Is Kamala Harris telling the
truth about her Berkeley days?

Original Article

Last night, Kamala Harris repeated her story about how, thanks to busing, she was able to be part of only the second class to integrate in the Berkeley public school system. She used this story to thrash Joe Biden, who offered anti-busing legislation as a U.S. Senator in the 1970s. Last year, I questioned Harris’ story: [I]s it. . .true that Harris was in only the second class to integrate at Berkeley public schools? Based on an examination of old yearbooks from Berkeley High, Freida Powers reports that classrooms at Berkeley High were already integrated in 1963, a year before Harris was born. I wondered whether Harris

She lied. Berkeley public schools were integrated in 1963 , Harris was born in 1964. She also left out that from age 7 through high school she went to school in Canada, where her family had moved to.

I went to public schools in DeKalb County, a county that overlaps into the City of Atlanta. I was in 6th grade in 1968 at the beginning of the school year. We were busing that year and I vividly recall rather fond memories of all the new kids I was meeting and, despite having grown up in the south, thought at the time that busing was a good thing in order to help white kids meet and befriend black kids. Still do feel that way. To think that California would be LAGGING Georgia in this regard is laughable. The southern states put up a fight that they lost in the late 60's. As the author states, nobody seems to recall that Berkeley was even segregated. I suspect that Harris just rode a bus and somehow thought that conferred hero status to her. Again, the left triumphs symbolically while failing miserably at anything they attempt in the real world.

What’s to believe about K. Harris, or any other democrat? She told one phony story after another to fit the liberal narrative. She lied about doing that “Jamaican thing,” smoking weed. Her own father called her out on that. Now, she’s identifying with blacks who did the Selma thing, when she was nowhere near that kind of experience. It seems her whole life, as she present it to the public, is one big fat lie.

It appears she's telling the truth, sort of. But mostly she's disingenuous and even dishonest. People who've noticed that Berkeley High School was integrated before Harris was born are correct, but it was the city's only high school, guaranteeing its integration as a practical matter; the neighborhood K-8 schools in Berkeley reflected neighborhood populations. This was not a a legal violation -- Berkeley, a very liberal town, NEVER bused black children to keep them away from whites -- but the liberals of Berkeley decided to force integration by cross-busing pre-high schoolers between black and white neighborhoods. Ironically, this supports Joe Biden's defense of himself -- he said local communities should be free to tinker as they please, but the federal government should not interfere or force busing. What he suggested is what happened in Berkeley. Further, Harris's poignant claim of how busing liberated her is nonsense. For one, I believe she only went to the integrated school for one year before moving with her mother to Canada. In any event, Harris came from a financially comfortable home with enormous amounts of cultural capital -- both parents were university professors in serious subjects. She was bound to college from birth. If anything, her intellectual attainments are disappointing to me in light of her advantages. And she should learn how to spell busing -- not with two s's.

The thing about busing my kids at that time was we lived 3 houses from the school that they were originally going to. That meant that the kids had to get up earlier to catch the bus at the school where they had gone to.

I rode the bus to school in '61-62 and '64-65 and for the same reason: the school we were assigned to attend was nowhere near our neighborhood. Race had zip, zero, nada to do with it. Totally a function of geography. If as someone stated that Berkeley was busing for racial balance voluntarily and not under judicial compulsion, then she got away with one while giving ol' Sleepy Joe a big chingas.

Remember Hillary's story about landing under sniper fire when arriving in Bosnia. Same thing. I wonder which of the Dem candidates will attempt to take Kamala down. I remember busing as being a huge money-wasting feel-good project that forced many children to stand at a bus stop before 7 am in the snow and endure an hour-plus ride just so they could integrate when the closest school was 15 minutes away. There is no such thing as a "better school" it's the teachers and administration that makes the difference and they were all much better in those days, even in the inner city, no matter which building served as the school. Today we need to bus public school children to other countries to see any kind of "better" education. As for Kamala, she's a racist, bitter, lying liberal and it doesn't matter where she was "educated" she is a sub-standard human being.

Willy Brown's arm-candy and former "gumada" (as we say in Italian) is basically a whore in more ways than one. Obviously not only will she say anything to get what she wants but will DO anything to advance herself. She basically had no problem with this slob publicly and flagrantly cheating on his wife (who threw him out back in 1982 because of his philandering --- but is still legally married to the 85 year old! Community property state after all.) Kamala is a fraud who will take what she wants, rather than earn it, which is why she can relate to all illegal aliens. They're cut from the same cloth! Last point, all those Senators she's crying about being racists were all Democrats! Look at the vote for the 1964 and 1965 civil rights acts. Who filibustered? Al Gore's father was one!

According to the wikipedia page on her, the 2nd-year-of-integration claim is rather narrower than the general statements being made here. According to Harris, hers was only the second year when children of Indian and Jamaican graduate students at University of California, Berkeley like herself were allowed to study along with white students. How many children of Indian and Jamaican grad students could there have been to begin with? I think she should add her name to the list of traits, to let her say she was the first (not part of the second). In any case, the need to parse the campaign claims about this slimy ho is off the charts.

In Tennessee, integration was incremental. They started with either the 1st or the 3rd grade in our country. Then the city and county governments joined into a municipal structure and two different school systems became one. After some ugly messes in other parts of the state and the south, our city was pretty much peacefully integrated. Then busing became an issue that lasted until the late 60s. My husband was from Ohio and the schools there were ''always'' integrated -- he was 20 years older than I; and he wondered what was the big hairy deal. All in all, it was a good thing which the Democrats tried to stop.

It's not uncommon for presidential candidates to scribble down some notes or talking points on sheets of paper during a debate. Ex-Secretary of State Rex Tillerson told lawmakers that President Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, often communicated with world leaders without keeping the State Department in the loop — leaving America’s top diplomat in the dark on key issues. The disclosure came Thursday when redacted transcripts of Tillerson’s testimony to the House Foreign Affairs Committee were released, the Washington Post reported. Tillerson said he once learned that Kushner was meeting with Mexico’s foreign secretary when he happened to be dining in the same DC restaurant while the pair came up with a “fairly comprehensive plan of action” that Tillerson knew nothing about.

The plan seemed preposterous. John F. Kennedy was just 43 years old, and he’d been president of the United States for just four months—a rough four months. So far, his attempt to overthrow Fidel Castro had ended in quick and utter disaster at the Bay of Pigs, and the Soviet Union had beaten the U.S. to outer space, launching cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin into orbit and bringing him home onto the Russian steppe. Now here was Kennedy, on the afternoon of May 25, 1961, in front of a joint session of Congress, offering up what his national security adviser, McGeorge Bundy, had referred to as a “grandstand play.”

EAST LOS ANGELES — By the time his plane touched down in California at the end of a whirlwind week, Julián Castro had set an early political benchmark in the crowded presidential race. It was early April, and the former mayor and housing secretary had just released a sweeping immigration policy platform, garnering national headlines and widespread praise from immigration reform advocates who went as far as calling his proposals “exactly what we need in this moment.” Castro was still struggling to break from the pack, but he was the first in the field with a detailed plan to tackle the one issue that could come to define the 2020 presidential campaign.

But even before she became a student, the lawsuit says, the seminary “was not a safe place for young women.”

Earlier this month RealClearPolitics posted Paul Sperry’s intensely reported account of the Mueller investigation from the perspective of its objects in “‘Scorched Earth’: Mueller’s Targets Speak Out.” Sperry prefaced his report: Now that [Special Counsel Robert] Mueller has ended his probe finding no election collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, 10 witnesses and targets of his sprawling, $35 million investigation agreed to speak with RealClearInvestigations because they no longer feel in legal jeopardy. They include several people who became household names during the two-year probe – including George Papadopoulos, Carter Page and Roger Stone – as well as lesser-known figures whose lives

The gap between Texas’ Hispanic and white populations continued to narrow last year when the state gained almost nine Hispanic residents for every additional white resident. With Hispanics expected to become the largest population group in Texas as soon as 2022, new population estimates released Thursday by the U.S. Census Bureau showed the Hispanic population climbed to nearly 11.4 million — an annual gain of 214,736 through July 2018 and an increase of 1.9 million since 2010. The white population, meanwhile, grew by just 24,075 last year. Texas still has a bigger white population — up to 11.9 million last year — but it has only grown by roughly 484,000 since 2010.

“We must stop asking what the Earth can do for us,” newly elected President Jay Inslee concluded in his inaugural address, “and start considering what we must do for the Earth.” Inslee had launched his campaign two years earlier as a longshot, single-issue candidate. But events rapidly outpaced what had begun as a boutique candidacy intended to call attention to climate change. In the spring of 2020, another record Mississippi River flood, a brutal tornado season, drought in the Northwest, and a series of damaging thunderstorms in the Northeast brought battleground primary states into Inslee’s camp. As Democrats gathered for their convention in Milwaukee that July,

When the final chapter of the Russia collusion caper is written, it is likely two seminal documents the FBI used to justify investigating Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign will turn out to be bunk. And the behavior of FBI agents and federal prosecutors who promoted that faulty evidence may disturb us more than we now know. The first, the Christopher Steele dossier, has received enormous attention. And the more scrutiny it receives, the more its truthfulness wanes. Its credibility has declined so much that many now openly question how the FBI used it to support a surveillance warrant against the Trump campaign in October 2016.

Is Kamala Harris telling the
truth about her Berkeley days?

Jimmy Carter said he doesn’t believe President Trump won the 2016 election legitimately. Speaking at a Carter Center conference on human rights on Friday, the former president said a full investigation into Russian interference “would show that Trump didn’t actually win the election in 2016.” “He lost the election and he was put into office because the Russians interfered on his behalf,” Carter said.

Megan Rapinoe, star forward for the women’s U.S. national soccer team, seems to hate the world. She goes around with a scowl permanently etched into her weathered face. Though an outstanding soccer player, Megs has it in her head that she’s getting cheated, and that the cheater is Donald Trump. So she refused to go to the White House if the team wins the women’s World Cup. Trump then extended an invitation to the team whether they win or lose and of course Megan took it with ill grace. The girl has no graces, only grimaces.

A new bill would calculate potential costs of reparations — and by Yahoo Finance estimates, these could reach as high as $17.1 trillion. Last week, the House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights and Civil Liberties held the first hearing in a decade on H.R. 40, the Commission to Study and Develop Reparation Proposals for African-Americans Act. The bill was first introduced in 1989 by former Congressman John Conyers (D-MI). Conyers reintroduced the bill each year until his retirement in 2017 — and each year, the bill languished in Congress. The bill’s focus was not to pass reparations, but

A high-profile conservative leader called Thursday for the impeachment of Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. after he provided the crucial fifth vote in the Supreme Court decision heading off President Trump’s goal of including a question on citizenship on the 2020 census. Matt Schlapp, chairman of the American Conservative Union and husband of top Trump White House aide Mercedes Schlapp, said the ruling showed the chief justice was not the conservative-minded jurist he’d been touted to be, noting his previous decision essentially preserving Obamacare. “I’m for impeaching the chief justice for lying to all of us about his support

U.S. District Judge Haywood Gilliam issued the permanent injunction in a California federal court, after initially ruling last month to temporarily halt the administration’s use of military funds for the border wall.

Yet another HUGE story that has been largely ignored by the mainstream media. Thankfully, OAN has been following the ongoing developments that outline how former Obama officials in conjunction with multiple contacts in Congress, have recently been caught working with Iranian officials to defeat the remarkably successful Trump administration’s actions in isolating and possibly hastening the collapse of the #1 sponsor of state terrorism that is the Iranian regime. Let that sink in. Former Obama officials and current members of Congress are working to support and maintain one of the worst human rights violators in the entire world.

2020 contender Kamala Harris came out swinging with a memorable performance in the second night of Democratic debates in Miami. It was Harris' confrontation with former Vice President Joe Biden where she pressured to get him on the record on his past support of segregation-endorsing Democrats and as well as his past stance against busing to desegregate public schools, that left a mark on would-be voters' minds. In an interview with "CBS This Morning" Friday, Harris responded to criticism from Biden's camp that the contentious moment was a "low blow." "It was about just speaking truth and as I've said
