Ilhan Omar is finally getting
the scrutiny she deserves

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D. Somalia) exploded on the national political scene in 2018, when she ran for and won a seat in the House of Representatives. Born in Somalia, she and her family had escaped that war-torn country when she was a small child and spent four years in a refugee camp in Kenya. Omar came to America in 1992, when she was 10. Omar was a perfect candidate to take over the seat that Keith Ellison vacated when he moved on to become Deputy Chair of the Democratic National Committee. As was Ellison, Omar is a Muslim representing Minnesota’s 5th congressional district

Get real! She will be re-elected by the same people that put her in office! It is great living here in Minnesota! Why would a Somali want to live where it gets to -50 degrees in the winter? Sigh... Thanks to the ELCA for all of your help! I'm certain all these Muslim refugees are totally down with support for your Christian heritage? No?

Her fraudulent marriage was to Ahmed Nur Said Elmi who appears to be her nephew, the son of her sister Leila who lives in UK. It was a civil ceremony presided over by a Christian minister and occurred while she was already married to the husband, Ahmed Hirsi, who she has two children with and was married in a Muslim religious ceremony. The sham marriage to her nephew was most likely done for immigration and/or student loan purposes.

Cannot IMAGINE Minnesotans re-electing this woman, who has done nothing for her district and everything for herself, and yet stranger things have happened. I spoke, last year, with one of her constituents who not only voted for her but hadn't a clue as to what Omar was pulling since her election---she, the constituent, was so busy virtue signaling that she elected a Muslim that nothing else mattered.

Minnesota politics is as messed up as when the British public decided to name a new ship Boaty McBoatface. The easiest and most painless way to rid ourselves of this Muslim terrorist supporter is at the ballot box. Minnesota citizens need to demand elimination of voter fraud, and support candidates who have the best interests of All Minnesotans, and for that matter, All Americans in mind.

If what I have read elsewhere is true, she is doing more than fraud and other illegal activities. She is harboring her war criminal father under an assumed alias as well. That is not a good thing. But the thing I find most hypocritical about the muslim religion right now is how they are tolerating such a promiscuous female flaunting her marriage vows while wearing the muslim headscarf. Absolute hypocrisy. I would be repulsed by anyone who did that, but for her to claim to be muslim, all while flaunting her promiscuity is appalling. And her imam is seemingly okay with it.

Democrats' insult-the-jury strategy
for winning their impeachment case

As if Democrats didn't screw the impeachment pooch for themselves earlier by having a House case so weak they had to ask the Senate to call their witnesses for them, and then presenting long, long, long-winded opening arguments that sent scores of Senate jurors fleeing the room, they have some hella bizarre logic in finishing out their case: Insult the jurors. That's some persuasion strategy. It's like they aren't interested in winning, not even with that tiny number of weak Republican swing Senators they need to persuade, who were more insulted than anyone. Much of the day Thursday at the impeachment show was spent on how innocent the Bidens are of any wrongdoing re: Ukraine. Rep. Sylvia Garcia had fancy charts and graphs to demonstrate her point: There was absolutely nothing wrong with Hunter Biden trading on his name to make $50 - 80k a month on the board of a verified corrupt gas company in Ukraine, nor was there anything wrong with Joe's quid pro quo, that the prosecutor investigating that company be fired or a billion dollars in aid would not be forthcoming. As the drama of Harry and Meghan unfolds, it becomes ever clearer that Harry is not a figure of tragedy, but of self-interested hypocrisy. The prince is not only dull, but the cause of dullness in others, more a figure of betrayal than of sacrifice. The psycho-drama of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex is one of spoiled individuals shedding crocodile tears over their fate. In his final speech on January 18, 2020 in London, Harry delivered what was in essence an address about himself, mentioning as always the impact of his mother Diana on him but never mentioning his father, Prince Charles, who has been financing him.

Yes, impeachment is a constitutional process, but because nobody expects President Turmp to be convicted, this impeachment is mostly a television show – in the genre of reality TV -- intended by its creators to influence the November elections for president and Senate. But Democrats forget at their own peril that President Trump is the most successful reality television producer in the history of the medium. He not only understands how drama is played out in a way that satisfies mass audiences, he is a practitioner of the dramatic form of reality TV in which real people react to structured situations
