Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to lose her
congressional seat based on all those
NYC residents fleeing socialism?

Socialist blue New York is seeing its locals fleeing to other states and with those kind of losses, someone's congressional seat has got to go. Whose seat is on the block? The Daily Wire has a report: According to pollster Frank Luntz, New York is likely to lose a seat in Congress after the 2020 census and Democrats in the state legislature will have to redraw the state’s Congressional districts as a result. Although there are plenty of places to cut, New York Dems are reportedly eyeing Ocasio-Cortez’s Bronx district for elimination because she’s been out of sync with state-level Democrats who control the process.

A more fitting outcome would be to see this chica get beaten like an old horse in a landslide election but I'll take "elimination of the position" which is a common corporate definition of dead weight. She's not only out of sync with state-level democrats, she's out of sync with the country. Sayonara Socialista.

Or she could just move over to the adjacent or newly reapportioned District that makes up the representation of the area where she was elected and primary out whoever the old line liberal Democrat who will be running there just as she did with Crowley. Remember the low income Congressional Districts where constituencies including large numbers of illegal aliens make it much easier for Democrats to win those District elections, as the aliens living there, either illegal or legally, are not qualified to vote, making the pool of actual voters greatly diminished. That’s why Congressional seat reapportionment should only be based upon the census numbers of US citizens who are qualified to vote in a District, not including aliens who are not qualified to vote.

At first glance I was pretty impressed with the chutzpah and disingenuousness of Greta Thunberg, who just came out with this: Greta Thunberg said she "wouldn't have wasted my time" meeting with President Trump to discuss climate change. In an interview with BBC radio, the 16-year-old activist was asked what she would have said to Trump if they'd spoken at a United Nations summit on climate change. Thunberg said she wouldn't have said anything because Trump isn't listening.

Remember when Democrats reflexively accused President Donald Trump of being a racist when he said illegal immigrants steal American jobs? Turns out, he was right, as evidenced by the aftermath of the massive summer raid that rounded up hundreds of illegals working at chicken processing plants in Mississippi. In early August, some 600 Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents surrounded seven plants operated by five companies in six different cities. They rounded up 680 “undocumented” immigrants, in what was described as the largest raid in a single state. This is part of a larger effort by Trump to target companies that knowingly hire illegal immigrants.

All through the coming new year, an election year, the American people should remember the Christmas “gift” the Washington establishment has carefully wrapped and dumped under the tree as we gather with family. Thanks to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, the increasingly radical left to whose tune she must dance, and the permanent bureaucratic apparatus devoted to resisting most of what the Trump administration is doing, we find an illegitimate impeachment in our stocking. Even as a homeless fellow was using aisle 10 of a San Francisco’s Safeway as an open sewer last weekend, the thinking in Sacramento and city halls across California remained mired in the “we need more money” mindset. Of course increased outlays will only make matters worse. California freely spends other people’s money on the homeless, just as anyone would expect a Democrat-dominated state to do. Consider some recent headlines: The lesson about spending should have been learned more than 50 years ago, when Sargent Shriver was waging President Lyndon Johnson’s War on Poverty.

Revolutionary Guard General Qassem Soleimani, the powerful head of Iran's elite Quds Force, has been killed in an airstrike at Baghdad International Airport, Iraqi TV and three Iraqi officials officials said Friday. The officials said the strike also killed Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the deputy commander of Iran-backed militias in Iraq known as the Popular Mobilization Forces, which were responsible for the recent attack on the U.S. embassy in Baghdad. An official with the PMF blamed the U.S. military for the strike. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., is calling on the Trump administration to immediately brief lawmakers on the U.S. airstrike that killed a top Iranian commander in Iraq and what the White House plans to do next. The strike in Iraq was directed by President Donald Trump and killed Qassem Soleimani, the commander of Iran's secretive Quds Force, the Department of Defense announced Thursday night. The move, which is likely to provoke retaliation from Iran, comes amid heightened tensions between the Trump administration and Tehran over rocket attacks aimed at coalition forces in Iraq. U.S. officials have said those attacks were likely carried out by Iranian-backed militias with links to the Quds Force.

So much for the taunt from Iran’s “supreme leader,” Ayatollah Khamanei, that America “cannot do a damn thing” about Iran’s attack on our embassy in Baghdad. It took President Trump but a day after that jibe to wheel on the Iranians. He launched a drone attack that found and killed the commander of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps, General Qassim Soleimani. It is likely to mark a turning point in the not-so-quasi war that Iran has been levying against us — and, among others, Israel. This is not a situation in which responsibility is being debated on murky evidence.

The U.S. killing of Qassim Soleimani In Baghdad on Thursday ends an enduring threat. At least in the short term, however, it will unleash Iranian retaliation. The leader of the external action arm of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Soleimani long led that regime's efforts to destroy its enemies and expand its revolution.
