Biden: Hero Who Stopped Texas Church
Shooter Was Wrong To Have A Gun

During a question and answer session on NBC’s “Today” show, former vice president and rumored presidential 2020 contender Joe Biden said the hero who stopped the Texas church shooter earlier this month should not have been allowed to carry an AR-15. “With the tragedy that just happened in Texas, how do you justify the Democratic view on gun control when the shooter was stopped by a man who was legally licensed to carry a gun?” a young woman in the audience asked Biden.

Biden is an idiot. Always has been and always will be. What's the saying, you can't fix stupid. One minor correction: "Civilians are already banned from owning automatic weapons." This is not exactly accurate. Civilians can purchase and own fully automatic weapons if they apply for and receive a federal license to do so.. Very expensive process and you will be investigated very thoroughly. For the most part it is not worth the effort unless you are very wealthy and have the time to go through it.

You don’t think he’s done anything wrong. And yet he’s done no one any good. He’s harmed people. What does that say about your character, Joe??? I’ll answer for ya: It says your character sucks! To your point #9, if Old Joe was THAT stupid two full years ago, imagine how clueless he is now. He didn't get smarter as he grew older. Simple test: If our wonderful service men & woman overseas in war zones like Iraq, outside of Syria or in Afghanistan had to turn in their M16A4's and they were all given just an AR-15 to use, they'd get slaughtered. The outcome of the entire "Desert Storm" effort would have been sadly different.

Befuddled Biden stumbles across the finish line unless Bloomberg or Steyer outright purchase the nomination. Biden is a corrupt incompetent idiot of a candidate, and the voting public knows it. The only reason he has any traction is because he was Obama's VP. He never accomplished anything on his own. Maybe the Dems will wise up and send him packing just like the Republicans did to Jeb Bush.

Biden is a demented fool. He has always been a fool, and an anti-gun, anti-2nd Amendment fool. Thank goodness for brave men like Mr. Willeford, and that he had a powerful, rapid firing weapon when he went up against this murderer. It is interesting that the shooter had a vest capable of stopping the AR15 rifle bullets. The overwhelming majority of "bulletproof vests" are only rated for handgun cartridges, will not stop rifle cartridges. That this person had obtained one of the small fraction of vests that are designed to stop rifle ammunition shows he was quite serious about his murderous intent.

#20, I very much respect your opinions on many things, but your comments on bullets fired into the air are incomplete, and need clarification. Yes, generally "firing into the air" is NOT safe, and should be condemned. However, there are HUGE variances in effects depending on firing angle. Please look up the work done by US Army General Julian Hatcher on the topic of .30 caliber rifle/machine gun bullets fired approximately straight up, say within 30 or 40 degrees of the zenith. They return to earth with a few hundred ft/sec velocity, enough, in Hatcher's testing to put a nice dent in a piece of lumber, maybe a knot and minor cut on a head. The Army was concerned about whether using machine guns to shoot at WW1 enemy aircraft would endanger our own troops on the ground, so Hatcher, head of US Army Small Arms did careful testing on the topic. It is written up in his book "Hatcher's Notebook", which I have had in my library for 4 decades. Where this gets very confusing it that YES, people ARE killed by "firing into the air". No question about it, it is stupid and very unsafe. But this is when the bullets are fired at lower angles from around 30-40 degrees from the horizon to even lower angles. These low angle bullets, even handgun bullets can be dangerous out to half a mile or more, and rifle bullets can be dangerous to well over a mile. In WW1, machine guns, which fired the same ammunition as the battle rifles used, and which is now used in common hunting rifles, were routinely used to strafe trenches out to 2 miles, the guns firing at angles around 10-20 degree up from the horizon. Germany machine gun ammunition had a maximum killing range of ~3800 meters or so, and would go farther. So, deadly at 2+ miles at lower angles, but harmless when it falls back from firing upward near the zenith. And moron Biden's legally foolish shotgun recommendation is ballistically safe. The biggest shotgun trap tournament ever held is at Dayton, and the shooters literally edge the Dayton commercial airport, and are firing directly at the planes, terminal, etc with thousands and thousands of shotgun blasts per day during the tournament. The shot used will go only a couple hundred yards maximum, and it all falls short of any airport property. A shotgun hunting slug (single bullet) would be totally unsafe, but the small, round shot (~1/16th inch diameter) used for trap shooting and bird hunting has very short range, far less than any bullet.

Biden cannot describe the difference between semiautomatic and automatic. He cann0t tell an AR-15 from a BB gun. There is no such weapon termed 'assault weapon'. That was a term generated by the Democrats. It is not mentioned in the Bill that Biden wrote. How can you make law when you do not research weapons or have experts working with lawmakers to ensure the law does not infringe on the freedom to carry a gun.

#32. Absolutely correct. A .22 can travel over a mile. At a mile or a mile and a half it probably won't kill you, but you probably don't want to catch it either. When I was a kid caddying at Rolling Rock country club, my brother and I would walk up the private road to the the clubhouse. The road curved around the skeet shooting platform that was less than 200 yards, if I remember correctly. The members would be shooting and as we walked along we would hear the shot BBs raining through the trees beside the road. It got our attention, but we never saw BBs and I'm sure no one else did or the range would not be there. I just did a search to see if the old range is still there. They do have a skeet shooting lodge, so probably yes. BTW, they also are still doing the annual foxhunt. Western PA billionaires have at least one or two advantages over the troll Bloomers.

Biden and,for that matter, all the other Democrats want more dead bodies to help them push gun confiscation from law abiding citizens. A law abiding with a gun stopping amass shooting doesn't fit their narrative, so they attack the person who saved lives. Joe M™alarky is too stupid to realize that the killer in this case was already prohibited from buying a gun, because he was dishonorably discharged from the Air Force. The problem was the bureaucratic record-keepers did not bother to put his name in the national database, so he did not show up on the instant background check. This is a perfect example what happens when you put all of your faith in Big Government to protect you from the bad guys.

1. I don't think Texas requires any sort of unconstitutional 'license' to carry a rifle. Which is what the guy used, AFAIR 2. We need to start pushing back that the fedgov doesn't get to violate the 2nd through its 'power to tax'. And rescind every unconstitutional law on the books so regular citizens aren't legally harassed by the armed gov thugs. 3. Every citizen needs the same weaponry as the federal combat troops, plus (if you can afford it) artillery, tanks, armored vehicles, fighters and ships (again, if you can afford it) and want to buy one - just as we did before the revolutionary war. For those of you who are aghast, read some history. You've been indoctrinated, not educated.

#43 is correct. Prior to the Civil War, there were private militia groups who had their own artillery. Very expensive, but those who could afford it had legal artillery. No longer legal to purchase any weapon with barrel diameter over .501" without special, extremely difficult to get, "destructive device" permit from the feds.

The death of Harry Dunn, an English teenager who was killed on August 27 2019, sparked a “bitter diplomatic row” between Great Britain and the United States. The Arkansas Supreme Court on Tuesday ruled that Democrat Jimmie Wilson is ineligible to serve in the state Legislature due to decades-old misdemeanor convictions in federal court, wiping out Wilson's victory at the polls earlier this month in House District 12. Wilson, a former state lawmaker who was convicted of selling mortgaged crops and illegal use of farm loans, had argued that a pardon he received from President Bill Clinton in 2001 removed any barriers to his potential return to the Legislature. Running against Republican David Tollett, Wilson received more than 52% of the vote in the Nov. 3 election. A unanimous decision by the high court, however, held that the pardon

Trump needs to have overwhelming evidence of election fraud, and he needs to bring that evidence to light in very public hearings. Without such evidence, his claims won’t be taken seriously enough—by the press or a sufficient number of the electorate—to ensure a peaceful transition to a second term. The rush job to affirm Biden as president-elect by the media and the Democrat Party is not constitutionally required, and indeed smacks of a kind of desperation to avoid scrutiny. Contrary to their claims, Trump’s thorough investigation of potential large-scale election fraud is fully in accord with the Constitution. As the one in whom executive power is vested,

Nancy Pelosi’s top priority is to turn America into a one-party nation ruled by Democrats. Her bill HR 1 trashes the U.S. Constitution in an attempt to rig the system and make it virtually impossible to elect a Republican president or Congress again. It’s a power grab. The bill eviscerates state voting laws and forces all the states to conform to a set of rules that includes automatic voter registration. Anyone who goes to a DMV or applies for food stamps, Medicaid or other social services, or attends a public college will be automatically enrolled to vote. Noncitizens are obligated to identify themselves and opt out,

The Royal Family was left reeling this morning after Meghan Markle tearfully revealed that the stress of royal life made her suicidal when she was five months pregnant, claimed Archie was denied the title of prince because he is mixed-race and said Kate Middleton made her cry before she married Harry in a bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey. The couple also chose to reveal that they are having a baby girl to the tens of millions of people watching the CBS show broadcast in the US before accusing the Royal Family of racism and revealing the deep rift 'Megxit' has caused with Prince Charles and Prince William.

I’m probably second to none in my dislike for Meghan Markle. There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred. And the problem is that, when it comes to that left-wing diva, Meghan Markle, it’s hard to believe most of what she says. After weeks of hype, CBS finally televised Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah.

Without question, the vast majority of Americans who support former President Donald Trump were angry and frustrated throughout 2020 passed with barely a mention of then-U.S. Attorney John Durham’s criminal investigation into the FBI’s fraudulent “Russiagate” counterterrorism operation directed at his 2016 campaign. In the weeks before the November election, word got out that then-Attorney General William Barr wasn’t going to announce any indictments or even a report on Durham’s investigation because he did not want to influence the outcome. So far, in fact, the only indictment to come out of the Durham probe is that of former FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith, who essentially got a slap on the wrist

Rep. Steve Cohen vowed to renew the push to remove former FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover’s name from the bureau’s downtown Washington headquarters, according to an interview released Monday. Appearing on Yahoo! News’ Skullduggery podcast, the Tennessee Democrat said the effort is getting a fresh look after the release of a new movie highlighting the FBI’s secret program to discredit civil rights activists. The Washington Times in 2019 first reported Democrats’ bid to strip the longtime FBI director’s name from the bureau’s headquarters. Mr. Cohen said the impetus to revive the bid is the new movie, “Judas and the Black Messiah.” The movie details

“There must have been a moment, at the beginning, when we could have said –-no. But somehow we missed it.” Tom Stoppard The millions of Americans who were paying attention throughout the 2020 election campaign all became painfully aware of the fact that Joe Biden’s cognitive abilities were slipping and slipping fast. His wife, as the person closest to him, should have been the one to call the campaign quits in order to reduce stress on the man. Instead, apparently so anxious to become the First Lady by any means necessary, Mrs. Biden continued to push her failing husband’s campaign forward as if he were mentally qualified.
