It was Russia. Ask Senate Republicans.

A new report by the Republican-led Senate Intelligence Committee reaffirms what the White House refuses to accept: Russia intervened in the 2016 election to help then-candidate Donald Trump and to hurt his presidential rivals. The findings are alarming for the breadth of Russia’s operation, the Kremlin’s direct involvement and the ongoing threat posed by foreign meddling to American democracy. But perhaps more than anything, the report amounts to a bipartisan rebuke of the White House’s own disinformation campaign to shift the blame away from Russia. The committee, chaired by Sen. Richard Burr, R-N.C., released a second report this week that furthered the findings of America’s intelligence community

The media keeps with the Russia, Russia, Russia thing----NEVER providing one scrap of evidence. By the way, the Democrats interfere in every election everywhere, and so does their political PAC's and NGOs. I done with it. The media has nothing but hate Trump everyday, every minute. Be gone!

This just doesn't compute. Why would Russia prefer Trump over Hillary's RESET button? Clearly, Hillary would treat Russia better than Trump and if the Russians didn't realize this, they have their collective heads buried in the sand.

Meanwhile, everyday feels more and more like we are not fighting a "cold-civil-war" against the Democrats, but against the Chinese. I guess that's what happens when you "win" on the world stage, everyone wants to influence you and fight against each other through you.

#1 is exactly right.
We keep hearing about how Russia "interfered" in our election - - but we never get a single example of exactly what they did. All we're told is that they trolled social media. LOL! There are about 50 million trolls on social media every minute of every day. Why would the Russian trolls be any more mendacious or effective than the millions of others out there?
This was, is, and always will be utter nonsense. And thank you Sen. Burr - - for turning your committee over to the lying demonrats. You're a great "republican"!

Did you notice what they left out?
"“After election day,” one analyst noted, “the Russian government stepped on the gas.” "
Yes, it increased after election day but the target was changed to Trump.
The Tampa rag left that little tid bit out.
Which proved that the Russians weren't supporting Trump, rather they were just trying to sow discontent in the American electoral process. Like they have always tried to do. And they couldn't have gotten more willing dupes in the last three years than the MSM and the Dems.

Every day the enemy puts their hand in a jar and pulls out a printed accusation and offers it up as truth.
What is ahead for them is the REAL truth and I hope to Almighty God it burns them badly.

Russia has tried to interfere and perhaps has interfered in some ways for 75 yrs. And it is also true that other countries including Ukraine has done the same. More importantly, it is very true that George Soros has tried to change the outcomes of many elections in many countries. And he is still trying to undo the 2016 election!
Burr (r) is a snake, lying POS who should never have been on this committee in the first place. He is a treasonous politician. Whatever he puts his name is a lie.

FTA: no single group of Americans was targeted more than African-Americans, the committee found, with two-thirds of all Facebook ads related to race
Well there you go. A good ole North Carolina boy can project his white guilt over to Russia. Did anyone see the evidence of just what these clever Russians did to convince African Americans to not vote for Hillary? Surely they wouldn't waste all that "fortune" on the primary where very few African-Americans were registered.
Also:the debunked conspiracy theory that Ukraine - not Russia - meddled in the election and for Clinton’s benefit?
The Senate Intelligence Committee must not have gotten the memo. Of course you wouldn't want an oversight committee to me more clever with regard to information gathering than the Brennan/Clapper "intelligence" community. When the public information about Ukraine finally reaches Mr. Barr, will he mirror the same look Clapper had when if found out, on live T.V., about the arrests for terror plot in London.

Worthless leftist Democrat rag. Tampa Bay Times is hard left as long as I can remember. Left here in 2005 and returned in 2019 nothing has changed with this Saint Pete Democrat propaganda outlet.

Explain to me how Russia was able to change paper ballots. or from voting machines that were not connected to a network.
Explain to me why Putin would prefer an unpredictable, America First Donald Trump.versus Hillary Clinton, who sold off the nation's uranium reserves to Russia, flubbed the "Russia Re-Set, ran the Pay-to-Play State Dept, and was happy to let Russia annex Crimea and threaten Ukraine.
NFW did Putin favor Trump. Anyone who says so is a filthy liar or a Democrat, or both

Whatever social media buys and fake Twitter accounts the Russians used to try influence the election was rendered irrelevant by the massive misinformation campaign put on by the DNC using the illegal dirt they bought from Steele and his Ukrainian operatives. The US media also ran wall to wall coverage of every unsupported rumor against Trump from anonymous sources they could troll for. How much of this was fed by China or Mexico or a host of other foreign interests behind the scenes? We'll never know. How about the fix the FBI Director Comey pulled to prevent Hillary Clinton from being indicted for violating national security laws with her private email server? Russia was a convenient scapegoat for the incompetence of the Clinton campaign but as a threat to our country it was a joke in comparison to what the Democrat party did and is doing to undermine us.

What the Russians did or did not do in 2016 election had nothing to do with President Trump who was a private citizen at the time. Leading up to the election whatever the Russians did to interfere with the election was done on former President Obama’s watch. Obama ignored that Russian interference until after the election because he thought that Hillary Clinton was going to win. If Clinton had won we would not be hearing anything today about Russian interference. But as soon as Clinton lost Obama and his crew swung into action kicking a number of Russians out of the country and seizing Russian property in the USA.
All countries try to gain influence in US politics and with American politicians if they determine that influence would benefit foreign functionaries individually or would benefit their country. The truth be known Mexico interfered through their Mexican illegal and legal population groups in the USA more than Russia could ever do, as many non-US citizen Mexicans unlawfully voted in the election especially in California and the Southwestern USA after being registered to vote in accordance with the Bill Clinton era Motor-Voter laws. A couple of weeks before the election Obama appeared on UniVision Spanish language TV and encouraged viewers to all vote claiming that after Clinton was elected that they would no longer have to fear being deported or ICE agents coming to arrest them for immigration violations, factors that would only relate to aliens in the USA in violation of the immigration laws, who could not lawfully vote. We have not heard anything more about that since. Give us a break.

Richard Burr. Deep state RINO anti-Trumper. Flush with extreme prejudice. As for the "intelligence community" I think they're a wholly owned subsidiary of the FSB.

Yep, that's the ticket, like Jon Lovett used to say on SNL.
Hillary spent something like $1 Billion on her campaign, but some European bots spend $70K on facebook ads and throw the election. Sure.

I emailed one of my Senators on the border wall. He wrote back (standard letter, no doubt) all nice about how he was for this and that law and order, etc, and how Trump had gotten out of line declaring an emergency and moving funds to fund the wall.
My reply was:
"This is really simple. You either support President Trump or I am going to vote AGAINST YOU the next opportunity I get."
We need to be sending that message again and again to our Repub Congresscritters and Senators. Get on the Trump train or get out of the way and we'll find someone else.

No mention of "how the Russians hacked the DNC and Pedesta". I see the new standard for evidence is, "we could not find evidence that it did not happen so it happened."

You know, if I were the Democrats instead of complaining about the Russian bots whose $70K Facebook ad buy supposedly threw the election to Trump,I wouldn't be complaining about them. I'd be hiring them for my next campaign.
