Is it possible President Donald Trump may have perfectly played the Iran conflict? He's been criticized for different and various reasons by people on the left and on the right. There's been a real concern that the president could get us into a war with Iran. It's early but it seems like Trump has effectively fired a warning shot at Iran to ramp down their continuing escalations -- without risking more American lives. If that's how it plays out, it will be hard not to credit the president for his handling of this matter.
To those critical of the president's action to take out Qassem Soleimani,

In a strange way, all the pre-mature hand wringing over "World War III" did Trump a favor — it made the excellent outcome of this move look EVEN better. And it made those hand wringers look EVEN worse than ee already knew they were.

Sounds like Tucker is doing a big bunch of backtracking. I noticed a change in his demeanor last night. We had considered not tuning in as his lesser instincts were evident in the several shows preceeding last night and were getting tiresome. Still, he continues featuring nitwit Tulsi.

I am surprised the article was co-authored by Carlson. He was a bit wobbly on his program the other night in reference to the President’s decision. I do believe the President wants to pull our men and women out of the Middle East and wholly support that. The radical governments there just want our people there for cannon fodder. They know they cannot best us but they can do an extreme amount of damage. I applaud what the President has done. He has hit them hard. This, more than anything is be the best deterrent. He used our superiority against them. Now they have to play our game instead of bogging us down in their IED warfare. Had the policy been in place long ago many lives could have been saved and untold suffering could have been avoided.

So Tucker, you apologized yet for your ludicrous attack on Trump for getting the most evil terrorist on the planet? You probably would have hollered at FDR for taking out the Japanese general back at the beginning of WWII in retaliation for Pearl Harbor as well. Why do these people think we will forget their original actions when they do stuff like write a nice article like this? We haven't forgotten Tucker.

Maybe there is a silver lining to all the liberal (and Republican) hysteria. Maybe the Iranians listened to the democrats, CNN, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, NPR and all the rest hyping the possibility of WW III and believed it was about to happen! Iran's little fireworks display (their retaliation) was a half-hearted attempt at face-saving, but not enough to make President Trump act!

Yes. Much praise is deserved. However, I am not convinced it is over. Not by a long shot. Iran will raise the bar and start launching rockets into Iraq and Israel. Could be sleeper cell-inspired terrorist attacks in the states. The aim will be to create anger and fear here in the states to weaken Trump as a propaganda tool ahead of the November election. The dims, msm, deep state, and the globalists will be all too happy to help spread fear here. And watch the stock market tank. Watch how Bloomers, Georgie Boy, and The Stye spend their ad money. The anti-American Jane Fondas will come out of the woodwork opposing any war and will openly collude with Iran. Khamenei, Xi, Putie, the dims, and msm will unite with a common goal. Meanwhile, keep an eye on Kimmie in NK. He could try to make it a two-front war.
If such a conflict occurs, early and substantial damage to Iran's (and NK's) nuclear production facilities will be essential because these were the President's first words when he spoke to the nation earlier this week.
Sorry to rain on the parade, folks, just how I see it right now. Good chance I will be wrong, but, there's just too many bad people out there whose only purpose is to eliminate Trump politically or otherwise.

It's like when Trump got elected. Half of us were very happy. (Just like half were very happy when the 'messiah' won). But we weren't allowed to be happy. Half of us donned pussy hats and had to be very sad, mad, fearful, crazy.
What Trump has done with Iran is good. It SHOULD make us happy. And it would... if that were allowed.

Anyone who believes that the Iranians have not been continuing to develop nuclear weapons in violation of their naive deal with Barack Obama that has no competent verification procedures has to be a complete Moron. If the Iranians lie about shooting down a commercial airliner, they certainly would have no qualms in lying about continuing to develop nuclear weapons and of course the long-range missiles to deliver such nuclear weapons.

.The last time that the Iranians came out to play with the big boys was 1988 and they got their clocks cleaned, losing over half their navy. They cannot match modern western nations in a conventional conflict, that is why they hide behind proxies and deny involvement. The Obama appeasers chose to treat this ridiculous clown show of a country as a legitimate nation. It isn't certain whether it was out of naive innocence or incompetence or they really are sympathizers.

Tucker Carlson’s name is not in the by-line of this article. Why is it shown here in this post? By the way ... We constantly criticize the left for demanding complete agreement with any position lest you be kicked from the herd. Some of the comments here against Tucker for expressing a dissenting opinion seem to be coming pretty close to that leftist standard. Chill, folks.

Seems like just a couple of days ago Tucker was wringing his hands at Trump's incompetence and his huge errors.

It seems to me that President Trump is skillfully executing the best path possible in a complicated and dangerous situation.
He is not needlessly killing gobs of people, and not putting our service members in unnecessary danger. He has told the Iranian leaders- LOUD AND CLEAR- that if they kill Americans, He will come after THEM- not 'proxies', not foreign 'little guys', not Iranians on the street, not Iranian foot soldiers, but THEM Personally- the Iranian thug leaders that are causing the trouble.
I recall a saying from a few years back, it goes something like this:
"It is the Role of The LORD to judge the Leaders of Iran.
It is the Role of the United States Military to ensure that the Meeting takes place."
