Pope Francis: God Has a ‘Particular
Concern for Foreigners’

Pope Francis celebrated the World Day of Migrants and Refugees in the Vatican Sunday, insisting on the “moral duty” to welcome the stranger with the compassion exhibited by God himself. The Lord “upholds the stranger as well as the widow and the orphan among his people,” the pope said in his homily at morning Mass in St. Peter’s Square. “The Lord has a particular concern for foreigners, widows and orphans, for they are without rights, excluded and marginalized. This is why God tells the Israelites to give them special care.” Citing the biblical book of Exodus, Francis said that the God

Whenever God speaks about being kind to the "aliens in our country", He never says we are to commit suicide in the process.

Anytime that one of us leaves our country and travels to another country, we are foreigners, so what's the point? America welcomes foreigners who qualify to enter the country through the legal process. There is no place in the history of the world where you just walk in and say okay take care of me. Not even in your house your Holiness, please stick to your work and stop being a politician or a pundit, it's demeaning.

When the stranger/foreigner comes to rob you, rape your wife and daughters, and kill your neighbors, there is no moral duty to accept him with ''compassion!'' How about opening up the Vatican as a home for the strangers and foreigners? No exceptions!

The Catholic and Presbyterian Church here have received megabucks from our US government for many years to take in illegals. They’re building new housing in red states and packing them in. Our citizens are living in old, dilapidated public housing. Look at West Virginia. The pope has a dog in this race.

This pope is an embarrassment to the Catholic Church. He does nothing to address the internal corruption in the Church but tries to make himself appear to be holy by claiming that the US and Europe are somehow required by God to open their borders to those who have already proven they don't want to assimilate. I guess if he accepts lawlessness in one area he expects it elsewhere?

While no fan of the Church, I have always given the Church credit for holding the western civilization together for the last 1000 years, and for its good works when it wasn't slaughtering anyone who disagreed with it. And while I vehemently disagree with the institution of the Pope, I have always been respectful of the popes in my lifetime. It saddens me that one of the greatest global institutions is committing suicide and relegating itself to a laughing stock.

Boy does he need to reread his Bible. God had specific instructions regarding foreigners, such as keeping them out of your cities unless they obeyed the local laws and did not practice their idolatry within the city gates. God is very big on walls, and Francis will find that out when he sees the Holy City descending back to earth. He has not been right with the true God of the Universe ever. He tends to follow other littler gods in his daily life.

For two years, our political and media elites assured us that a wide-ranging independent counsel investigation of Russia’s efforts to interfere in the 2016 election would reveal that the Trump campaign, and indeed Trump himself, colluded with Moscow to steal the election. The Robert Mueller probe, we were told, would prove it. Not only did that turn out to be false, but as the investigation dragged on it became clear that the origins of the probe were highly suspicious, implicating senior intelligence officials in the Obama administration and raising questions about whether the whole thing was a political hit job from the start.

It refers to the technique used by a narcissist to convince his victim that what he sees with his own eyes is not true, and hence, he must be going crazy. If the victim catches the narcissist in the act of some foul deed or betrayal, the narcissist will deny his guilt with such passion and apparent sincerity that the victim is tempted to believe him, despite the evidence of his own eyes. The technique is especially effective as a long-term strategy -- the victim or enabler is

Even before the presidential cycle started in earnest, it was becoming apparent that Democrats have an “upstairs / downstairs” coalition, in which a relatively small elite drive policy in ways that do not always serve the interests of the party’s traditional working-class base. They figure it will be like Clinton's one-day trial and acquittal, which would allow them to scream injustice from now until forever. President Trump should extract the full price for their farce. Whilst the attorney general and inspector general continue investigating Hillarygate and Muellergate, President Trump should have fun with this by forcing Democrats to make their case to the American people. Just like they did with Clarence Thomas. Just like they did with Brett Kavanaugh. That means putting the whistle blower on the stand. The Constitution requires the accuser to face the accused.
