In Texas, a jury ruled against a father who was trying to prevent one of his sons from undergoing a “gender transition” process, according to the Daily Wire.
Eleven of the twelve jurors ruled against Jeffrey Younger as he was trying to gain sole custody of his twin sons from his ex-wife Anne Georgulas, who is trying to force one of the boys, James, to take puberty blockers.
As a result of the ruling, the father will be forced to agree to the boy’s new “gender identity,” including his female name Luna. Speaking on a podcast after the ruling,

The Daily Wire article [linked] is more informative.
False eyelashes, makeup, chemical castration... the kid is seven years old.
Thinking back how much fun it was being seven, 56 years ago.
Haven't prayed in over 20 years but I might start. This poor kid is in for some rough sledding.

Whether this child wants to transition or doesn't want to transition, regardless of what either parent wants, no one should be allowed to make this decision for a young child. Just think of all the things you are not allowed to do until you reach a certain age: drink, drive, enlist, vote, take out a loan, etc. How could you possibly allow a child to decide something that will affect him for the rest of his life. Shame on that jury, and shame on anyone who thinks this is ok. This makes me feel sick. This child is a pawn in some divorce mess. The mother really sounds like a nut and I'm not sure why the jury would decide as they did.

Filling in the blanks in the most sympathetic way I can to the mother's position I can only get this far:
When with mom the boy tells mom what she wants to hear. When with dad he tells dad what he wants to hear. That doesn't add up to reversing nature at 7 years old. As the dad I'd be inclined to perform a little reassignment surgery on male members (oh that works) of the jury.
Is this what they call "progress?" They can have it, we were better off in the cave.

It appears trial by jury in leftist urban environs might not be such a good move. Let's hope this father starts a GoFundMe account to pay for the multiple appeal trials to the Supreme Court. Perhaps by the time it gets there the kid will repent of his psychotic intent, or his "mother" will run out of money.

All of this crazy multiple pronouns and transgender crap started with Obama. Maybe because Moochelle is actually Michael? Who knows? He did call her Michael several times while speaking to the military. Thanks Obama. You transformed America alright. Thank God we have someone who is attempting to move back toward normal, but it won't help in this case. The father needs to appeal and keep appealing all the way to the SCOTUS. He probably needs donations to help with that.

Chemically castrating a seven-year-old boy is abuse beyond measure, in my opinion. No seven-year-old is prepared to deal with the consequences of such an action. Hell, most seven-year-olds have a hard time dealing with a parent's insistence that he/she eats his/her vegetables at supper time. There is no way that a child is capable of coping with such a body-altering decision with so many psycho-social results.
What if it turns out the child wants a child of his/her own when he/she reaches maturity? It ain't gonna happen with chemical castration; the kid can never be a father biologically. And chemical castration doesn't make ovaries, so the kid cannot become a mother either.
I feel bad for the kid. Let him make a decision to change when he is an adult. I feel bad for the dad. He has to witness this abuse and is powerless to do anything about it now that the court has ruled -- unless an appeal saves him. And I pity the mom. She is an idiot. And, whether she realizes it or not, she is as mean as a snake for allowing this to occur. What a dirty, moldy soul she has!

I will paraphrase what I read. Mother and Father are in custody dispute. She is a doctor. Don’t recall what type of doctor. When the boy is with her, she calls him Luna and he is dressed in girl’s clothes. When he is with Father, he is said to not want to dress as a girl.
The hormones and all that would wait, according to the Mother, until he is reaching puberty. About 11 years of age.
Why they would want this boy with that woman defies logic. Unless Dad is something awful. But in a succession of three articles on this, from link, to link, to link, he doesn’t see to be.
From the LifeSite article, which seems to have the most detail (my following links backward eventually got me there):
Dr. Georgulas testified today James and Jude are not actually biologically related to her. They were created through in-vitro fertilization and the couple used an egg donor.
Mother seems to be a psychologist. This boy is one of twins from separate eggs, each from a separate donor.

Do not see in the article where this took place. Considering the jury verdict I would hazard a guess that it is in the Austin area. Mother sounds like a vindictive shrew trying to mess up her ex-husbands and both sons lives. She needs a mental evaluation to determine whether she has the ability to make decisions about her sons future. Whack job!

Progressives scream if the Court wants to chemically castrate a pedophile, but are okay with giving a 7 year old hormones to prevent him from developing naturally. This is just insane. I hope the dad will fight this. The mom has definitely gone round the bend and intends to put her young son through hell. My goodness, this is just plain evil.

This is an example of where taking the child and leaving the jurisdiction of the courts is the right thing to do. Be that moving to another state or another country, you are saving the child's sanity, at least probably. Keeping "the state" (or anyone, actually) from harming your children should be a parent's highest calling.

So now some crack-brained jury rules that Mr. Younger will be forced to agree with his eight-year-old son´s new "gender identity." No jury, judge, or elected official can force anyone to agree with anything since Americans still have freedom of thought -- for the time being. The mother should be confined to a mental institution.
This is evil, reckless, and downright nutty.
