A rodeo is no place for vegan protesters, and a group of more than 40 of them have learned that the hard way. A video going viral through LiveLeak and other sites shows a group of vegan protesters attempting to disrupt a dressage contest — a competition where horses and their owners perform a series of movements from memory — only to face an anti-protest from the cowboys in attendance. LiveLeak reported about the video, “This Saturday at La Exposición de Gandadería, – commonly known as Expo Rural – more than 40 vegan activists staged a peaceful protest interrupting a dressage contest. I don't eat meat or poultry because I don't eat anything that I would not be willing to kill myself just for a meal. But I don't run around disrupting other people's lives and events to try to force them to share my beliefs.

There is nothing peaceful about protesting by walking into the middle of a public space to disrupt a contest that's underway. It is taking possession of something that doesn't belong to you with the intention of disrupting something that you should not be participating in. It's not peaceful. It's passive aggressive, and it must be treated as such. The moment something becomes disruptive, it ceases to be peaceful.

I remember the President saying something to the effect that, the antifa bunch would never taunt any biker group for Trump. It is such good news that - like today - some people are standing up to these rude people. It is about time the innocent are being defended by some normal men. I include the horses with the innocent. I still do not understand how the antifa bunch gets away with carrying weapons which have hurt people (assault) and still are allowed to wear masks. It does not make sense. I can't imagine that any city government is afraid of that bunch because you know they are cowards because they will not show their faces.

Monday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” Rep. Veronica Escobar (D-TX) told President Donald Trump he was not “welcome” to visit El Paso, TX, following the shooting by someone who reportedly posted a manifesto online railing against immigrants. Escobar said it is “probably unfair” to say the Trump rally held in El Paso in February is the cause of the attack, but said the president needs to “do a little self-reflection” on his rhetoric and actions at his rallies. “It is shocking to me that [Trump] is so utterly self-aware,” Escobar lamented. “And this is why from my perspective, he is not welcome here. He should not come here while we are in mourning.”

Several media outlets are reporting that the gunman who killed 20 people and wounded 26 at a Walmart in El Paso, Texas claimed in a manifesto that his white supremacist views had nothing to do with President Donald Trump. The Washington Post reported Sunday: “Authorities believe … [the shooter] wrote the document, though they are still gathering evidence.” It also noted that the author “stresses that he has maintained his white supremacist ideology for many years, predating President Trump and his 2016 campaign, which he says did not influence his reasons for carrying out the attack.”

Australia has enough petrol and crude oil to last 28 days, well below the 90 days mandated by an international agreement.

Though congressional Democrats remain reluctant to admit it, the “recycling” of illegal alien children remains a growing problem along the southern U.S. border. People must switch from meat-heavy Western diets to vegetarian or vegan diets to avert climate change, a United Nations-backed report has warned. By 2050, the world will need to produce 56% more food than in 2010, to feed a predicted 9.8 billion people. If the level of meat and dairy consumption rises in line with current trends, 2.3 million square miles of forest will need to be converted for agriculture. Our system of producing food already accounts for between 25-30% of greenhouse gases, the UN’s Creating a Sustainable Food Future report warned.
