Second Lt. Mohammed Saeed Alshamrani, an aviation officer in the Saudi Air Force, opened fire at the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Fla., on Friday, killing four people and wounding many others. In doing so, he showed yet again that the prevailing politically correct obfuscation and denial regarding the jihad threat is not only wrong, it’s dangerous. If we had a realistic approach to the jihad threat, Mohammed Saeed Alshamrani’s victims would be alive today.
Before he embarked upon his killing spree, someone who appeared to be Alshamrani ranted on Twitter about the evils of America. First, he rejected the George W. Bush explanation for jihad terrorism,

But Islam means peace. They tell us so. We can't interfere with their faith, which is to kill the infidel.
That would not be American.
My goodness! Do you want us to be safe? Then submit to Allah.
Remember 2001. Pilots learned to fly but not land. And a Wall of Separation prevented any inquiry. Of course the Wall was in place to protect Indonesians funding Clinton (Garafolo).
But there is certainly no terrorism when a Saudi pilot opens fire.
18 of 19 involved in 911 were Saudi, but no problem.

How did he come to possess a gun on base? We were never allowed to have one in our possession; they were to be kept at the base armory, and checked out when you wanted it, but you couldn't carry it openly. Only out of the base could you take it out of the case. Have they gotten this lax in security now?

My question to all of this is why do we have foreign nationals in our military academies, military bases and military facilities in general? Why? This is the result. All the Saudis that are her in these facilities should be expel this very minute.

Wonder if Dubya enjoyed his evening cigar on the porch the other night...even without Prince Bandar's company.

And meanwhile--- mass murderer Nidal Hassan, convicted of the Fort Hood killings and sentenced to death 6 years ago, still sits in a military prison.

Ft. Hood happened during Obama's time in 2009.. Kinda wondering if this training program that goes along with the sale of the jets was also from Obama's time as well. Obama poisons everything he touches. I don't mind the training of Saudi pilots to fly their purchases, but we really need to have better screening for what we allow into our nation.

Because people who do not Believe, do not believe that other people truly Believe.
Jihadists truly Believe. Most of our governmental structure and leaders of our culture don't believe in anything and believe the rest of the world is just like them.

Exactly. All US military bases should permit any officer who wants to be armed to be armed on base, when compatible with their jobs. Enlisted troops who are properly trained should have the same authorization when it is compatible with their jobs.
Having the entire base of military people unable to defend themselves against a handgun, so they just die like shooting fish in a barrel is NOT RIGHT. Let those who choose to be armed do it legally on base.

#3, "a license to buy a gun"??
I don't know where you live, but where I live there is no such a thing as a license to by a gun. It is a RIGHT. There is a background check for purchases from dealers, but no "license" in Free America. A few states have such a offense against the Constitution, but only a minority.
AFAIK, a legal US resident is able to legally purchase a gun, by federal law. There may be some state laws that do not permit it.
In the end - legal or not, evil people WILL obtain weapons. A handgun, a rifle, a truckload of explosives. They WILL find a weapon. We need to be armed against their inevitable armed capability.

Apparently the FBI was too busy spying on the President and conservative journalists to monitor the activities of alien Muslims in this country spouting terrorist hate on the internet.

This attack proves we have learned nothing since September 11! Why are we letting Saudis into our country, especially for flight or military training? Fifteen of the 19 hijackers on September 11 were Saudis.

Thank the community organizer punk who could never, ever use the word terrorism, jihad, etc. Always babbling away what a lovely 'religion' and people they are. They are not! They are born and bred to kill everyone who does not adhere to the religion of the pedophile Mohamed!
