Did Adam Schiff Just Admit There

Appearing on CBS's Face The Nation Sunday morning, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff essentially conceded that there was no quid pro quo between President Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky by saying "there doesn't need to be a quid pro quo." "We have discovered in short order not only the contents of that call, but also the preparatory work that went into the call. The effort to condition something the Ukrainian president deeply sought, and that was a meeting with the president to establish that this new president of Ukraine had a powerful patron in the president of the United States that was of vital importance to Ukraine,

Cass Sunstein, Barack Obola's 'regulations czar' was on one of the cable shows a couple of days ag, and argued that there was an implicit quid pro contained in DJT's telephone call with President Zelensky of the Ukraine, and therefore, committed an impeachable offense. That is like something out of a work of fiction, where a Russian man is charged with a crime, but no one would tell him what the crime was. (Sunstein married his student who came from Ireland, and became Barack Obola's UN Secretary. She also unmasked a whole bunch of Americans, for no good reason.)

He also seems to be dissolving the “CIA rumorblower”, first saying that “he” would not testify but would submit “letters”; then saying that his testimony might not be needed at all… Things fall apart...

#1, I was just thinking, where is the crime? Previous impeachment efforts have involved actual crimes—perjury, obstruction of justice. The DOJ has already said there is no crime here. Isn’t there also a free speech issue here?

Ok Shifty, I'll agree a quit quo pro is not required for an impeachment but guess what, a crime is. So if it wasn't a quid quo pro what is it? Or do we have to impeach him first to determine why we are impeaching him?

They have absolutely NOTHING. The transcript is clear, and it totally destroys their lying case that they were trying to build up with their false 'whistleblower' baloney. This is a completely corrupt, criminal, false process, based on lies - the President did NOT do what they say he did, and that is PROVEN by the transcript.

Yep. Schiff and the other democrats thought President Trump would not release the transcript, exerting executive privilege. They were shocked and knocked on their heels when President Trump released it. That shot their plan of claiming lies and crimes, which would be defended only by President Trump's denials. Ha! The best laid plans... Now the democrats look even more desperate and ridiculous!

Let me guess, the previous president of Ukraine didn't seek the powerful patron of the United States by placing a call with the previous administration? That the U.S. Ambassador was blocking visa applications to Ukrainians who wanted to travel to the United States and provide information about the corruption? I think it's common courtesy to call on potential allies, unless Rep. bull Schiff thinks otherwise.

NBA superstar LeBron James says Houston Rockets General Manager Daryl Morey was “misinformed” and “wasn’t educated on the situation at hand” when he tweeted in support of Hong Kong’s freedom demonstrations. Morey’s sin was sharing an image of a slogan that read, “Fight for freedom. Stand with Hong Kong.” Even though the GM, regrettably, deleted his tweet, one strongly suspects his grasp of China— where the state is running “re-education” camps filled with Uyghurs—is considerably stronger than any of the NBA’s leading apologists. Only last year, James, a purported champion of social justice, came out in support of former quarterback Colin Kaepernick with the vacuous platitude,

A couple of years ago, a retired teacher who stays in close touch with history teachers across Texas told me something disturbing. Like most states, Texas has standardized testing. Unlike most states, Texas requires public school students to study Texas history in the 4th and 7th grades. Texas history is red in tooth and claw and full of big personalities and big ideas. Standardized testing is forcing teachers to drop about half of the second semester of Texas history to focus on U.S. history -- not to deepen students' understanding of American history, but to teach to the standardized tests. This, according to my friend, shortchanges

A new report by the Republican-led Senate Intelligence Committee reaffirms what the White House refuses to accept: Russia intervened in the 2016 election to help then-candidate Donald Trump and to hurt his presidential rivals. The findings are alarming for the breadth of Russia’s operation, the Kremlin’s direct involvement and the ongoing threat posed by foreign meddling to American democracy. But perhaps more than anything, the report amounts to a bipartisan rebuke of the White House’s own disinformation campaign to shift the blame away from Russia. The committee, chaired by Sen. Richard Burr, R-N.C., released a second report this week that furthered the findings of America’s intelligence community

Going solar isn’t necessarily any protection from California’s new “planned” power outages, and local residents and business are enduring a lot more than just a few inconveniences. Bloomberg’s Chris Martin has a story on California’s troubles with one of my favorite headlines ever: “Californians Learning That Solar Panels Don't Work in Blackouts.” Apparently, many of California’s would-be Earth-savers had no idea that just putting solar panels on their roofs doesn’t mean they’ll have power when PG&E switches it off. As Martin explains: "Most panels are designed to supply power to the grid -- not directly to houses. During the heat of the day, solar systems can crank out

The men and women of science are supposed to be rational, sober professionals. Yet a few hundred have decided to behave as rabble, having been overtaken by global warming hysteria. Reuters reported Saturday that “almost 400 scientists have endorsed a civil disobedience campaign aimed at forcing governments to take rapid action to tackle climate change.” The objective is to warn the rest of us “that failure could inflict ‘incalculable human suffering.’” To say these activist-researchers have broken “with the caution traditionally associated with academia to side with peaceful protesters courting arrest” is almost an understatement. They have chosen to align themselves with the Extinction Rebellion,

The time for President Trump to take action on ANTIFA in labeling the organization an international terrorist organization is long overdue. It is an international terrorist group, since it also operates in many European countries as well as the United Kingdom aside from the US. ANTIFA is only part of a much larger spiderweb of anti-American terrorist groups, all founded and organized by Barack H. Obama and run via the central organization known as Organizing For Action. ANTIFA along with Black Lives Matter, MoveOn.org, the ACLU, and Planned Parenthood, just to name a few are all part of the massive Obama organized and managed sphere of influence,

There are a number of things that climate activists don’t want the rest of us to do, like eating meat and flying on airplanes. They seem to have decided that discouraging flying is a better bet than compulsory vegetarianism, so several European countries are moving in that direction. While President Trump's Ukraine phone call shined a bright light on Joe and Hunter Biden's corruption, the outrage was never about him working for a foreign company. It was about how he got those positions in the first place — with his father's power and status in the U.S. government.
