Booker Moves Further Left On Gun Control
But Forgets This Important Tidbit

Original Article

Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) decided to move further left on gun control than his debate stage colleagues. Most of his colleagues focused on the typical gun control pushes: an assault weapons ban and a call for universal background checks. "This is something that I'm tired of and I'm tired of hearing people all they have to offer is 'thoughts and prayers.' In my faith, people say, 'faith without works' is dead," Booker said. "So we will find a way. The reason we have a problem is we've let the corporate gun lobby frame this debate. It is time that we have bold actions and a bold agenda.

Comments:

The overwhelming majority of "gun crimes" are committed with stolen guns. Instead of punishing legal gun owners, try tightening penalties for using stolen weapons and clamping down on bleeding heart judges who set criminal thugs free early.

Booker's 'Corporate Gun Lobby' has special dealers where they sell the gangbangers assault weapons without serial numbers. A very lucrative business model.

Again, they punish those who would dutifully follow the law while the gang bangers don't follow the law. I doubt the 17 year old who bought his piece in an alley is going to pay much attention, and these are the folks doing the vast majority of the killing. Also, by what criteria is he suggesting people are allowed or disallowed their license. A person on anti depressants? A person who is being treated by a psychologist? What?

Most of us, if not all of us, have have heard the sage advice: "Don't cut off your nose to spite your face." Senator Booker and his Leftist pals have cut off not only their noses, but their ears and eyebrows and lips and the list goes on. None of this will help them win in 2020. The face of the Democrat Party no longer looks human.

The reason we have a problem has nothing to do with any corporate gun lobby. Violent gun crimes are committed by criminals. Most of them young black youths. Booker ought to be talking about the violent black gangster culture. I'm sure most of the black youths do not get background checks when they acquire their guns.

Booker painted a picture of himself living in the hood. He also sa9id his parents couldn't purchase a house in NJ because they were black. Here is a dose of reality for Booker. His parents were executives at IBM. People who work there joke that IBM stands for I been Moved. (IBM used to transfer lots of employees, and had a well honed generous relocation process, buying and selling houses for employees. the Senator with the stepnfetchit eyes, lied.)

If you ask me to pick a winner at the Democratic debate on night two in Miami, I would have said Pete Buttigieg. He came off as reasonable, clear-thinking, pithy, and pleasant. He respected time limits. I didn't agree with him on anything, but he gave a sense of coming from rational grounding. Maybe his leftie ideas could be tempered with real-world realities. Maybe he could be persuaded... But then, then, then, then...he couldn't stop himself. The transcript: We have to talk about one other thing, the Republican Party likes to cloak itself in the language of religion.

While in deep blue Democratic Chicago last weekend, Eric Trump, son of President Donald J. Trump (R), dined in an upscale, highly acclaimed, trendy Chicago restaurant and bar. In the course of the evening, a waitress, although undoubtedly trained in customer service, could not overcome the liberal mindset and behavior patterns of non-inclusiveness, intolerance, and harsh physical action against the opposition. She spat on Trump. Being the gentleman he is, Trump declined to press charges, although the police encouraged him to do so. The waitress was suspended, meaning she just might return to her old job once the publicity has disappeared. Therefore, according to liberal thinking,

There are approximately 1 million people illegally in the United States who have been ordered to leave by a judge. These illegal aliens have had due process, their day in court, and many have even lost on appeal. They have received more protections of their “rights” by having access to America’s judicial system than an illegal alien would receive in most other countries. The Left constantly argues that illegal aliens are Americans who simply haven’t received the proper paperwork. But we expect Americans to obey the law, and particularly to conform to judicial orders. In fact, we impose fines, sanctions, and even jail time when people fail to follow court-issued orders.

She also omitted the fact that California has an “assault weapons” ban, yet the shootings continue. She said, “We can also double down on the research and find out what really works.”
