Beto O’Rourke, I do believe, is a psychopath. Let me explain. First, we must admit the evident. O’Rourke, spectacularly privileged by every measure, boasts an unspectacular political career. City councilor, sometime congressman, he offers little of anything notable, at least by way of accomplishment. Except, of course, for himself; jumping earnestly from one platform to another, he is, at the very least, a virtuoso opportunist, a character trait he likely imbibed in utero. Failed, though, as a candidate for the Senate (we Texans might be right-wingers, but we are not dumb), he will soon undoubtedly be a double political failure. Polling just under 2%,

Reading this article was a waste of time, as O’Rourke will never be the leftist and liberal Democrat’s candidate for President, so who cares what O’Rourke does, or says, or an opinion of O’Rourke’s suspected psychological profile that could fit a lot of Democrat socialist functionaries, as he is just a distraction to hype up the potential away out there far left vote.

In the El Paso shooting, the crazy shooter first called the FBI hotline. And the FBI failed the American people, once again. In the Houston shooting, the black woman pointed a loaded pistol at the police officers. What were they supposed to do? Surrender??

I believe the part about the psychopath. I suspect he has driven his wife to a pill addiction just to survive each day. The one time she was seen in public, I thought she was like the Stepford wives, mind numbed robots. Twitchy Captain Skateboard just needs to go away permanently. Between him and Mayor Pete, those two both have the bigotry covered, be it against Christians, or gun owners.

No doubt he is garnering more votes for Trump than himself. He may be an intellectual/philosophical psychopath, in a non-clinical sense, but he definitely appears to be a narcissist, in the clinical sense.

I don't get it. I assume this writer is a Catholic since he's the pastoral administrator for a supposedly Catholic organization (since it is called a "community I am not sure if it is a legitimate Roman Catholic church) blasting Trump who is the one person who will make sure the "community" keeps its tax exempt status. While he picks on Beto, is he too ignorant or childish to realize that what Beto says is the same thing the other democrats think but have sense enough to keep silent about until the time comes)?

Earlier posters picked up on the schizo nature of this disingenuous article. I'll just add that serving up marginal psychopath Norman Mailer as a bedrock of truth is an odd choice. If he didn't already have a long history of unusual unpleasantness -- he did -- Mailer was perhaps the first to champion the destruction of the Twin Towers on 9/11, what with them being symbols to all New Yorkers of what they can't be and all.

Who exactly are the “Resistance,” as explored in Kim Strassel’s new book “Resistance (At All Costs): How Trump Haters are Breaking America”? How are “Trump haters” different from “Trump critics?” How is the Resistance different from past political movements? What are the long-term implications of its activities? And how are the media involved? And, how can the Trump “impeachment inquiry” be seen as the latest chapter of the Resistance’s efforts?

The #MeToo movement has ended the U.S. career of legendary 78-year-old Spanish tenor Placido Domingo, one of classical music’s greatest ambassadors and impresarios. For nearly half a century, Domingo’s intense stage presence and warm, soaring voice captivated opera audiences; during the 1990s, he reached millions of new listeners as a member of the itinerant Three Tenors. In recent years, long after most singers have retired from the stage, he has continued a grueling international performance schedule, now singing baritone roles with remarkable pitch control and legato. Domingo’s entrepreneurial drive has been as untiring as his stage career. He was pivotal in creating Los Angeles’s first full-time opera company, LA Opera,

Dallas County probate court Judge Brenda Hull Thompson signed the order Friday afternoon. It grants Marquis Jefferson “full authority to make arrangements for the funeral and burial.” The order also sets a hearing Monday morning to determine whether the restraining order should be continued. When it comes to winning games and solving puzzles, sometimes monkeys play smarter than humans. Monkeys may show off their physical flexibility as they clamber over tangled tree branches, but the animals also display impressive "cognitive flexibility," or the ability to quickly change how they think about, and work to solve, a problem. Whereas monkeys can think on their feet, humans often become set in their ways and cling to inefficient strategies for problem solving, according to new research. "We are a unique species and have various ways in which we are exceptionally different from every other creature on the planet. But we're also sometimes really dumb," study co-author Julia Watzek,

Apparently when you weigh two-and-a-half tons, carry a head like a viking anvil and boast a top speed of 30 mph, no one rounds you up until you damn well feel like it. That kind of zero-sum, survival-of-the-fittest mentality built the state of South Dakota, and it still dominates the annual autumn roundup of the state’s largest buffalo herd, a prime tourist attraction. Senator Elizabeth Warren’s refusal to answer repeated questions at last night’s debate about how she would fund Medicare for all underscores the challenge she faces finding a politically acceptable means to meet the idea’s huge price tag—a challenge that only intensified today with the release of an eye-popping new study. The Urban Institute, a center-left think tank highly respected among Democrats, is projecting that a plan similar to what Warren and Senator Bernie Sanders are pushing would require $34 trillion in additional federal spending over its first decade in operation. That’s more than the federal government’s total cost over the coming decade for Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid combined,
