The truth is finally out.
The FBI fulfilled its mission.

For two years, the president of the United States and his followers have loudly declared that the FBI acted unlawfully in conducting a counterintelligence investigation of Russia’s interference in the 2016 presidential campaign. They repeatedly told the American people that the FBI had done all sorts of bad things, such as tapping Donald Trump’s wires during the campaign, opening an investigation without adequate cause, with the intent to damage Trump, and inserting secret informants into the Trump campaign. The president said the FBI’s actions were “treason.”

Comey is supposed to understand the limitations of the IG investigation... Even I understand the difference between the procedural investigation and a criminal investigation. Mrs. Comey... if you are reading this... your son may still be going to jail.

It is amazing that this self righteous narcisst can continue to lie even when the evidence stares him in that creepy face . We can only hope that Durham has the last word and this treasonous bstd winds up behind bars. For both Barr and Durham to come out today and make clear that the DOJ does not go along with the IG's conclusions after so much wrongdoing does not bode well for the unholy trinity of Comey, Brennan and Clapper. I notice that Clapper has been smart enough to remain silent. Perhaps he will be the one to finally flip. Bruce Ohr and his wife are also weak links in this hideous chain of clearly treasonous behavior. Horowitz has really tarnished his reputation by conducting a good investigation but then destroying it all with a political cover up of his own.

Full disclosure: I could not read past the first paragraph. Comey’s areogance and willingness to lie makes it impossible to waste my time reading what he has to say. I will wait to reserve judgment until I see what Durham’s investigation finds. From all appearances Mr. Durham has a decidedly different take on the actions taken by the FBI than that of Mr. Horowitz. I just hope and pray that Durham’s findings don’t come too late. Time is of the essence. The longer the media can spin this in the democrats favor, the more peril it puts the county in. Once the false narrative is set, it is going to be extremely difficult to present evidence that challenges it without it being labeled as retribution.

Yet, despite some flimsy rationale to open the investigation, it was KNOWN, to be bogus based on exculpatory evidence, by January. And, you, Mr. Comey, even advised the House in May you had nothing to back it up. To allow the investigation to continue, and to sign FISA warrants extending the surveillance seems like a criminal conspiracy, at the least.

The establishment narrative on Joe Biden is, to put it mildly, malarkey. Gropey J actually is everything the liberals accuse Donald Trump of being – bizarre, vulgar, dumb, corrupt, incompetent, and utterly unfit to be president. But yet the Creepy Veepy is so much more. In the last month, this totally not-senile, not-at-all-weird guy has assembled a track record of freaky behavior that would put mid-eighties Crispin Glover to shame. Let’s review… Corn Pop is old news. Biden’s latest rambling onion-on-the-belt monologue was something about little kids at a pool rubbing his leg hair or something – it’s so random I’m not even linking to it.

Live by the identity-politics sword, die by the identity-politics sword. The Democrats are learning that the hard way. With Sen. Kamala Harris of California having pulled out of the party’s 2020 presidential field last week, Democrats are wringing their hands and agonizing at the very real prospect that all of the participants in their upcoming candidates’ debate, next week in Los Angeles, will be — horror of horrors!— monochromatic. That is to say, only caucasians. Unless former HUD Secretary Julian Castro, who is Hispanic, and/or Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey, who is black, can meet by 11:59 p.m. Thursday, the polling and fundraising thresholds required to qualify

One of my all-time favorite sporting moments concerns a soccer match in Thailand between Satri Angthong and Bangkok Sports Club. The match, in 2017, had gone to a penalty shoot-out, and extraordinarily the score had reached 19-19 when a Bangkok player hit the crossbar with a thunderous shot. Satri’s goalkeeper charged forwards to his teammates waiting on the half-way line, punching the air and leaping like a demented dolphin in wild jubilation as his opponent sank his hands to his knees in abject despair. But the ball, which had soared off the crossbar into the stratosphere, crashed to the ground again and spun viciously in the direction of the goal. The goalkeeper suddenly realized

The Democrats have filed Articles of Impeachment. No one is surprised, because impeachment has been the goal for the radical Left and others who dislike the president since before his election. Impeachment of a president is a solemn undertaking. It will inevitably, as Alexander Hamilton noted in Federalist No. 65, veer toward political factions. Yet it is important that our Founders intentionally did not embrace “recalls” or “votes of no confidence.” Rather, our system demands from Congress evidence of high crimes and misdemeanors and contemplates a level of behavior commensurate with the chaos inflicted on the republic by potential removal of a president.

Monday’s split-screen drama, as the House Judiciary Committee weighed impeachment charges against President Trump and as the Justice Department’s inspector general released a 476-page report on the FBI’s handling of its 2016 investigation into Trump’s campaign, made one truth of the modern world inescapable: The lies and obfuscations forwarded ad infinitum on Fox News pose a dangerous threat to the national security of the United States. The whistleblower himself never emerged publicly to tell his story, and the publication will also honor the civil servants who came forward to testify before Congress about the events described in his report. That report centered on a July 25 phone call between Trump and Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky. It charged that Trump used "the power of his office to solicit interference from a foreign country in the 2020 U.S. election."

The New York State attorney general has issued a new subpoena to the National Rifle Association, deepening her eight-month investigation and providing fresh clues about where it is headed, according to people with knowledge of the document. The subpoena, which was described to The New York Times, was issued last week and covers at least four areas, including campaign finance, payments made to board members and tax compliance. Because the N.R.A. is chartered in New York and the office of the attorney general, Letitia James, has a range of enforcement options, the investigation has alarmed N.R.A. officials already grappling with infighting and litigation.

In a 23-page court filing, Page's attorneys spell out how on December 12, 2017, former Attorney General Jeff Sessions' spokeswoman invited reporters to the Department of Justice's headquarters after normal business hours and showed them the texts. This release led to years of 'demeaning' tweets from President Trump, forced Page into therapy and left her looking for work, the lawsuit said.
