Un-diverse US team
ties for first place at
International Math Olympiad

Original Article

Quick! Call the diversity police! For the fourth time in five years the US team placed first in the International Mathematical Olympiad, this year tying for first place with China. The six U.S. team members also won gold medals for their individual high scores on the Olympiad, known as the world championship mathematics competition for high school students. However, this very dominating winning team does not look like America -- all members are males, 5 Asians and one Caucasian, judging by appearances. Race, gender, ethnicity, family income, sexual orientation or other identifiers do not factor in to qualifying for the team to attend the Olympiad.

The Math Olympiads have nothing to do with color, gender, religion, or national origin. WYSIWIG in spades. What you see is what you get. And you must be able to solve fiendishly difficult problems in a very limited time. Genius is what it is. Despite all claims to the contrary, genius refuses to be confined to biology. Some of our greatest geniuses came from very plain circumstances. Ramanujan, for instance. Who could explain the genius of Pythagoras? Or Thales? Take a look at the Olympiad problems. Even after seeing the solution, you will have no idea how the participants solved the problems. Enough of this diversity BS. I tire of this nonsense. Give me a bridge or a building or a generator designed by a genius, and ignore his/her/ix gender/color/race/ origin. Give me something that works. But don't give me something designed by a PC committee. It will collapse in a heartbeat.

The most important thing Robert Mueller revealed today in his testimony before the House Judiciary and Intelligence Committees was that he didn’t really know that much about the work of the investigation that bears his name -- and that he is prone to senior moments with alarming frequency. That he could in no way have been the actual leader of a large team of high-powered lawyers is now obvious to everyone in cringe-worthy detail (snip) He was a BINO, a Boss In Name Only, or, colloquially, a front-man.

Is there any doubt that the American Left is on the cusp of their ultimate prize and ticket to permanent political domination -- absolute control of the Democratic Party? (snip) Using the cudgel of the mainstream media, the entertainment complex and the education establishment combined with the apathy and cowardice of the Republican Establishment, the American Left had successfully, within 25 years after the Reagan landslides, inculcated into a plurality of the American people a belief that there are no moral absolutes and that the state, not God, is the source of the inalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness

Racist. As the definition goes, that’s what they call somebody who wins an argument with a liberal. Which rather makes calling their critics racist even more absurd. Rashida Tlaib was born in Detroit of Palestinian Arab ancestry. Arabs from the Near East are white, and always have been, as far as the U.S. Census Bureau and American society at large is concerned.

The Trump administration is today implementing a strategy that’s been in planning for two years to relieve crowding at detention centers, deal with the backlog at immigration courts, and rapidly increase the tempo of deportations of illegal immigrants. Predictably, the open borders crowd is appalled and the ACLU is planning to launch a lawsuit (snip) Immigration and Customs Enforcement already has this power under current law. The Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996 gave ICE the power to expedite deportations of illegal immigrants detained anywhere in the country as long as they have been residing in the U.S. for less than two years.

The $25 million damages judgment plus the over $6.5 million attorney’s fees and expenses award, puts Oberlin College almost $32 million in debt to Gibson’s Bakery and its owners.
