Flynn attorney demands FBI search

Michael Flynn's lawyer on Monday demanded in a court filing that the FBI thoroughly search its internal "Sentinel database" and turn over "every" document in which agents described their critical January 2017 White House interview with the former national security adviser, after it emerged last month that FBI officials had apparently manipulated the so-called "302" witness report in the case weeks after the interview. Flynn's attorney, Sidney Powell, also asserted that separate handwritten notes from the interview drafted by since-fired FBI agent Peter Strzok and another agent are plainly inconsistent

Simple question. Has the FBI never heard of a tape recorder? Why are they operating in the 19th century? They use cell phones, so why the aversion to taperecorders?

Things are not looking so good for the love birds. I can not imagine how someone could tamper with investigation documents thinking that they will get away with it. I truly think that many will be going to prison. If they (deep state) gets away with this and many other things without consequences then we are all doomed. They honestly thought that they could get rid of President Trump one way or another. If not before the election, then after the election. I truly believe that they thought they could get away with it because the one responsible for this (Obama) would make sure that all this would be covered up and go away.

We now know the FBI composes their 302's to frame their targets. FBI 302's should no longer be accepted in the courtroom.

In a perfect world, I don't see how this Flynn event would not end in him being compensated for many illegalities by the Justice dept. Who would pay for this? Certainly not the Justice officials.

I am saddened by what our country has become. The level of rot is staggering. I proudly raised my hand swearing on my life that I would defend our country no matter the risk. They, the politicians stabbed us the back (VN) and when I came back to the world it was an enormous psychological shock. It has only gotten worse. President Trump is the only president that has shown true love for our country and respect for its citizens. How could something so beautiful turn into something so ugly in such a relatively short time? Today we have men and women defending our country upholding the same oath. It truly saddens me. We have President Trump but only for a shorty few years leaving us so close to the edge that another Obama could easily take us over the edge. Prazy.

#1, a tape recorder is SO inconvenient when you are "shaping the narrative". So difficult to twist the words, rearrange them, invent them, erase them when they are recorded. IMO, that FBI interview are not recorded is an intentional move, a total scandal. It permits and supports the FBI corruption and fraud.

Lefty Pundits to Democratic

What is it that lefty pundits can see that Democratic presidential candidates -- with all their highly-paid teams of election experts -- can't? How to win an election, apparently. Over on the far left, New York magazine's Jonathan Chait writes that the latest battleground states poll shows that Democrats are living "in a fantasy world." Chait starts off praising the Democratic 2018 House contenders for wading "into hostile territory" to flip 40 House districts, using a "formula centered on narrowing their target profile by avoiding controversial positions, and focusing obsessively on Republican weaknesses." Party affiliation aside, Chait is right -- that's how you flip seats,

The notion that the Ukraine “whistleblower” is somehow entitled to anonymity was probably first peddled by the Flat Earth Society. It is a myth and demonstrably so. It is understandable why unscrupulous Democrats like Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., have perpetuated the canard. As chairman of the House Intelligence Committee – which is presiding over the current impeachment “witch hunt” – Schiff is determined to conceal his own involvement with the faux “whistleblower” and his subsequent deceit about those machinations. But it is incomprehensible why most of the media have failed to expose the hoax. Likely driven by their abiding liberal bias and pervasive laziness, they have simply accepted as scripture

Former President Bill Clinton’s accusers still want justice, they told the Daily Caller News Foundation after reporter Ronan Farrow said on Nov. 1 that the former president was “credibly accused of rape.” Farrow wrote the book “Catch and Kill: Lies, Spies and a Conspiracy to Protect Predators,” which is about NBC News’s alleged attempts to silence his reporting surrounding sexual assault allegations against disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein. He spoke on CBS’s “Real Time with Bill Maher” on Nov. 1 and said Clinton’s alleged victim Juanita Broaddrick “credibly” accused the former president of rape and that the accusation was “overdue for revisiting.”

It’s been two decades, but I still remember the excitement of helping to pass California’s Proposition 227, which I thought would rescue Spanish-speaking kids from an education ghetto of frustration and failure. It was an uphill battle. We fought an education bureaucracy including California’s powerful teachers’ unions, book publishers who received lucrative government contracts, and even Jerry Perenchio, the late Republican billionaire CEO of Univision, who donated $1.5 million to the efforts to maintain California’s “bilingual” education system. We won. Sixty-one percent of Californians were ready for a change.

John Durham may be the most consequential and least known figure in Washington right now. In May, U.S. attorney general William Barr selected Durham, a longtime prosecutor with a résumé so sterling it nearly glows, to investigate the origins of the special counsel’s probe into Russian interference in the 2016 election, and whether it was properly predicated. Some Trump fans believe there was a vast effort by a “deep state” of high-ranking intelligence and law-enforcement officials to smear Trump or hinder his campaign by creating a perception of corrupt ties to Russia. In late October, the New York Times quoted unnamed sources who said that Durham’s probe

It is painful to take issue with my blessed friend Peggy Noonan, and also painful to read both that she has effectively joined the disreputable impeachers of Donald Trump and has invoked a disingenuous argument in support of that position. Writing in the Wall Street Journal on November 2, she asserted that it is clear President Trump used his office to ask the president of Ukraine to destroy Joe Biden politically and that he used U.S. financial assistance to Ukraine as an incentive, and the withholding of it as a threat to incite such activity. And she wrote that the only remaining argument is whether that constitutes an article of impeachment

Investigative journalist Ronan Farrow, whose work helped to bring down serial sexual abuser Harvey Weinstein, says that Juanita Broaddrick's accusation of rape against former President Bill Clinton is "overdue for revisiting." Appearing on Bill Maher's Real Time on HBO Friday night, Farrow said that Clinton was "credibly accused of rape" by Broaddrick, who claimed in 1999 that Clinton raped her in a motel room in Arkansas in 1978. Clinton was the state attorney general at the time. Farrow added, "I’m heartened by the fact that people now routinely express outrage about Bill Clinton, and particularly those more serious allegations about him." It's a long list of allegations --

When I was a kid growing up in New York, California beckoned as an idyllic place of beaches, wine, wildflowers, and beautiful people. It was the land of “good vibrations,” “surfer girls,” and little “deuce coupes.” I distinctly recall watching the Rose Parade from a cold couch in the winter of 1978, wondering where on Earth they had gotten all those flowers. Years later, after driving cross country in my 1992 Suzuki Samurai, I sat atop a sand dune in Malibu and thought I had reached paradise. I took in the natural wonders of California like air: Yosemite, Joshua Tree, Redwood Park, Death Valley, Half Dome, Monterey, Napa, China Beach.

The Trump administration notified the United Nations on Monday that it will formally withdraw the US from the Paris Agreement, marking the first step in a one-year process to exit the global pact to fight climate change. The move would leave the US as the only country outside the accord, a decision President Trump promised early in his term to unfetter America’s domestic oil, gas and coal industries. “What we won’t do is punish the American people while enriching foreign polluters,” Trump said at a shale gas industry conference in Pennsylvania on Oct. 23, referring to his planned withdrawal from the agreement.

It is an article of faith among political analysts that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is a master strategist, and indeed her career is studded with significant accomplishments. The second is not reining in the so-called Squad, or the four female freshmen Democrats whose extreme progressive voices have helped push the Democrat party to the left, alienating much of the country. Joe Biden is out pulling rank. In response to a little priest in South Carolina denying him Holy Communion for advocating pro-abortion positions inconsistent with Church teaching, the former vice president and Democratic Party presidential frontrunner made it clear he didn't deal with pipsqueaks. Asked about the incident, Lifesite News reported Biden's response: “It’s not a position that I’ve found anywhere else, including from the Holy Father, who gives me Communion.” So instead of thinking about the priest's position and offering some kind of contemplative thought, Biden declared it was all O.K. to be advocating for abortion from his position,

Sea level rise is set to challenge human civilization for centuries to come, even if internationally agreed climate goals are met and planet-warming emissions are then immediately eliminated, researchers have found. The lag time between rising global temperatures and the knock-on impact of coastal inundation means that the world will be dealing with ever-rising sea levels into the 2300s, regardless of prompt action to address the climate crisis, according to the new study. Even if governments meet their commitments from the landmark 2015 Paris climate agreement, the first 15-year period of the deal will still result in enough emissions
