Beto O'Rourke Announces Support for
Menstrual Equity Act on National Period Day

Original Article

Posted By: Hazymac, 10/19/2019 6:15:38 PM

Not to be outdone by Cory Booker's "women are people" moment in the last debate, Beto O'Rourke decided to virtue signal his pro-woman accolades on Saturday by tweeting that "women across America don’t have access to the period products they need," and since it is #NationalPeriodDay (who knew that was a thing?), that "men need to join women in demanding real change." Beto wants "real change" and identifies as a man for the moment (at least until he needs a Hail Mary for his campaign) and he's announced his support for the Menstrual Equity Act. (Snip) And yes, it appears that the Menstrual Equity Act is a real thing.

Comments:

Men don't menstruate! Beto is the Compleat Bleeping Idiot.

Someone who really gives a #### can contact Beto on behalf of the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Women's Division and inform him of the actual truth of the matter. My only real knowledge of supplying women's prisons is on the state level. The kind answer would be that Beto is completely uninformed. #5, a Natioinal ED Day would be a boner. There was a common expression used by men in the 1940s, where the phrase used to explain peculiar behavior was 'she's on the rag.' Rags were commonly used for menstrual flow, back in the day. Kotex and tampons are relatively new products, historically speaking.

By that criteria, many in the scientific community are losing their sanity...

In his phone call with Ukraine’s President Zelensky, President Trump asked for a favor. The favor was not, as was widely reported at the time, to investigate Joe Biden. Rather, the favor was for Zelensky’s government to investigate Ukrainian interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election: (Snip) There is a certain irony here: for three years, we have been told that investigating foreign interference in the 2016 election is of paramount importance. Now, it apparently is an impeachable offense. Events on the Turkish-Syrian border revealed how fragile the security arrangements of the last century have become. The Kurdish crisis rapidly became a Turkish/NATO one as Ankara's offensive penetrated deeper than expected, precipitating a potential rupture with the U.S. and some European countries. The administration responded to the invasion by threatening targeted sanctions against Turkey in coordination with Congress. The NATO dimension was underscored by a New York Times report that "over the weekend, State and Energy Department officials were quietly reviewing plans for evacuating roughly 50 tactical nuclear weapons that the United States had long stored, under American control, at Incirlik Air Base."

Unlike most states, Texas requires public school students to study Texas history in the 4th and 7th grades. Texas history is red in tooth and claw and full of big personalities and big ideas. Standardized testing is forcing teachers to drop about half of the second semester of Texas history to focus on U.S. history -- not to deepen students' understanding of American history, but to teach to the standardized tests. Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) told the Atlantic on Sunday that he believes the Democrats’ impeachment inquiry investigating President Donald Trump will serve as an “inflection point in American history.” Atlantic staff writer McKay Coppins released an interview on Sunday detailing extended conversations with Romney regarding his views on the U.S. Senate, his attacks on President Trump, as well as his opinions on impeachment. Coppins wrote that while most Republicans have backed the president amidst the impeachment inquiry, Romney continues to stay “open to the idea that the president may need to be evicted from the Oval Office.”
