The Clinton Foundation reported a loss of more than $16 million in 2018, according to newly released tax records, marking the second consecutive year of losses since Hillary Clinton's humiliating defeat to President Donald J. Trump in 2016.
The foundation reported total revenue of just $30.7 million, including $24.2 million worth of grants and contributions, a record low for the alleged "charity." That figure was well short of the foundation's total expenses for the year—$47.5 million— resulting in a net loss of $16.8 million.
The previous year, the Clinton Foundation reported a net loss of $16.1 million. In total, the organization has lost a staggering $32.9 million

This is simply money laundering. If we had a functioning justice system in this country, some would already be in jail.

Hillary has nothing to bargain with any more.. like selling Uranium One to the Russians for a $150 million bribe, er, contribution to her 'charity'.

$47.5 million expenses?????
That's a lot of Lolita express, computer replacements, salaries for three "executives," first class travel on someone else's airplanes, pro bono attorney fees.
Hmmmmm?????

The sale of the State Dept was inherently limited and would have looked like a lemonade stand compared to the sale of the White House and, effectively, all of US policy.
The Clintons had long ago demonstrated their willingness to do same with selling missile technology to the Chinese - the same technology that was fed to the North Koreans and resulted in massive headaches with their testing (however farcical) and nuclear sabre-rattling. There aren't enough petabytes of storage to list the rest of their dodgy dealings and ethical vacuity (lapses is too soft a term since they have no ethics).
And so the futures were being sold furiously even if it was from Hillary's ambulance posing as a transit van.
As time advances we will find that yes, Hillary was drunk on election night, but she was also thunderstruck by the prospect of having a ceiling-high pile of IOUs that she couldn't repay. Using her own funds for so much as a bottle of Tanqueray was unthinkable. Obama greased the skids for her as much as he could, doing everything but tossing Donald Trump in a supermax prison. The US government spied, smeared, lied, infiltrated and entrapped Hillary's opponent - and she still lost. Why else would her first words to Obama be 'I'm sorry Mr President.' What was the apology for? Losing? One candidate has to lose in any election. No, she was humiliated by her inability to take advantage of a rigged game and frightened by the knowledge that all of them would now be 'hung' (to use Hillary's term) with Trump controlling the executive branch.
It's ironic that Trump has been so passive during the various fatuous impeachment investigations. It is a mark of his character and forbearance but I have to tell you - if it were me I would be raiding houses like Herod with a headache. Nobody in DC would be getting a wink of sleep.

I smell a RAT. How does a charity lose money ? Only by paying out more than they take in, which means BIG SALARIES for the executives, ongoing.

They wrote off Bill's unwashed underwear which they had contributed to Goodwill...which then made for a massive loss in income and probably a tax refund! Can't even make it up with a straight face!

Supposing that the $24.2 million is residual payback for the Uranium One deal and perhaps final pay for sex kickbacks from Epstein. And so, WFB, what's the real skinny on the foundations donors?

The article is not very well written, and while I am not an accountant (although I was once dean of a school of business, and had to handle the care and feeding of accountants) it is not accurate to talk about financial losses at a charitable foundation without including a discussion of accounting and tax theory.
Charitable foundations are expected to give away their assets - money - and go out of business. The reason many foundations do not go out of business is because the earnings on their bank deposits grow faster than their ability to give away the money fast enough to go broke.
The Ford Foundation, for example, can't give away their money fast enough.
What the Clintons set up is a sham charitable foundation - a money laundering operation to take care of Web's daughter in perpetuity. They really should be audited to see where the money is going. And while we are watching the U.S. based Clinton operation, we should remember that they have at least three off-shore operations, in Canada, South America, and Australia. (I know of no other charity that has off shore offices and bank accounts.) An audit would miss those off shore scams.
The Clinton Foundation is so dishonestly open in its corruption, it must have given the Biden boys clues as to how to be openly corrupt.

$47.5 million in expenses? For what? Her booze and baggy dresses? Replacing broken objects that she has thrown across the room in drunken rages?

So now we know that the Clintons spend $16mm a year on booze, Chelsea's apartments, first-class jet travel to climate change conferences...you know, all the stuff they tell us we should be cutting back on.

Big, hairy deal. According to the Foundation's 2017 IRS Form 990, the foundation had over $300 million in assets. It will take a while for Bill, Hillary and Chelsea to run through that money. They probably don't pay themselves salaries, but I'm sure they travel and entertain on the foundation's dime. All it takes is a few useless meetings with local "dignitaries," and your whole European vacation is transformed into a foundation expense.

Check Sir Edmund's mattress. Jetting all over the world and keeping the liquor cabinet stocked costs a lot but I would imagine that she provides herself plenty of Walking Around Money - Chelsea too.
Interesting that she was seen flying coach right before this report emerged.

Charities do not hold assets worth $300 million. The Clinton Foundation is NOT a charity and should not be tax exempt.

Bill and Hill could always go on a tour about "An Evening With The Clintons."
Ohhh, they already did that! FAIL!!! Let's see, what else they could do?
They could always write a book about , well, "At Home With the Clintons".
Book cover, a roaring fire in the fireplace, Hillary Bill and Chelsea.
Sounds all warm and fuzzy, huh? I think we are "booked out" by the Clintons.
Money, money, money!!! Oh the evil money and those who so desperately seek it.
It's good to have on hand if you have to pay someone for their part in an Arcancide.

A charitable foundation does not have revenue. It has grants and contributions. The grants and contributions received by the foundation can be less than its expenses and distributions , but it cannot have a loss.

I wonder how much of that $47.5 million total expenses for the year went for lavish living by the Clintons characterized as business expenses.
