After going back and forth and back and forth about whether she would eliminate private insurance and shove every American into Medicare, Kamala Harris thinks she’s found a solution.
Shove everyone into Medicare, but do it a little more slowly and pretend that private insurers will still be involved.
No doubt the Democratic California senator is reading the same polls as everyone else. Namely, that the public thinks it likes “Medicare for All” until it learns what it means. Then support evaporates. But Harris still wants to appeal to the Democrats’ increasingly socialist base.
So, voilà. She’s proposing to let people choose between regular Medicare and Medicare Advantage,

"Kamala Harris Must Think Voters Are Pretty Dumb." Now that headline is true. After all, they did elect Kunta Kinte Hussein for President along with "Bite Me Biden" for VP.

Let’s see now,
We can deal with Russia, North Korea and Iran.
Please don’t attack our free country! You can cross our borders any time and any place, free health care with free abortions, along with free college as long as you want to attend.
Some of our most generous states offer free housing in our most prosperous neighborhoods.
This is the Democratic platform I see from these (DEBATES)).

That woman is every woman's nightmare. She has no morals at all, therefore, she has no problem having an affair with a married man and not even try to hide it. She flaunted her dalliance with Willie Brown and thought she was "Somebody"! In my opinion she was a High Priced Hooker then and hasn't changed at all. She will do whatever it takes to get to the top! Fortunately, I think voters already have her number. She comes across as Arrogant, snotty and mean. She won't get the nomination because she is less likeable than Hillary!

The first step would need to be for all of our elected representatives to lead the way by being enrolled in Medicare, then all other government employees. After a trial period of 10 years or so, we could evaluate how many had died awaiting treatment before bringing everyone else on board.

That is exactly what Smidgen was planning to do with 0bamascare. If Illary had won, we’d be almost there.

Yes, she thinks we are dumb and gullible. After all, Barack Obama won the Presidency twice. Those retires who are on Social Security and Medicare have to pay for their Medicare which is taken out of their SS check before it is sent to the retiree. They also have to pay taxes on it according to their income. Then, to get really good medical care, one has to pay for a supplement like AARP which hounds them to buy their supplement in order to have good coverage. Someone should ask her if the middle class will have to do the same. Nothing is free in this world especially if it is run by the government.

This woman is despicable....not only did she sleep her way to initial prominence via the married and much older Willie Brown, but she has flip flopped on virtually EVERYTHING she supposedly espouses. But for me that hectoring, jabbing hand, LECTURER IN CHIEF, is what I hate the most. I only hope some poor sap doesn't top her as VP.

Medicare covers about 60% of the cost of care, not market value but cost. Private healthcare picks up the extra 40%. By imposing price controls in public healthcare shifting the burden to the private sector, they can destroy private healthcare and declare victory for socialism. When prices skyrocket they'll ride the myth of how much worse private evil profit motivated healthcare would have been.

Kamala Sutra is shooting herself out of the VP saddle.
Gabbard, on the other hand, is positioning herself to be Biden's running mate.

They have insured the continuation of that with their control over the public education in this country.

Considering she's a Democrat from the People's Grand and Glorious Republic of California, she's been doing pretty well assuming voters are dumb. After all, they've elected her to office a bunch of times.
When Bill Clinton was President, he rented out the Lincoln Bedroom for campaign cash. I shudder to think of what Horizontal Harris will be doing with and in the Lincoln Bedroom if for some wild reason she becomes President.

"If they want to play by our rules, they can be in the system,”
This is exactly what they did with BOCare and insurers were bleeding money. They were promised "transition" reimbursements for loses which BO paid although they were not funded by Congress. You can be sure that there will be no such reimbursements in Medicare for All plans and only insane companies would jump into it, which is exactly the dem intentions anyway. Kamala's plan is a fig leaf and a fake one at that. The Empress has no clothes.

Ok, let's consider what is really stupid. It is folks like yourself that are stupid enough to think the problem with healthcare in the US is one of affordable insurance. It is a cost issue and what FACTS do we have that proves that. Well the FACT that the US spends twice per capita as the next highest country in the world on healthcare. And before writing back the typical stupid answer please go look up what per capita means. So similar to our defense spending which is inflated by overcharging by defense contractors. Which it must be because we are still concerned about Russia which has spent 20% of what the US has spent on defense over the past 10+ years. For profit insurance 30% off the top, for profit hospitals, for profit medical equipment companies, big pharma, etc. etc. all insure our health care spending will be inefficient and misused. Like Medicare 96.5% of premiums should go to providing care, instead of health insurance companies posting $72 billion in profits. What individuals like yourself don't want to realize and admit is that Medicare is the most effective and efficient health insurance plan in the US by far. And it is run by the federal government. The only problem with it is that despite the actuarial realities, baby boomers didn't want to pay for the care they would receive when they retired. And of course that cowardly congress members on both side of the isle, took IOUs against SS and Medicare trust funds because they wouldn't fund spending on defense, infrastructure, agriculture, education etc. by collecting enough taxes.

Poster #13 said: Medicare covers about 60% of the cost of care, not market value but cost.
According to AARP, over 95% of Medicare recipients obtain extra coverage...either a policy through their pension, or a Supplemental plan, or a Medicare "Advantage" plan...very few people are satisfied with only Medicare as it is now.
When I qualified for Medicare, I chose a Medicare Advantage (HMO) plan, then I had to call six (6) doctors in their book before I found one who was accepting new Medicare patients...what do you think doctor availability will be like when they throw a couple million new patients trying to get an appointment. Doctors will be "retiring" from the stress of seeing multiples of their current caseload...at 60% of the cost of care.

Well at least she recognizes that a very big percentage of reliable Democrat socialist voters are pretty low information folks who cast their ballots based upon race, ethnicity, gender, personality, or the amount of “Free Stuff” that Democrat candidates promise to supply them in exchange for their votes. If Democrat politicians did not believe that they would not be pushing such identity politics 24/7.

I will never forget her behavior during the Kavanaugh hearings. One of the most arrogant and nasty women I have ever seen. I hope she goes down in flames soon. Otherwise, being black AND female, she has a good shot at the VP slot (assuming Biden gets the nomination).
Most likely won't matter though; none of these buffoons can hold a candle to Trump.

I basically make about $6,000-$8,000 a month online. It’s enough to comfortably replace my old jobs income, especially considering I only work about 10-13 hours a week from home. I was amazed how easy it was after I tried it………. www.works7.com

Kamala Harris is lazy, entitled, and extremely mean. The notion that she´s somehow suitable for any kind of public office is laughable. She´s slept her way up to the Senate, and that´s not lofty enough for her, of course.
Kamala Harris has no personal integrity whatever. There is a sheer recklessness to her meanness -- a hubris -- that will bring her down soon enough. Meanwhile she can´t be trusted at any time, by anyone, nor under any circumstances. It´s obvious that she´ll say absolutely anything to get herself elected -- anything.
