Virginia's Governor Ralph Northam and the Legislature's Democrat majority are anticipating resistance to the gun control measures they are planning, including a ban on "assault weapons" and certain magazines. The legislative majorities and enthusiasm for gun-grabbing are the result of the northern D.C. suburbs' population growth and are being resisted by the non-urban parts of state, leading to a proliferation of gun sanctuary counties: Latest sanctuary map with Fauquier and Charles City counties. — Phil Van Cleave VCDL (@VCDL_ORG) December 24, 2019 Now the Second Amendment–haters seem to be anticipating push coming to shove. I had thought that Northam was casting threats in order to please his Sugar Daddies Bloomberg and Soros. But as the time gets closer I'm thinking Kristallnacht may be in the offing.

Don't have a crystal ball. But these things are always appealed and will eventually make it to the SCOTUS. If the Soros puppet Coonman attempts to use the National Guard to implement the Bataan Death March he may be in store for a surprise. When Slick Willie's patron saint Orval Faubus tried to use the Arkansas National Guard to oppose an Federal order to integrate President Eisenhower nationalized their guard. Two can play at this game.

Several times, the amount of $250K was mentioned to enforce the new laws. Nothing gets done on 250 big ones in government. What is this a feint so small that Northam is assured to get it - or seed money to encourage Bloomberg and his cronies to 'invest' more in gun control. No matter, this is evil and will be dealt with somehow.

Somehow when Donald Trump wants to ENFORCE existing immigration laws there seems to be a Democrat lawyer getting a court order to stall it or stop it. Where are the Repubs / (echoes) lawyers when a state governor VIOLATES THE US BILL OF RIGHTS ? Ship your guns to Texas. I'll store them until somebody sorts this BS out.

Trump can stop this - - easily and legally - - by taking control of the National Guard - - and ordering them not to do anything so unconstitutional. And while he's as it - - he can order them to arrest Northam for being such a dork.

After his recent troubles, Gov. Coonman bent over backwards to curry favor with blacks. Way backwards. D'ya suppose he'll start plucking guns from that constituency first? Or maybe he'll just let them keep their arms because you know, 1619 and stuff.

Northam is the real deal ~ he's a legitimate KuKluxer. It's not just black face and sheets in the closet, this guy thinks like one. He wants to make sure the people of color are totally disarmed, as well as the foreigners, and the Republicans..... The second groundswell he's stirred up is an attempt to drag him before a RECALL COURT to stand grial. Takes 400,000 names on a petition. Don't know the current status, but this started just the other day. When this over he will need to move out of state.......

Good. It's about time. Let's get it on. OUR side has 70 million AR-15's (and assorted other neat weapons) and about 1,000,000,000,000 rounds of ammunition, and we spend a lot of time on the range. THEIR side wants safe spaces, can't figure out which bathroom to use, and doesn't know which end of a firearm the projectile exits. I wonder how they think this is going to end? We've waited long enough. Lock and load - we're crossing the line of departure.

Seventy-five years ago, at the Battle of the Bulge (fought from Dec. 16, 1944, to Jan. 25, 1945), the United States suffered more casualties than in any other battle in its history. Some 19,000 Americans were killed, 47,500 wounded and 23,000 reported missing. The American and British armies were completely surprised by a last-gasp German offensive, given that Allied forces were near the Rhine River and ready to cross into Germany to finish off a crippled Third Reich. The Americans had been exhausted by a rapid 300-mile summer advance to free much of France and Belgium. In their complacence, they oddly did not worry much about their thinning lines,

By signing the $738 billion Defense Spending Bill, on Friday, President Donald Trump has raised the legal age for smoking to 21 nationwide — news that went largely unnoticed. The new rules include cigarettes and e-cigarettes. The smoking age hike had bipartisan support in the Senate, and was co-authored by Democrats Brian Schatz and Dick Durbin, and Republicans Mitt Romney and Todd Young, CNN reported. Now that Trump’s signature is on the bill, the Food and Drug Administration has 180 days to update its regulations — and the new age requirement will go into effect 90 days later, ABC News reported.

New Zealand is going assault weapon free. Authorities in the country say more than 50,000 firearms have been handed over to the police after a nationwide gun buyback program. The initiative began after a massacre at two mosques in Christchurch which left 51 dead in March. An additional 2,700 guns were modified to make compliant with new regulations and 5,000 firearms of all types were also collected as part of a no-questions-asked amnesty. All told, the government has spent roughly $66 million on the effort.

Exxon’s win Tuesday against New York state’s climate-change lawsuit couldn’t have been more complete: Not only did the judge find the Attorney General’s Office failed to prove fraud, he also blasted the case as “hyperbolic” — and praised Exxon. Around eighty-four counties and cities throughout the Commonwealth have pledged to ignore and resist these measures. Some Virginia elected officials have called for the National Guard to carry out such confiscation, which would imply the arrest and disarmament of local officials who get in the way. Governor Northam has stopped short of adopting such an idea, but he will not rule it out. Additional stories indicate that the government will disable internet and telephone access to affected areas during the crackdown.
