No ‘treason.’ No coup.
Just lies — and dumb lies at that.

It is tempting for normal people to ignore our president when he starts ranting about treason and corruption at the FBI. I understand the temptation. I’m the object of many of his rants, and even I try to ignore him. But we shouldn’t, because millions of good people believe what a president of the United States says. In normal times, that’s healthy. But not now, when the president is a liar who doesn’t care what damage he does to vital institutions. We must call out his lies that the FBI was corrupt and committed treason, that we spied on the Trump campaign and tried to defeat Donald Trump.

Comments:

This sanctimonious piece of garbage gets paid for writing his defense. We'll see if these op-eds save his sorry skin.

The only lies I see are the ones that are constantly spewing forth from Comey and his pals. Was Trump spied on? Yes. DId the FBI, CIA and NSA spy on Americans without FISA warrants? Yes they did. These are crimes, Mr Comey, and your weeping about a President who is a liar just doesn't wash. He has been right at every turn. he is willing to show us the documents. What are you afraid of? The hysteria among the left is becoming evident and the reason for Hillary's statement on the eve of the election comes into focus. Just to remind folks, she said, "If this guy gets elected, we will all hang." Apparently Hillary was well aware of the punishment for treason. Perhaps you should be as well, Mr Comey.

At this point Cardinal Comey has become a self-righteous windbag trying to save his own hide. The evidence clearly points to his guilt and it is a doozy, sedition. What he and his fellow criminals fail to grasp is that the American people are more than capable of understanding the evidence exposed so far. We are not the ignorant rubes that he can convince of his innocence by his lofty oratory. He is off putting and comes across as holier than thou when, in fact, he has been exposed as nothing more than an arrogant fool who believes he is above the law. He is betting that the Deep State can save his sorry behind, but my money’s on this administration who owes nothing to that cabal and will advocate for the Constitution and rule of law, AG Barr knows that he has the power to restore integrity to our government by the actions he will take against those who would defy our laws and Constitution. Nothing like this has ever been attempted in the history of our country and it should be met with the very harshest of punishments.

Comey is trying to get out in front of the coming indictments like his opinions are more important than the evidence. I have never bought into the Russian election interference story. Any of it. There is no proof that Russians hacked the DNC server. Other than buying some Facebook ads what, exactly, did they do to sway the election? Hillary didn’t need Russia’s help to lose.

President Trump has been clear about the problem at the FBI. He saluted the rank and file members, (although I'm not so sure about those people) but has been critical of the leadership there, where several top people have been forced out for inappropriate behavior. I really would like to see the corrupt coward Comey stuck in a cell at a maximum security prison, not a country club federal prison, sharing a cell with the mighty muslim, John Brennan, and the peculiar little general, Elmer Fudd.

I have to admit Jimmy you sure do deliver a lie with the appearance of conviction. But at the moment I have another flavor of conviction for you. Your lies fall apart right out of the blocks. When a spy was found in Feinstein's inner circle she was told. I shouldn't have to finish that with the contrast of the case with Trump. And it just gets deeper from there. But damn you are slick. Most unfortunately how things are said carries far too much weight compared to what is said since the advent of television.

Hillary and Huma knowingly had 30,000 possible messages. She destroyed her computers! They gave Anthony Weiner access. Millions of people believe there was a coup attempt. It was not a rogue operation. The head of the FBI and the head of the CIA follow orders, and there aren't many people they have to take orders from. Those orders came from one person: Obama. The last Democrat nominee for President (Clinton) was in on it. The likely next Democrat nominee for President (Biden) was also likely in on the coup. This is treason. When people like Comey and Brennan run their mouths, and the Washington Post provides a platform, they are running a coverup. The Washington Post was in on the coup as well, btw. There are also other publications involved too. They all deserve jail. This was a coup, and it is treason. Keep on lying, Comey. Nobody believes you, and everything you say can be used against you. Anything you say can be used against you, Comey. Does that sound familiar? Every criminal hears it.

It is convenient for Comey that he did not mention that George Papadopolous was approached with "information" from FBI informants posing as people in the know about Russia's possession of Hillary's emails in the SPRING of 2016. Why was this done? What made them think the Trump campaign was going to take this bait? Was it a set-up? Sure sounds like one.

As Lenin once wrote: "A lie told often enough becomes the truth." Sorry, but St. James Comey leaves out the fact that the so-called Trump "staffer" who "knew all about the Russian connection" got THAT information from ... hold on ... an FBI operative who told him the Russians had Hillary's emails!! Then he (George Papadopoulos) showed his immaturity and inexperience by repeating that piece of planted data to ANOTHER operative --- wait for it --- working for the CIA!! That guy used this circular logic to report back to the FBI that Trump's team was obviously "working with the Russians". Thus, the main excuse for Comey to dig into Trump. The main reason this so-called "op-ed" was written (by someone other than Comey) and printed by Jeff Bezos was to get everyone on the same page of the story. Comey can't call Andrew McCabe, Brennan, Clapper, et al as their lines are taped and he wants to avoid witness tampering. So, instead he goes "public" with the story everyone needs to stick to! Like teenage boys caught looking in your daughter's bedroom window at night, they all say they heard her cry out for help and were just trying to be heroes. Yeah, right.

Here we are in the midst of a once-in-a-half-century pandemic, with the economy flattened, millions of people unemployed, and unrest on the streets of our cities. And President-elect Joe Biden says that one of his highest priorities as president will be to reenter the Paris climate accord. President Trump kept his "put America first" promise and pulled the United States out of this Obama-era treaty. Biden wants us back in. Why? Paris is an unmitigated failure. You don't have to take my word for it. National Geographic, a supporter of climate change action, recently ran the numbers and admitted in its recent headline: "Most countries aren't hitting 2030 climate goals."

It reminds me of that old saying which I think was from Einstein, “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.” Polling, at least the old-school style, is over. Done. I don’t need to go through a long list of reasons why nobody should take pollsters seriously anymore, but a few data points are instructive.
Implications of the Flynn Pardon 11 replies

President Trump granted a pardon to Michael Flynn, his former national-security adviser, today. Flynn had pled guilty to lying to FBI agents about conversations, during the 2016 transition, with the Russian ambassador about sanctions. Flynn’s pardon should bring to an end one gross violation of the Constitution’s separation of powers, even as it gives rise to groundless accusations of another. Although Flynn had pled guilty, the circumstances of the case had raised serious concerns about whether the government had proceeded properly. The FBI, for example, questioned Flynn even though it did not appear he had violated any law. In May, Attorney General William Barr ordered the case dropped.

There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred. After weeks of hype, CBS finally televised Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah.
