Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” House Intelligence Committee chairman Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) said President Donald Trump stonewalling Congress in their investigations might become an impeachable offense.
(Snip) “He is violating a different provision of the Constitution by obstructing the Congress in its lawful and constitutional duty. That would not be a crime, that would be a misdemeanor. And the founders had a different idea of what misdemeanor meant. It’s not a lesser crime, but it’s demeaning the office. And I think violating the separation of powers would be such a misdemeanor. So this is why I say the President is

On that basis, both Schiff and Nadler should be impeached for violating separation of powers, the presumption of innocence until proven guilty, and seeking secret grand jury material.
They want to redefine basic principles of jurisprudence for political purposes.
Their behavior borders on treasonous.

Schiff's inability to give up on the hopes of impeaching PRESIDENT Trump should be grounds for committing him to a mental institution. It's time for those who care about him to stage an intervention.

Interesting theory.
Did not Eric Holder refuse to comply with a Congressional Subpoena?
Several, in fact.
Schiff needs to check his Constitution. The three Branches are co-equal. That was the design.
Now if Schiff wants to amend the Constitution, he can go ahead and try.
Lotsa luck with that, bozo.

Spare us the details about bull Schiff. Why is the lame street media not pressing him to release the info that he claims will be proof positive of the Russia collusion!????
Why is he not being investigated for the frequent trips that he takes to Russia???

They have been talking impeachment since Trump became President. These people are biased, and nothing they say should be trusted.

Adam Schiff used to say that he had evidence of collusion. Failing to produce it he now says that fighting with Congress is obstruction. Schiff is still trying to claim a case in the absence of facts, law and common sense.

Question: what crime did Trump or his election committee commit that he has tried to obstruct the investigation of. There has to be an underlying crime for there to be a obstruction or cover up. If you want to say that Trump objects to the blatant Democratic partisan attacks and he is not interested in helping them spend the next two years shoving camera's up his anal orifice that is hardly obstruction its just plain commons sense response to idiots with a god syndrome.

It doesn't matter whether it makes sense or not or whether it has a basis in fact. The dems are in the majority and the House decides who will be impeached. If President Trump wins re-election and the dems hold the House ( and gain the Senate) he will be impeached. This is not a matter of law it is a congressional issue and politics rule. If President Trump does not hold at least one branch of Congress he, and we will suffer 4 more years of this stupidity.
Pray and work to give President Trump what he needs ti keep winning.

#14 MadMax Waters was out there demanding impeachment even before the inauguration. I guess the only 'crime' POTUS has committed is saving us from 8 more years of gutter politics. It seems this is a new precedent. Any GOP President is going to have to endure impeachment nonsense from the donkeys who were denied their sovereign right to rule over us peons. The rule of law is dead in the House. So be it. We will focus on the Senate, the Presidency and the Supreme Court. We will overcome.

Its only going to be an 8 year term if everyone does everything in their power to hold the senate and flip the house AND re-elect Trump. Campaign for, donate to conservatives, make a convincing case for this to everyone you know and even those you don't. It shouldn't be too hard given everything that has improved in the past couple of years. Ignore the rabids except to use their actions and words when describing the state of a future country run by them.
