Next year’s Iowa caucuses on Feb. 3 could be held in far-flung locations as distant as California — and even abroad, including Mexico and Japan. That’s due to a new idea, the “satellite caucus meeting,” that Democrats hope to use to expand “access” to the quadrennial political contest, which traditionally kicks off the start of the presidential primary. As Breitbart News reported earlier this year, Democrats in Iowa and in Nevada — which is the third state in the party’s primary — both proposed to allow voters to participate in their caucuses by telephone if they could not attend the traditional community gatherings at which they debate the merits

Because there is NO WAY this will eventually be used for some sort of election fraud by the Left.
Open borders; opposition to valid ID at polling places; DACA; deceased voters somehow still on active voting rolls - yeah, it all fits together. Its as if the Dems are convinced that their ever-increasing craziness is/has been losing them real American voters, so they have to get fresh new voters to make up for the shortfall in any way they can: by hook or by crook.

Caucuses were supposed to be 'intimate affairs' with only the most die-hard political junkies showing their preferences. For a long time no one outside of Iowa paid much attention. Then a little-known governor from Georgia unexpectedly popped out of the cake back in '76 and eventually won it all. Still - the whole affair is way over rated.

Why not let the Chinese and perhaps the Brazilians to also join in to help select candidates to run for the Dems?
They really are insane.

Please correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the Iowa dimocrat caucus rule, as it stands, allows anyone to go to a caucus, as long as the person says he or she (or whatever) intends to be an Iowa resident by November, 2020, and will vote in Iowa. The rule also allows on site registration.
Barack Obola shuttled a whole bunch of out of staters to Iowa for the caucuses in 2008, and that cost Lady Lucifer the Iowa win. (John Edwards probably did the same thing, when he wasn't hunping his girlfriend.)
Expanding the Iowa caucuses to out of state locations is, well, insane.

If people think the Electoral College is a bit arcane (even if it isn't) then the outsized influence of of Iowa's goofy horse-and-cart system and New Hampshire's yokels-in-the-diner campaigns have long been a problem.
They have foisted some horrible candidates and horrible presidents on us. They allow the media to play gatekeeper and the media - as biased, self-regarding and cynical as ever - have failed in the primaries as they fail elsewhere.
Candidate and campaigns intentionally offer platitudes and handshakes and not much else - because firm positions on issues seem to upset the soft-headed masses.

Uh huh. This will certainly fly in Des Moine. We deplorables hate the coastal elites. Do you think we'll give a flying rats ass what people think elsewhere let alone give them a voice in our affairs?

DemonRats have been changing the rules and laws for years now to benefit their party and shut everyone else out. Someone needs to stop all their shenanigans.
