Gulf News reports that Subhash Yadav, 42, died after attempting to eat 50 eggs in the Jaunpur district of Uttar Pradesh, India on Monday. According to police, Yadav and a friend were at the Bibiganj market getting a bite to eat when the two began to argue. The subject of their conflict is unknown, but it somehow escalated into Yadav betting his companion 2,000 rupees (a little over $28) that he could down 50 eggs there and then. The duo purchased 50 hard-boiled eggs from a vendor and Yadav set to it. He was making good time up until his 41st egg.


Am I wrong to be laughing at this article? There's the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating contest on July 4th in Brooklyn. Lawsuits waiting to happen? Bueller?

Once worked with a professional from India who told me that many people there were obsessed with being in the guinness world records. They would do all sorts of things like longest beard, or finger nails or whatever. This may be one of those efforts.

The network claims Robach's original reporting did not meet editorial standards and could not be verified. Anchor Amy Robach claims this clip was simply due to a "private moment of frustration." Hillsboro, MO - One Missouri sheriff’s department has seen the ranks of its deputy dads grow, as 17 law enforcement officers welcomed babies this year. Fourteen of the 17 law enforcement dads, their wives and their babies gathered Monday at Sandy Creek Covered Bridge in Jefferson County for photos, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported. The babies were dressed in matching white onesies with deputy badges printed on them and brown pants and accessories. The two newest babies were just 10 days old. “It’s important that we support our families,” Sheriff Dave Marshak said. “For us, this is good.”

YouTube terminated former Trump administration official Sebastian Gorka's account for multiple copyright violations earlier this week after he ignored multiple requests to stop using the Imagine Dragons song "Radioactive" as an introduction to his show "America First," according to a report from Will Sommer at The Daily Beast.
