President Donald Trump's low-profile appearance Sunday night at Game 5 of the World Series came at a high-profile moment of his presidency - yet he still drew loud boos and chants of 'lock him up'. Wearing a dark suit and a tie, Trump arrived at Nationals Park just before the first pitch of the Houston Astros-Washington Nationals match-up. Hours earlier, he had announced that U.S. forces had hit the hiding place of Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, who was killed in the raid in northeast Syria. A military success against a most-wanted enemy of the U.S. and its allies could have provided the president a rare moment of bipartisan comity,

Comments:

It was no secret that President Trump would follow "tradition" by showing up at this World Series game. This obviously gave the fascist socialist trolls in our society to prepare to embarrass him and our Country worldwide by their despicable actions. Don't doubt for a minute that this wasn't part of some plan by the dRATS infanticide party.

On the "lighter" side, there's this:

There is no doubt by going to that baseball game in DC, that President Trump was walking into the deep recesses of the DC political UniParty, and the DC administrative Deep State, that consists of the majority of federal government politicians and federal bureaucrats who operate within the DC beltway, that is a completely different place with very different personal interests then the rest of America where the real people who make the country run reside. Since it was public that the President would be attending that baseball game, it gave the UniParty and Deep State time to prepare, so the boos and anti-Trump comments and yelling were bound to occur. After all Trump will always be considered to be an “outsider” threat to those entrenched inside the beltway DC special interests.

He should jump on Air Force One, head to Houston and throw out the first pitch for game 6. I would love to see the difference in receptions. I am sure there are some great fans in Washington who were embarrassed by the actions of all of the gummint types in the stands, but methinks that whole thing might have cemented victory for the Astros. I hope DJT finds the clear-out valve on that whole sewer-line of a town.

For so long, I was always worried what people thought of me whether it was family or friends or whatever. In the last few months of my Bible readings, I have come to understand that it is more important what God thinks of me. When I read that, all I could say is "wow" and it has changed my perspective on so many things. President Trump: it is more important what God thinks of you rather than these people who don't have one ounce of humility in them.
