While the government corporation is still able to produce compelling costume dramas and other fiction with good results, its news operations consistently are hostile to Israel, and soft on Muslims. BBC has been far to the left of MSNBC for a very long time. BBC is not a reliable source of information, has been a leftist propaganda channel like the NYT for a long time.

Another athletic egomaniac looking

By now, the routine of athletes calling attention to themselves by dissing the U.S. flag at some athletic event has become so de rigueur you could write the script before it happens. Lose the big prize. Take a knee to the flag. Make a raving or two to the press about the awfulness of the U.S. And reap lots of media attention your athletic performance wouldn't otherwise merit. Instant fame. Endorsement deals. Money. Profit big from insulting the very flag of the country that made your performance possible. A couple days ago we got this attention-seeker whose bronze medal in fencing at a championship event in Lima, Peru, apparently
Jeffrey Epstein's suicide makes no sense 14 replies

Accused pedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s death this morning — reportedly a suicide, according to federal officials — is an inexplicable end to a bizarre, tragic case that only got more disturbing the more we learned about it. The fact that one of the country’s highest-profile federal prisoners could even commit suicide defies all logic and belief. His death raises doubts about officials’ actions. The FBI says it will investigate; Attorney General William Barr says he is “appalled” by what happened; members of Congress such as Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) are demanding answers. Indeed we all need answers, before we lose all faith in our justice system.

Need any proof that the left has gone crazed with hate and malice? Try this: Here is an obviously warm-hearted lady who has literally saved dozens of lives in the most stressful professional setting imaginable, the terrible Dayton mass shooting, and for merely posing for posing for a picture with the president, she gets threats, security, and her life upended. To make matters worse, she also got doxxed. It wasn't in the Instagram post above, it was in this sick leftist tweet here, encouraging harassment calls:

The press is having a field day exploiting children to attack President Trump and his effort to re-establish rule of law in immigration. Tossing all previous compunction about showing a child's face on national television out the window, they put the cameras right in a little girl's face to get her to talk and cry about a recent immigration raid in Mississippi. No blue dot for her over this little girl's face, they went full frontal instead, as if a child that young were capable of giving consent. Now the video will follow the girl all her life, and will likely end up a topic for mocking memes,

The press, in San Diego at least, is making a big deal about a Honduran migrant who as part of the 'remain in Mexico' program has won asylum in the U.S., while the U.S., wickedly enough, wants to appeal that ruling. Here's the local NPR affiliate, KPBS's report: He was one of the first asylum-seekers sent back to Mexico under the Trump Administration’s policy. Now, Barnard said, after waiting in Mexico for six months for his court date, Alec may be the first under that policy to be granted refugee-status by an American immigration judge. “We thought after waiting six months, after filing hundreds of pages of evidence to support his claim,

In Jiuting town in Shanghai in June, the urban management squadron was on a case in which a van load of insulation foam was secretly dumped at a construction waste disposal site at night. Because of omnipresent video cameras, it didn’t take long for officials to track down the van and fine the offender 20,000 yuan (US$2,900). Although the hefty fine and the determined enforcement of recycling laws shocked many netizens, they were part and parcel of a new waste-sorting regimen in Shanghai that has been dubbed “the most stringent in history”. The implementation of the new policy also illustrates how hi-tech surveillance has emboldened the Chinese state

The coordinated slurs that prominent Democrats are leveling at President Trump in the wake of the horrific mass shootings in El Paso and Dayton are pure Alinskyite. Rule 8 of Saul Alinsky’s Rules For Radicals: “Keep the pressure on.” Rule 10: executing “operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition.” Rule 11: “If you push a negative hard and deep enough it will break through into its counterside.” And, of course, the infamous Rule 13: “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” “This president has fanned the flames of white supremacy in this nation,” Joe Biden said in Iowa on Wednesday.

Donald Trump Jr. told Fox & Friends on Wednesday that the publicly available list of Trump donors that Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-TX) shared on Twitter is the same thing as the hit list the Dayton shooter created in high school. Appearing on his father’s favorite morning program, the presidential son complained about the amount of criticism that his dad has received in the wake of the mass shootings in El Paso and Dayton. After saying nothing the president does will satisfy his critics, Trump Jr. brought up Castro, who was blasted by the right this week for sharing a list of his constituents who gave the maximum donation to Trump.

Texas Rep. The maximum donation is $2,800 each for federal primary and general election campaigns. Election law states individuals who donate over $200 to these campaigns report to the Federal Election Commission. Castro told MSNBC it is not his intention for the Trump supporters to be harassed or their businesses be boycotted. "Like I said, my post was actually as a San Antonian, my family has been here since 1922. It was a lament," Castro said.

CHICAGO - Before her inauguration as Chicago's mayor, Lori Lightfoot visited the White House to meet with Ivanka Trump and begin building a relationship that she hoped could lead to help in solving some of the city's deepest problems. But this week, Lightfoot engaged in a public battle of words with the president's powerful daughter, who in a series of tweets on Tuesday drew attention to the city's gun violence and provoked an angry response from Chicago's mayor. Early Tuesday, Ivanka Trump drew renewed national attention to Chicago's problems with gun violence by writing, "As we grieve over the evil mass shootings

When President Trump announced plans to provide beleaguered health insurance consumers a cheaper alternative to Obamacare, critics decried it as “sabotage.” It would, they said, destabilize Obamacare exchanges and drive up premiums, while ripping consumers off. It turns out that, like everything else about Obamacare, these predictions were dead wrong. Until Obamacare started up in 2014, short-term insurance plans were a niche market that mainly served those between jobs. As the name suggests, these plans were meant to be held only for short periods, and there were limits on whether or how you could renew them. This market exploded after Obamacare went into effect,

August 10, 1969: SAN CLEMENTE, Calif.—President Nixon accused his predecessor Lyndon Baines Johnson of complicity in the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Speaking with reporters on the first day of a 10-day stay at his Pacific Ocean vacation home …. Of course, that never happened. Obviously. How could it, how dare it? But had it happened, such an accusation—by a president, against a former president—would have convulsed the United States and the world. Today, President Trump accused his predecessor, Bill Clinton—or possibly his 2016 campaign opponent, former First Lady and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton—of complicity in the death of the accused sex-trafficker, Jeffrey Epstein.

Our thinking this week, amid all the carnage and grief and finger-pointing, has been in part on Beto O’Rourke, the presidential candidate from El Paso, where 22 people were killed last Saturday. Our sympathy is devoted to the dead and their families, of course — but Beto has been on our minds, too. We keep coming back to a moment last Sunday when, for a few seconds, all the pretenses that are part of running for president in our age of constant exposure were peeled back, if only briefly. There are times, it seems, in most presidential campaigns when the facades get stripped away like so many layers of paint.

Here are a few things I know firsthand about being in jail. First and foremost, you have virtually no control over your life and surroundings. You can’t get so much as an aspirin without authorization. In most jails, you can’t wear a belt, or shoelaces, or keep a razor in your cell. You have no privacy, no sense of dignity, and no rights. And in a well-run jail, high-profile prisoners have virtually no chance of killing themselves. So the alleged suicide of Jeffrey Epstein, the 66-year-old financier with powerful American and foreign friends who was about to stand trial for allegedly sexually abusing dozens of girls, many of them underage,

They confirm that Bruce Ohr and his wife Nellie were not merely passive conduits for the fraudulent Steele Dossier but were active participants in the plot to deny Trump the presidency.
