Dems Divide Us by Race While
Trump Expands Economic Pie

The black and Hispanic unemployment rates both just hit another all-time low, proving that the Trump administration's focus on providing equal opportunity to all Americans is doing more to empower racial minorities than any of the divisive approaches the Democrats have ever tried. President Trump has advanced an economic agenda that puts American workers at the center of the government’s decision-making. Policies such as cutting taxes for middle-income workers, fighting back against foreign trade cheaters, and stopping the flow of illegal immigration empower all workers and are improving the lives of working Americans and their families.

Excellent point. Dems are wrong headed merchantilists and Marxists, they imagine that an economy is a zero sum game. An economy has just a certain, limited amount of money; the "pie" is only so big. If you mange to somehow get more, someone else ABSOLUTELY HAS TO GET LESS. Nothing is further from reality in the real world of capitalism. If you create a new service or a new product, you can create new wealth from just your ideas, your and your employee's work and efforts. The "pie" gets bigger, and there is NO LIMIT how big "the pie" can grow to be. You create wealth from nothing but work and raw materials and energy. You need copper, so you purchase some, and the copper producer must mine more, so he hires more miners, buys more equipment, and more jobs are created, more equipment is sold. They you sell your product, and you paid employees to make it, and a shipping company to ship it, and a store profited from selling it. All things that DID NOT PREVIOUSLY HAPPEN. Yet The Left is too dense to grasp any of this. This is one of the most unbending, mindless, intractable fallacies that the leftist mind is locked into, and it is the root cause of huge swaths of their hate, envy and attempt to destroy everything with their foolish, destructive "economic" ideas. Leftists are extremely misinformed, disinformed and uninformed. All at the same time.

It is interesting to notice that Trumps policies have specifically helped Blacks, Hispanics, and Women although not actually focused on those groups. That would seem to be a big problem for a "White Male Supremacist" President and his also accused followers. And yet, Trump seems pretty happy about the results and the people that support him also seem to be pretty happy with Trump and the economic results as well. Might it be possible that the dems don't know what they are talking about for economic policy AND Trump and his follower's views of minorities and women? Might dems and media be blindingly stupid liars?

#2, yes, exactly right. The old phrase is "a rising tide lifts all boats". And a better economy benefits all who are willing to work. Race has nothing to do with it.

The end of John Bolton's stint as National Security Advisor highlighted some of the most interesting aspects of the Trump administration, good and bad. The fact such a brash and outspoken hawk like Bolton lasted even eighteen months in a Trump administration dedicated to face-to-face dealing with any and all bad actors speaks well of Trump's tolerance for disagreement.

Antifa has had an easy time of it lately. No matter what violence or illegalities they seem to commit, they pretty much get away with it with only a few arrests here and there. What’s more, the media that may as well sport pompoms when they talk about Antifa, further putting social pressure on lawmakers to look the other way when it comes to Antifa’s crimes. Joe Biden painted a vivid scene for the 400 people packed into a college meeting hall. A four-star general had asked the then-vice president to travel to Kunar province in Afghanistan, a dangerous foray into “godforsaken country” to recognize the remarkable heroism of a Navy captain. Some told him it was too risky, but Biden said he brushed off their concerns. “We can lose a vice president,” he said. “We can’t lose many more of these kids. Not a joke.”

As our RV motored across the plains, I read of how they were discovered and settled. Netflix has released comedian Dave Chappelle's latest stand-up special. Throughout his nearly hour-long set, Chappelle demonstrates that he may be the most fearless celebrity in America. At one point or another, every viewer will be offended. At most points, though, viewers will not only laugh but marvel at the comedian's ability to skewer what he calls the "cancel culture" while making a mockery of political correctness. With his latest special, Chappelle proves that he is the PC culture's worst nightmare.

Former Vice President Joe Biden had another 'gaffe' yet again on the campaign trail on Saturday. This time the 76-year-old told media how much he loved being in the state of Vermont...except, he was actually in New Hampshire. This is just the latest in a litany of verbal miscues he has had so far on the presidential campaign trail. The GOP's Steve Guest picked up the Vermont mistake and shared a video of it on Twitter. Early Monday morning, Donald Trump tweeted: “94% Approval Rating in the Republican Party, a record. Thank you!” Where the president got this specific number remains a mystery. Recent polls by YouGov put his GOP approval roughly ten points lower, and Gallup, which has tracked Trump’s popularity since he took office, puts him at 88 percent. But I suppose we shouldn’t be surprised that Trump used his Sharpie to round up his score. He’s deeply invested in being — or at least claiming to be — the most popular Republican president in history.

Other lines of attack have come to naught: Collusion with Russia, accusations of racism provoking outbursts of mass murder (by uttering “racially charged statements,” in the inadvertently Orwellian words of CNN’s most witless talking head, Don Lemon), the verbal recession confected by the world-renowned economists of CNN and MSNBC, all of it has collapsed. Good advice. It is a curiosity how a self-declaring Christian can still stand strong on the side of abortion rights. This is what Buttigieg said a few days ago on a “Breakfast Club” radio interview: “Right now, [conservatives] hold everybody in line with this one piece of doctrine about abortion, which is obviously a tough issue
