Today on CBS Attorney General William Barr disclosed that the Huber investigation is over. Huber was assigned to look at FISA applications and the electronic surveillance during the 2016 election and actions by Hillary Clinton. Huber did not even start his investigation. He didn’t do a d**n thing! AG Barr said this morning on CBS News that Huber did nothing and his work was taken over by the team he set up under US Attorney John Durham: JAN CRAWFORD: Um, what’s the status of Huber’s investigation in Utah? I think the former Attorney General Sessions had asked him to look at this.

If he wasn't doing anything, it's a good thing he's off the case.

Anybody paying attention knew Huber was doing nothing. All witnesses who should have been called to testify to what they knew never heard a peep from Huber. This revelation comes as no surprise and let's hope evidence was not being destroyed in the interim.

A blessing in disguise. I trust AG Barr to flush out the deadwood and bring in competent players.

Sadly, there never was any intention for Huber to do anything. The fault lies where he was appointed - Sessions. Sessions continues to surprise. It is obvious his recusal was no thoughtless error made in haste.

Two thoughts. Did he get paid while doing nothing? How much? Maybe the Clinton Mafia put a horse head in his bed. This smells really bad. Make him pay back the money he took. That is stealing.

That headline is not what Barr told Crawford. The entire Transcript was posted from CTH yesterday, along with the complete recording.
Huber was to take referrals fed to him by IG Horowitz and was said to have a grand jury ready. Horowitz was not a prosecutor; Huber was to be the prosecutor. I’m getting the impression that no one was referred to him.
Durham is now in charge. He is said to be very tough. Let’s stop feeding off reports on reports and see what comes next.

I am still dismayed by Jeff Sessions. Remember during the Bush years when he almost single-handed fought off the gang of eight amnesty? He was always at the forefront in the immigration fight during those years. When President Trump named him AG I thought we’d really see some changes for the better but the man was neutered almost immediately. And it never got any better it just wasted almost two years of Trumps presidency before he could get rid of him. Someday I’d really like to know what was done to Jeff Sessions to emasculate him so thoroughly.

The Deep State obviously had something on Sessions that totally emasculated him. Or, he is the greatest actor of the century.

Sessions=never Trumper. Many of us saw that from the beginning when he "recused". I can't believe PDT kept him around that long.

Get used to it. As time heals all wounds, this too shall pass. (Enough with the cliche's already) . Everyone will continue to tip toe around the fact our country was betrayed, hoping it will fade from memory before anyone has to go to jail. Any democrats, communists or muslims that is.

As I noted here in the past, my best friend of 60 years died of alzheiimer's in 2016, and his befuddled demeanor
in his final 2 years looked much like Jeff Sessions demeanor. Both appeared overwhelmed by conversationjs, and thought processes were weak.
I will not be surprised if Sessions is not on the same path as my friend. Sessions is a sad little man.

#'s 10 and 11, CTH has put out several articles posted on Lucianne about the illegal FISA-702 searchs through the NSA database by gov't contractors and Obama's FBI and other intel people since 2012. I'm certain that they discovered some little juicy tidbit of salacious intel on Mr. Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III.

Huber, based in Utah, was probably told to stand down by Mitt Romney. Sessions was a weak AG and should have fired Huber if he was not doing his job. What were they doing here, perhaps running out the clock on statute of limitations on Hillary & company?

I read that months ago that Huber didn't interview anyone. Lets not forget these two IG Horowtiz and Huber are both Democrats.

Well, #10, as much as we tried to make excuses for Sessions, in the end there is a simple answer. Mr. Trump, the late Justice Scalia, Justice Clarence Thomas, and hey the former Governor of Alaska just to name a few all have suffered continuous serious threats of danger to themselves and family. A lot of it we will never know. They have never backed up one inch. The ones who are Christians have that promise of God’s protection and decided to trust Him and do the right and courageous things anyway. Choices.

Further proof of the level of total disaster that Sessions was. I think more and more
that Sessions was a Deep State agent, planted in the campaign from the early days,
there to spy and sabotage as much as he could.
I used to respect Sessions, now I really despise him.

Thank you, AG Barr!!! It's what we all knew for a long time !! Incompetent liar Sessions was about the worst appointment made to any office ever! AND this boy scout knew he was lying when he stated that Huber was going to come out with his 'report'.... right! Crawl back under the rock where you came from Sessions you traitor!

Both Huber and Sessions need to spend the rest of their lives in prison for treason or better yet death by hanging.

Jeff Sessions needs to answer some questions under oath.
I've done my personal best to maintain a level of respect for him, but I've not seen anything that suggests that he actually did his job.

My best answer to # 10 is that Sessions was totally bum[bleeped] at his confirmation hearing and went into fetal position thereafter. No tin foil hat stuff. He was a very fragile personality who pretty much fell apart in a high profile executive position which became a hot seat, given the other side's intention to destroy Trump

In the end, this will be a blessing. Huber, if he had done anything would have buried anything he found. Since he did nothing, Durham can start with a clean slate and do it the good way.
Barr is trying to be a nice guy and not diss Huber but he is still moving the useless people out of the way. I suspect that Mueller was handled in a similar way. He was asked what legal evidence he had for a criminal case, which is the ONLY thing a prosecutor should be looking for. Mueller said, nothing criminal but I have a few things that bother me. Barr asks, criminal things? Mueller responds, well no. Barr says, well since criminality is all we are looking at, you should be able to wrap up quickly. Correct? And that was the end of Mueller.

I believe John Huber is an Obama appointee. He was brought into the picture by DC “Swamp Rat” Jeff Sessions who has shown from the get-go that he is the worst personnel selection that President Trump has ever made.
