Schiff: Calling Bidens to Testify Would Turn
Impeachment into a Sham

Original Article

On Monday’s broadcast of ABC’s “The View,” Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) said calling former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter to testify during the impeachment of President Donald Trump “would convert the Senate trial into the same kind of a sham proceeding.” Co-host Abby Huntsman said, “Do you worry that if you open the door to witnesses like John Bolton that Republicans —we’re talking about a fair trial — Republicans are going to call the Bidens, even you to testify. Trump re-upped his calls for you and Speaker Nancy Pelosi over the weekend. He was tweeting all about that. Joe Biden has said that he would not testify,

Comments:

TURN it into a sham??? It's already a sham, you [expletive deleted]!!! It has been from the get-go!!! Besides, as you yourself have said, if you have nothing to hide, why not go under oath and testify before the committee???

Last week (I swear I'm not making this up, as Dave Barry would say) a gecko found its way into our first floor apartment. It took some doing and more than a full day, but we (Mrs. Ford, actually) eventually corralled him and returned him to the outdoors. I felt sorry for the little guy in his ordeal - it's not his fault he looks like Adam Schiff.

NOBODY should be called to testify---that would be giving the Demos EXACTLY what they want. Let's say the Bidens were called as witnesses. Even if they were "caught" in a hundred lies, do you really think the media would fairly and accurately report that? No way! At best, they'd cherry-pick statements which most closely align with the Demo's agenda and at worst they simply would withhold or omit reporting the testimony at all. This is the MSM's MO forever---it's naive and foolhardy to think they'd suddenly change and become unbiased. Agreeing to call more witnesses to testify would be opening a Pandora's box that doesn't NEED to be opened. Vote to dismiss and be done with it.

Schiff wants the Biden's to be called and called first. He's bluffing with his bug eyed tell and he doesn't want to be called and thinks if the president calls the Biden's first, they have a chance and they would have a chance since the Marxist media would cry victimhood for Gropey Joe. Hopefully, the president will call the ambassador first (the ONLY fact witness), then Schiff, then Ciaramella, then Pelosi and call the justice department to send indictments to the last three for sedition and conspiring to commit sedition for starters. Should Schumer and Schiff try their quid pro quo telephone dance, THEN call the Biden's to rip that argument to shreds PLUS indict Gropey's son. Lay out the Other Than Honorable discharge from the reserves then two months later the 83 grand per month gig in Ukraine with the crimes attached to that for Hunter while painting Joe with his very own documented, on video, quid pro quo. The press will NEVER broadcast ANY of the Marxist's crimes but anyone with half a brain can watch the who thing on C-Span and on some conservative sights. THEN, we'll see what kind of deep staters Barr and Durham actually are when they too do not indict those with clear evidence of crimes, including Schiff, Pelosi and Ciaramella. Should the Marxists go further with their doubling down, then bring in Hillary, Obama, and all the other felons involved to testify. WE, WE, WE are owed that. To hell with a Senate blue ribbon committee to "fix" this and to hell with a David Kris to "fix" FISA. No more of that crap, please. Indict, try, jail, period.

Obviously the leftist and liberal Democrats in the House of Representatives covertly evaded having John Bolton testify in their impeachment inquisitions, because they know that he is a neocon warmonger, that’s why President Trump fired him, whose testimony could very well backfire on them big time. When the Democrats say something you can safely bet that they actually mean the opposite of what they are saying. It’s just a part of the Democrat’s sham political game. That’s all the Democrats have these days.

Well the Bidens ARE the alleged victims here, right? Heck, they almost got investigated! What might have happened then?! Lol. Since when does an accuser, a victim so to speak, not have to show up for court? It's a shame the Senate is going to legitimize that paperwork coming over from the House of Representatives by conducting a trial. There was NOTHING fair about that House, communist-style tribunal. Just tell the Democrats Foxtrot no and be done with it! The democrats have no case. They want to drag this out, have a show trial and get free publicity. It's in essence Salem witch trials all over again. Don't give those democrats a stage!

I am concerned and worried somewhat. I fear this has always been in place and they will convict Trump in the Senate. First Paul Ryan gave the election to the Democrats last year to set this up. They didn't need any Republican votes so blackmail was not needed. Now it is the Senate with a Republican majority. I don't trust the guys who loved Mueller. I fear the Obama blackmail machine will kick in as it has with John Roberts, Sessions, Comey, Brennen, Wray, and more. I believe Obama and his private 'intelligence' men have quite a bit on senators. Comey demonstrated he wasn't bashful about putting the dossier in Trumps face to blackmail him. This is why Obama's house is close by with Valerie inside with a huge computer system going out to an office somewhere in DC with all of Obama's former WH people. Blackmail!

Since this has been a sham impeachment inquisition from the get-go here is a route in keeping with that political effort that the Senate could begin. Now since the New York Times is claiming that Vladimir Putin’s hackers got into the Ukrainian energy company records looking for “dirt” on the Bidens. Common sense will tell you that there would be no Biden related “dirt” out there to be found, if the Bidens did not essentially put that “dirt” out there through corrupt activities in Ukraine that may have involved a portion of the US foreign aid money that went to Ukraine. Maybe the Senate should request that members of the Russian State Intelligence and Security Services show up in the Senate and testify to what “dirt” relating to the Bidens that they found? You can safely bet that the Democrats would oppose such witnesses from the get-go.

Shiff is a fact witness and he knows it. He conspired with the "whistleblower" in hatching the scheme. He changed existing requirements to match the narrative to allow any of this to proceed. And, who is afraid of CNN? The Kool-Aide drinkers on the Left will not be swayed, but the uncommitted that actually decide elections will know the deal. Should we avoid a trial because there is might open "Pandora's box"? Seriously? Game the system out of fear that our guy might be a loser? What are we, Democrats?

The first witness to call would be the whistle blower who started it all. After it is established that his 2nd hand "testimony" is contrived hearsay, the proceeding should be officially ended and the DOJ should begin it's investigation of the principals involved to development indictments for those involved with this transparent coup attempt., 2 cents worth.

Dogs don’t bark because they’re brave, they bark because they’re scared. The same can be said for the current House Speaker. Afraid of a revolt among the even more left wing of her party, afraid of a president her party looks increasingly unlikely to defeat in November, afraid of domestic and international American success via an approach that does not comport with her more liberal views and achieved without her consent, Speaker Pelosi has entered the twilight of her political career barking at all she fears. Enacting symbolic measures, absent any import, launching an impeachment, replete with hyperbole and hyper-gesticulation, yet devoid of any impeachable offense.

Unlike House Democrats, who used unfair rules to prevent their Republican colleagues from having any say in the chamber’s impeachment proceedings last year, Senate Republicans appear intent on ensuring their colleagues are granted a say. And so on Tuesday, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz reportedly pitched the idea of “witness reciprocity,” an innovative solution that calls for each side being allowed to call an equal number of witnesses to testify in President Donald Trump’s upcoming trial. If Senate Democrats were to choose to call former Trump administration National Security Adviser John Bolton, for instance, Republicans would, in turn, be allowed to call, say, former Vice President Joe Biden or his son Hunter.
