Washington state's public schools show
their disgusting stuff

Woke Washington state has produced a bumper crop of public school malfeasance. Just yesterday, a Longview public school bus driver who transported 90 kids in two trips was credibly reported to be driving like a drunk -- weaving, running red lights, and stinking of alcohol -- according to the terrified school children who were stuck on that bus without choice, with one of them calling 911. The cops eventually showed up, found the driver, smelled the alcohol, and made an arrest. The school itself put the driver on paid leave. According to WTSP:

Here's a story Monica missed. An Issaquah school district bus driver was arrested yesterday for allegedly raping an 11yr. old boy for over two years. The boy was a relative of his but the school district is now investigating whether he raped any students. Issaquah is a small town about 10-15 miles East of Seattle

The students should have grabbed the bus keys, turned it off at a stop and called the cops. Letting that driver continue in a drunken state was extremely dangerous. Leftists wreck everything they touch, always.

Those poor kids. Thankfully one of them was a clear thinker and called for help. Now that is one of the few reasons for kids to have a cell phone IMO. That driver should not be on any kind of paid leave. The cops smelled the stink of alcohol, and the driver should have been fired immediately. After all, if they have zero tolerance for anything resembling a weapon in schools, there should be zero tolerance for alcoholic drivers ferrying our precious kids. #1 has a great point. When they push a school bond levy on you this coming year, if it passes, watch closely at what happens when it passes. First thing they do is slice off a healthy chunk of that 'for the school books and fixing buildings' bond money for themselves and the hiring of more school employees. Cronyism and nepotism rots our school system nationwide.

It's not just Washington state schools. It's everywhere. Look at yesterday. Thousands of so called students who should be in class, are let out to protest against man made climate change, and just about everyone in the education business was fine with it.

Democrats as a protection racket?
Ed Buck makes it a trifecta

The New York Times has been trying to dismiss the arrest of Ed Buck, a Democratic fatcat who had a thing for injecting young black men with drugs before paying them for sex, as a "small-time Democratic donor," but the facts on the ground suggest he was a rather big one. And maybe that's a function of the paper's desire to protect its masters, the Democrats. They aren't known as Democratic operatives with bylines for nothing. Fox Business has a rundown: While Buck once identified himself as a conservative Republican, according to the Los Angeles Times, he became a national figure when he spearheaded the effort to impeach Arizona’s

President Trump made a whirlwind tour through San Diego, exuding optimism, vim and vigor. He was in full command at his press conference at the border wall, and the local press coverage, at least as seen on television, was strikingly positive. I watched the live coverage on the local stations here in San Diego. They just let him talk - a fairly long version is here and a shortened shareable form is here: A local Fox News affiliate has a great second segment: ABC's KGTV local affiliate's television coverage, including the post-visit analysis, was even better,

Elizabeth Warren promises that if elected, the first thing she will do as president is push through a “sweeping” anti-corruption plan that will “take power away from the wealthy and the well-connected in Washington and put it back where it belongs — in the hands of the people.” Where have we heard such promises before? Oh, right, from pretty much every candidate running for president. Barack Obama said in 2008 that if he were elected, he would “launch the most sweeping ethics reform in U.S. history. We will make government more open, more accountable and more responsive to the problems of the American people.” Bill Clinton in 1992 promised to

We live in seemingly divisive times. Politicians are at each other’s throats. Talking heads on the network news explain to us all the reasons we should hate and mistrust each other. Confidence in public institutions is at an all-time low. There seems to be nothing but bad news. Then we notice an oft-neglected holiday on our calendars: Constitution Day. This federal holiday commemorates the signing of the U.S. Constitution on September 17, 1787. And as we all learned in high school civics class, the Constitution defines the structure of our federal government. It is the most remarkable political charters in history. This may not mean much

Kamala Harris has always been known for her lean and hungry, pushy, grabby, ambition, which includes a willingness to sleep her way to the top to get what she wants. Her political start began as a social mountaineer with San Francisco's old-money Pacific Heights set dating from her 20s and then just moved onward and upward. That's not sitting well with California's lizardy old-money senior Senator, Dianne Feinstein, who knows that establishment well. And so, she's taking some action, as Fox News reports: According to reports, Feinstein, the senior senator from the Golden State, will throw a fundraiser next month

Illinois clearly is the pioneer in the not-yet-existent deceased rights movement, which I have heard is having trouble with turnout for its rallies. But if the dead ever do rise from their graves in a zombie apocalypse, as so often dramatized on cable television, they will no doubt demand that other states follow the lead of Illinois. They're not dead, they're a constituency: Illinois Policy reveals that the state has spent $4.6 million on Medicaid for dead people:
Saturday Schadenfreude: Julian Castro's

Here's something we can agree with the Democratic Party base on: Presidential candidate Julian Castro is loathesome. According to Nate Silver's outfit, Five Thirty Eight, Castro was the big loser of the third Democratic debate, based on his sneakily age-ist and downright dishonest attack on Joe Biden. Castro lost big points on favorability and the willingness of even left-wing voters to vote for him, according to Five Thirty Eight: So after Ipsos polled voters before and after the debate, we calculated the change in candidates’ net favorability (favorable rating minus unfavorable rating).

Democratic debates are always contests to determine which candidate is the most contemptible. Based on his dishonest behavior in debate three, you could argue that Julian Castro, way down at the bottom end of the debate stage, took that 'honor.' According to an excellent, level-headed analysis by Aaron Blake in the Washington Post: The former Housing and Urban Development secretary clearly came ready to go at this debate, and he went hard at Biden. But his biggest optical win didn’t have substance to back it up. He accused Biden of saying his plan would not automatically enroll people in his public health care option. When Biden denied it, Castro was apoplectic.

From the first minute of last night’s truly intolerable Democratic debate, a candidate for the world’s most powerful office started things rolling downhill with a startling assertion about last month’s horrific shootings in El Paso: “22 people were killed, dozens more grievously injured by a man … inspired to kill by our president.” (Emphasis added) Later in the same debate, a sitting U.S. Senator from the nation’s largest state added the following over-the-top observation about these vile murders: “People asked me … ‘do you think Trump is responsible for what happened?’ And I said, ‘Well, look, I mean, obviously, he didn’t pull the trigger. But he’s certainly been tweeting out the ammunition.’”

But whatever now-ex National Security Adviser John Bolton ends up writing might solve an even more perplexing mystery: What is really at the heart of this president’s foreign policy? It cannot be denied that Donald Trump is a hawk, despite his rhetoric sometimes indicating otherwise. He backed large increases in Pentagon spending during his first two years and this year focused on out-maneuvering the Democrats’ majority in the House on federal budget caps to get another increase for fiscal 2020,

A week after authorities placed a North Carolina high school cheerleading squad on probation for displaying a pro-Trump banner before a football game, school officials abruptly canceled the school's Friday night game due to safety concerns. On Monday, the cheerleading team at North Stanly High School, about 50 miles east of Charlotte, was put on probation by the North Carolina High School Athletic Association after an investigation determined that the squad had violated school policy by posing with a "Trump 2020: Make America Great Again" banner prior to a game on Aug. 30, according to Asheville ABC affiliate WLOS.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman and Democrat New York Rep. Jerry Nadler claimed Friday that the threat of climate change is greater than that of a world war. Nadler’s remarks were made as he spoke in Washington, D.C., at one of several global climate strike protests. “We have to make sure people feel the depth and the immediacy of this crisis, which is approaching us much more rapidly and much worse than the scientists proposed twenty years ago and ten years ago,” Nadler said. “Half measures will not do,” Nadler continued. “We are facing a crisis. If we had a world war, God forbid, the country would mobilize.”

Cory Booker has become the latest Democratic presidential candidate to back unionizing entire industries by supporting a concept called "sectoral bargaining." The idea dates back to the 1930s and involves the federal government creating union-management committees that would set wages and other work standards. The change, if adopted, would radically shift the business landscape across the U.S. Under sectoral bargaining, unions would be granted enormous power over industries, while businesses would be strictly limited in the workplace policies they could adopt. All workers in an industry would be represented by the union officials on the committees. The New Jersey senator

Campaign manager Addisu Demissie issued the warning after pulling in a weaker-than-expected fundraising haul in early September, stating that to stay in the race, the campaign needs the $1.7 million before September 30, the end of the financial quarter. “Without a fundraising surge to close out this quarter, we do not see a legitimate long-term path forward,” Demissie wrote in the Saturday memo to staff and supporters that NBC News obtained.

Meeks said, “Speaker Pelosi, she’s singularly focused to get this — she wants him in jail, where he really [belongs]. That’s what her focus — she wants — Donald Trump, and if you look at all the things that he’s done, it’s almost if it was any other American, they would be in jail. And she is focused singularly.”
