‘Extinction Rebellion’ Climate Activists
to Shut Down Heathrow for
10 Days in Drone Attack

Original Article

The climate change activist group Extinction Rebellion is planning a series of protests using drones to shut down Heathrow Airport for 10 days in July, unless plans to expand the airport are scrapped. The group has threatened to hold a one-day demonstration on the 18th of June, with ten days of disruption planned from July 1st if their demands are not met. This threatens hundreds of thousands of passengers’ journeys, most going on their summer holidays, and it is expected it would cost millions of pounds in policing.

After the one-day demonstration, you'll know who they are and if they disrupt the airport operations like they say they're going to, you'll know who to arrest.

#5 is correct. The British judicial system is a joke. The judges give murderers only a handful of years in prison and the police no longer even respond to burglaries...you file your own report. Now, criticize Muslims or other 'minority' and you will have the coppers pounding on your door in minutes.

Excuse me, don't these drones operate on well know radio frequencies? How difficult is it to either take over control (perhaps the drones are coded) or simply overload the receivers with high powered signals.

Yep Ditto #12 a few timed intermittent blasts on their control frequencies would take most of them down. Walking through the crowd and punching everybody you see with a drone controller would take out the rest.

The Heathrow spokesman just had to say that they agree that we need to act on climate change, they just disagreed with the methods employed by the eco-terrorists. Translation: very little is going to be done to stop the shut down. When did Brits become such pansies?

Some drones can be programmed to fly a preselected flight path, although they use GPS to navigate. Jamming GPS or spoofing it to fake out the elevation info may be possible to crash them. Let's hope that the military has SOME way to deal with this.

President Trump and his defenders can successfully attack former Special Counsel Robert Mueller or congressional Democrats on impeachment – but not both. The independent voters who will decide the 2020 election don’t have time for multiple sets of arguments. Moreover, independent voters have limited interest in all things political. So the president and his advocates should keep it simple and focus on Congress, not Mueller, who resigned Wednesday. Mueller didn’t say anything when he spoke to journalists Wednesday that hadn’t already appeared in his report. That was the point of his news conference.
