Shepard Smith was the worst thing on Fox News not because he was an anti-Trump leftist, but because he lied and lied and lied, claiming he was not.
There are plenty of anti-Trump leftists on Fox News, and that’s a good thing. It is also to the eternal credit of Fox that, unlike its competition on the far left — CNN and MSNBC — Fox actually airs a legitimate diversity of opinions on the issues of the day, most especially President Trump.
That was not Shepard Smith. No, rather than come out of the partisan closet,(Snip) he chose to hide like a coward behind a shield of objective truth,

Does not matter. Fox will reload with another pompous phoney.

Hey Shep...Alisyn Camerota called from CNN and said she might be able to arrange an interview. Unfortunately it won't be any near the sweet salary you enjoyed at FOX because we just don't have as many viewers as FOX.
Good-bye and don't let the door hit you on your rear end on your way out the door

Beautiful takedown of Shemp. I hope Mr. Smith repents before it's too late.

Time to also DROP Juan, Brazile, Harf, Napational, Wallace etc. About time that us Conservatives have our own show giving the Conservative view ONLY. All the alphabet channels ABCCBSCNNNBCMSNBC etc. have by far a larger audience than cable and that is enough. I've had it with the left leaning lopsided Whiny Liberal, Loser channels......Mick

Happy to have him gone, but Paul Ryan will find someone who is likely farther left and a bigger NeverTrumper jerk.

In Fox's early days, Shepard Smith was a different reporter. I liked him mostly because he reminded me of my late youngest brother. Yes, Smith evolved into an anti-almost everything conservative, but it's a shame too many of us think Fox News is supposed to be "ours" entirely. It's still the best available, the only one presenting any balance at all and offering a good batch of conservative talkers.
We can handle it, friends.

Amen #8. My words exactly (about Fox, not Shep).

Fox is surely on the hunt for a liberal man who wears makeup as we speak.
I've been done with Fox ever since they went all in to knock out Trump in their republican primary debate.

Stopped watching Fox News years ago..I can get enough political opinion from the Internet. The ONLY place to find real news is to go search it out on the Internet..TV is for entertainment, not for news.

FNC’s only programs worth watching are Greg Gutfield, Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity, with a desperate hope that Sean stop talking and interrupting so that his guests can speak. Have little use for the rest of FNC’s talking heads and their left wing guests.

Many times the enablers are worse than the perps. This is such a case about journalistic truth (or lack of it). As many have said - good riddance. Go to the View. You will belong!

Sheppy jumpbed the shark with his asinine Katrina coverage - blaming Bush when the first responders, a Demtard mayor and Demtard governor did NOTHING.

I really couldn't care less if this dude is there or not. Well I could care less but I would have to try and he's not worth that much effort.

Haven't watched him in years, so I won't miss him. He needs to consult with Meghan Kelly and Gretchen Carlson about how to make the transition to a more liberal network.

Shep's lack of objectivity first showed (to me) during the Event Horizon. His personal attacks on BP and the folks who owned the oil rig were continuously over the top. After that, it was easy to see the partisanship in almost everything he "reported on". Good riddance!

I don't consider Fox News to be "our" news outlet but in a sea in which the only (mostly) conservative fish swims is Fox, some of us hate seeing less and less balanced and fair when Dem party hacks like Donna Brazile and Marie Harf are hired.
She should have been fired after his emotional breakdown during his Hurricane Katrina coverage.

The way he suddenly ask FNC to let him go makes me believe either he's ill or something bad about him will be exposed.

Is Donna Brazile on deck to replace Smith? With the RINO Paul Ryan on the Fox Board of Directors, I would not be surprised. Remember Fox fraudulently billed Smith as their breaking news guy, in reality he was an opinion guy, always giving his own anti-Trump opinion on his low rated afternoon show that few people tuned in to watch. No doubt Brazile would do about the same with a more open Democrat favoring slant.

Not so fast on the "good riddance." Smith will probably find another network to run his fool mouth.

Smith recently asked a guest about how something will affect his bid-nass. As any Texan can tell you, the word is pronounced "bidness." My Dad and Grandad were businessmen, and they´d take care of their bidness.
Bid-nass, really. I could never watch him after that. Ick.

i think Shep got his feelings hurt. And I think he might actually enjoy having the door hit him in the ass on the way out. :-)
