Former “CBS Evening News” anchor Dan Rather on Monday advised fellow journalists to report on what President Trump “really believes” rather than what he says during prepared speeches and on Twitter.
“To my fellow members of the press, I suggest we refrain from quoting the president’s words from prepared speeches into headlines and tweets without context,” the veteran broadcaster tweeted to his 694,000 followers. “He sometimes says the right thing. The real questions are what he does and what he really believes.”
Mr. Rather expanded on the thought later Monday on “CNN Tonight” with Don Lemon, arguing that Mr. Trump is a racist and that journalists have a duty

Dan Rather will be remembered as one of the early story tellers who posed as a legitimate news reporter. His commitment to agenda-driven fiction removes him from qualifying as a media professional that he impersonated. He is also ignorant of the fact that no credence is offered to him because of his blatant lack of professional standards, but he still embraces the fantasy that people find his opinions as relevant. He is truly a man without honor. As such, he is the perfect guest on CNN and all of the other fake news outlets.

The antithesis of what the Journalism profession is supposed to be about. This is pleading not for the unbiased reporting of the news but for the publication of the "political propagandist's" opinions and thoughts on the news, with the so called journalists making up becoming the news. Already very evident in the left wing TDS effected media.

Many years ago, I heard David Brinkley state in an interview that it is journalists' obligation to "interpret the news for the public". Well, no. It is a journalist's job to report. Opinion writers can interpret. Dan Rather has never understood that difference.

More fake but accurate reporting encouraged by the original disreputable clown, himself. The homeless guy who beat the crap out of Gunga Dan didn't go far enough.

So, Mr. Rather, do you use Tarot cards to "divine" what Pres. Trump believes or does Satan tell you straight out face-to-face?

Apparently, while using the toilet in the lavatory, Dan Rather peers into his crystal balls and can see what others believe in spite of what they might actually say. My guess is that the view is pretty murky down there.

So called journalists aren't the least bit interested in what Trump really believes, only in what they believe. What Trump believes goes against everything so called journalists believe in.

The easy way to determine what President Trump “really believes” is to publish the entire sentence of a Pres. Trump quote...not a partial phrase to make him look bad.
That would dispel many of the vile myths about "Trump's lies" so the enemedia and DemonRATS (but I repeat myself) will never do it.
