and sexual abuse may be
even worse than anyone thought

As it turns out, NBC's investigation of NBC showing there is no evidence of a “culture of sexual harassment” at NBC may not have been so thorough as the network would have you believe.
MSNBC president Phil Griffin, for example, grew so comfortable in whatever culture produced disgraced former host Matt Lauer that he once touted photos of NBC star Maria Menounos’ vagina during a meeting with colleagues, according to journalist Ronan Farrow.
Farrow reports in his forthcoming book, Catch & Kill:
Four colleagues said Griffin was known for making lewd or crass remarks in work emails. In one meeting I'd be in after the television personality Maria Menounos's vagina had been photographed

Many of us have observed these internal investigations. An NBC hires a law firm to do an internal investigation, paying the law firm's fee, and surprise, the law firm finds NBC hasn't done anything wrong. Really? The entire process has no independence or objectivity, and the investigation is a charade, a coverup to make the issue go away. The NBC type knows it is a coverup, and that we know it, but no one is going to do anything about it, and the issue gets swept away, goal accomplished.

At least they used 'thought' instead of 'guessed' in the article headline. A lot of people guessed it was worse yet, than reported, and even they may be surprised.

Questionable journalism and knowledge of anatomy here. Unless, this guy had a borescope, I don't know how he would get said picture...

"Worse than anyone thought"? Not this anyone; not me! And, I'll bet most of my fellow L-dotters knew it was worse too. How many times do we have to write this same script?
Leftists are pure evil. They twist their evil as good and point the finger at others, but they're big freakin' hypocrites, who are far worse than the people they accuse.

Mia's son has turned out to be a much better journalist than Chris Wallace ever will be. After the life Ronan lived as a kid during her Woody Allen years, I am sure that has had something to do with his firm stands on abuse of all kinds. I am close to considering him an actual journalist, like during the era of Murrow. Keep it up young man, you are going places.

“If your boss does that, what are you gonna say?” said Wallace, who clarified that her sexual interactions with Lack were consensual. “You know if you say ‘I don’t want to celebrate with you,’ you’re asking for trouble.”!!!!!
I think these men got away with this for so long partly due to the desperation of women who wanted to succeed in this sleazy industry. If NBC headquarters had been located in Texas I honestly believe that some woman might have pulled a gun out of her purse and told him to back off....or her boyfriend would have had an intense conversation with the guy.
The way an abuser has success is by convincing the abused to share their shame and keep their secret!

It's the Harvey Weinstein scenario all over again. The pressure in this industry must be intense.

I fail to understand all the supposed excitement about a picture of some womans vagina. Are these grown up men or pubescent boys? They must have been in heaven during the womans march, with all of those vagina outfits. If this is an example of the leadership at NBC, it's no wonder news reporting is in the crapper!

It's so sad these NBC execs have to retire and only live on a paltry >100 million dollars in bonuses and savings.
If they didn't already have homes in Martha's Vineyard it would be difficult to buy one today.
Criminal and immoral behavior by the left is never punished in any significant way.

Absolutely nothing that NBC did would surprise me.
I understood their fundamental corruption and lying when they were "proving" how dangerous a particular pickup truck was by staging a crash, where the fuel tank burst and the truck turned into a flaming disaster.
It turned out that NBC had rigged the gas tank with fireworks to ignite it, and the whole "report" was a total sham.
I have entirely distrusted NBC since then, and that was likely 30-35 years ago.
