Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.), a 2020 presidential contender, hit President Trump over his announcement he had canceled a secret meeting with Taliban and Afghanistan leaders at Camp David. "It is another example of the president treating foreign policy like some kind of game show. It's not a game show, these are terrorists," Klobuchar said Sunday on CNN's "State of the Union." Trump announced Saturday on Twitter that he had canceled a meeting with the organization that that had secretly been planned to take place at Camp David ahead of the 18th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

As these clown-car Dems knock Trump for everything (who of them spoke anything positive about his achievements?), the question is: what would any of them bring to the table as for foreign policy? Other than bending over or bowing, nothing! Come up with a better idea or shut up!

Everything is a "game". Every country competes against every other country. And every country seeks to gain advantage and leverage. Politics is also a game. The difference is that we may or may not be willing participants, but we are participants.the game may not be fun, but it has real life consequences. So if we are going to be in the game, we need a guy whos rolling the dice to understand the game and be willing to turn over the board.

"Senator Klobuchar supported the Iran nuclear deal, arguing that the deal helped curb Iran’s ability to develop a nuclear weapon.. She argued that the deal “was imperfect, but it was a good deal for that moment” and that she “would have worked to get longer sunset periods, and that’s something we can negotiate to get back in the deal.” Jewish Political Guide The deal: we give them 150 billion dollars and they promise to play nice.

Klobuchar is many-faced. She can come across as reasonable but in fact, is a treacherous, duplicitous, hard Leftist. I would trust her as far as I could throw her. It's interesting to read the above comment that she treats her own staff like animals. Just like Hillary Clinton. And Nancy Pelosi. And come to think of it, just like Barbara Streisand. Something about Leftists, especially their political leaders, elitists talking the talk, never walking the walk. Phony and hypocritical, all of them.

The Department of Homeland Security is discarding a 1994 rule which says officials must provide work permits to asylum seekers within 30 days of their request. The tighter curbs on work permits may reduce the huge flow of low wage foreign migrants into U.S. blue collar jobs. In turn, the reduced inflow will pressure employers to offer Americans higher wages as they compete for the limited pool of U.S. workers Federal law allows illegal immigrants and economic migrants to ask for asylum — and then to ask for work permits once they have waited at least 150 days for an asylum court hearing.

During last week’s climate town halls, several Democratic presidential candidates endorsed a carbon tax. It’s an idea Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton shied away from. At Bloomberg Opinion, I argue they had good reasons for keeping their distance. A memo for the Clinton campaign estimated that a carbon tax of $42 per ton on greenhouse-gas emissions would raise annual energy costs by $478 for the average household, and by $268 for the poorest fifth of households. When considering that number, keep in mind another poll finding. In November 2018, the AP-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research ran a survey about climate change that found, in line with other polls, that most Americans

The Trump administration, despite constant criticism at home and overseas, has made the right decision in taking on China. And yet, very few pundits and so-called experts understand Trump’s strategy, the stakes involved and how America will implement it. I can sum up Trump’s China strategy in one word: containment. And considering it brought down Soviet communism for good, Beijing should be shaking in its boots. But let’s step back for a second. This isn’t your father’s version of containment meant to pull back the iron curtain and deliver freedom to hundreds of millions of people.
