Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was hospitalized on Friday evening after coming down with the chills and a fever, the high court announced Saturday. “Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was admitted to Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, last night after experiencing chills and fever earlier in the day. She was initially evaluated at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C. before being transferred to Johns Hopkins Hospital for further evaluation and treatment of any possible infection,” Supreme Court spokeswoman Kathleen Arberg said in a statement. “With intravenous antibiotics and fluids, her symptoms have abated and she expects to be released from the hospital as early as Sunday morning.”

DJT may not be able to appoint a 'hard core' conservative because in an election year Senators Collins and Murkowski and some others can't be counted on as yes votes. He will also put on the spot Senators from purple states who would vote yes at their peril. DJT may have to save ConeyBarrett until the 2nd term and go with a 'moderate'conservative who won't scare off the white suburban female voters who he needs to carry upper midwest states. Just sayin' He can't afford to lose this battle prior to a likely victory in Nov.

The media seem not to have watched the impeachment hearings: they stopped paying attention the moment the witnesses’ prepared statements were leaked and the Democrats’ talking points were posted. Nor did many journalists bother to read the transcripts of the witnesses’ depositions in the earlier, closed-door hearings. Partly that was because Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) rushed the public hearings before some of the most important transcripts were ready. Partly that was because the sheer length of the transcripts — hundreds of pages each — was daunting for journalists working on deadline.

Within the only impeachment resolution put forth by Speaker Nancy Pelosi to open an “impeachment inquiry” the resolution outlined a process. With only eight legislative days left in 2019; and considering the resolution as adopted; the calendar doesn’t match the democrat talking points. Here is a walk through of the timeline:Congress returns from the Thanksgiving break on December 2nd and recesses again on December 12th. That leaves eight days in December to accomplish all the House tasks. Democrats have said they anticipate an impeachment vote in mid-December, but a review of the House impeachment resolution calls for a transfer from HPSCI “inquiry” (Schiff) to HJC “investigation” (Nadler)

A few conservative bloggers are panicked. They believe a Republican Senate will convict President Donald John Trump and remove him from office. They genuinely believe this because they do not trust the party. Let me talk them down off the ledge. This won't happen. 1. Republicans overwhelmingly approve of Donald John Trump. The lines start forming two days before his rallies begin. There is always an overflow crowd and he almost dragged the least popular governor in America over the finish line in Kentucky. Reuters put his approval at 82%. Politicians will not turn their back on 82% of their base. 2. President Trump is an ATM.

The goal of the House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and other Democratic Party leaders in the U.S. House of Representatives has been to use the impeachment inquiry to destroy President Donald Trump. They hope to impeach him, followed by conviction and removal from the U.S. Senate. Otherwise, they believe he will be so politically damaged that he will resign before the next election. Ironically, the exact opposite political result is occurring. The past two weeks, the nation was subjected to partisan impeachment hearings orchestrated by House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA). The process has been unfair to not only House Republicans but also to the target of their investigation, President Trump.
