Bernie Sanders Should Be Grateful
We Don’t Have ‘Medicare for All’

Within hours of suffering chest pains Tuesday night, Bernie Sanders had stents inserted to relieve the blockage in an artery. He’s lucky. Because if Sanders lived under “Medicare for All,” things likely would not have gone as well. Sanders, along with every other Democrat pushing “Medicare for All” and its variants, constantly bleat about how the U.S. spends far more on health care but gets worse results than countries such as Canada or the U.K. But the quality measures – infant mortality and longevity – are notoriously unreliable for international comparisons. Infant mortality rates depend on how countries measure them, and longevity has more to do with things like

Oh, Bernie's not worried. "Medicare for All" wouldn't apply to him anyway. In his power grubbing fantasy, he owns everything and everybody. He's a god. Somewhere and at sometime in his life he concluded that he deserves it all.

Indeed, #1. In the old Soviet Union, there were doctors and operating rooms ready to go for Politburo members at a moment's notice. And then time off to recuperate at your dacha.

Isn't the medical care in Cuba exceptional? Sanders should go there. At least there will be warm (humid) sunny weather for recuperation.

#4 - I’ve been to Cuba, and saw a real clinic away from the propaganda. Their only medicine was a Chinese herb that could be used to treat just about anything. I would find it highly entertaining to see anyone on the left try to use the real Cuban medical system.

Crazy Bernie issued a statement praising the skills of the doctors who handled his heart problem. I doubt if he is capable of seeing the irony in that. If his emergency had taken place while on his honeymoon in Moscow (that's where he and his financial genius wife went!) he probably would have been Dead Bernie. One of the things I find interesting in all of this is that no one in the enemedia or in Bernie’s campaign is admitting the obvious - he didn’t suffer chest pains or chest discomfort - he had a full blown heart attack! Just like PIAPS’ collapse on 9/11/16 was due to “dehydration” instead of some sort of seizure. Lies, lies and more lies. Now, every time Bernie holds a rally or gives a speech, everyone will be waiting to see if he drops dead at the podium. Neither of those two is healthy enough to run for president much less be president.

I recall the book/movie the Hunt for Red October where the rogue Russian Submarine Captain, played by Sean Connery decided to desert his Russian authorities and head the Red October towards the coast of North Carolina to freedom. The reason was his wife died in because the Russian hospital didn't have the appropriate medication and supplies and to keep her alive from a minor condition.

The press is having a field day with some supposedly damning text messages surrounding the Trump administration's dealings with military aid to Ukraine and the need to get to the bottom of how the 2016 Russian collusion hoax happened. Here's National Review's rundown: The chairs of the House Committees released a document late Thursday night containing text messages that “reflect serious concerns raised by a State Department official about the detrimental effects of withholding crucial military assistance from Ukraine, and the importance of setting up a meeting between President Trump and the Ukrainian President without further delay.” The texts come after a closed-door briefing with former

TALLAHASSEE — House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and South Florida Democrats plan to meet with Venezuelan exiles this week amid an ongoing stalemate in Congress over whether or not to offer protections to those who fled the South American country. SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - A group of San Francisco neighbors said they had to do something to make their street safe. Their answer? Some giant rocks. Fed up with what they see as the city’s failure to combat homelessness and rampant drug use, the neighbors had boulders delivered to their sidewalk to block people from pitching tents on their street. That started a fight that shows the frustration with an unprecedented homelessness crisis in California. Cities are struggling to address the lack of affordable housing and a growing number of homeless encampments that are popping up on city streets, sometimes in neighborhoods.

The content of the Ukraine phone call, as unseemly as it may be for President Donald Trump, will not be the basis of impeachment, the way Bill Clinton’s “perjurious, false and misleading testimony to the grand jury” was. Which is why House Democrats are utilizing it as pretext to fish the whole expanse of the vast waters of presidential diplomatic communications with foreign leaders. A few breaths after grousing that Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani “seems to think I’m judge and jury here,” House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, the California Democrat, almost comically delivered the verdict, telling ABC News on Sunday that “what we have seen already is damning” and falsely

How did this get to be standard practice? The whistle-blower scandal that has prompted the fourth presidential impeachment process in American history has put a spectacle from earlier this decade back on display: the jaw-smacking feast of scavengers who circled around Ukraine as Viktor Yanukovych, a Moscow-linked kleptocrat, was driven from power. Ukraine’s crisis was the latest to energize a club whose culture has come to be treated as normal—a culture in which top-tier lawyers, former U.S. public officials, and policy experts (and their progeny) cash in by trading on their connections and their access to insider policy information—usually by providing services to kleptocrats like Yanukovych.

Until the transcript of President Donald Trump’s call with Ukrainian President Volodymr Zelensky emerged on Wednesday, Democrats were in a mad fury with accusations that Trump had bribed a foreign government to investigate the business dealings of former Vice President Joe Biden’s son Hunter. The claim, based on a whistleblower’s second-hand account, which none of them had seen, alleged that Trump withheld aid to Ukraine on the condition that it open an investigation on Biden. Circumstantially at least, there seemed to be some crumbs to back this up. Aside from the mysterious whistleblower claim, the administration had

"This has nothing to do with politics or partisanship.” That was how House Speaker Nancy Pelosi put it shortly before announcing the opening of an official impeachment investigation into President Donald Trump. Who is she trying to kid? Despite the breathless commentary about Trump’s phone call with the Ukrainian president and a whistleblower report based on second-hand accounts of uncertain credibility, we know little about what transpired, much less whether it rises to the level of an impeachable offense. Democrats could have gone through the normal procedures to get the information from the White House rather than jump immediately to talk of impeachment.
