It is tempting for normal people to ignore our president when he starts ranting about treason and corruption at the FBI. I understand the temptation. I’m the object of many of his rants, and even I try to ignore him. But we shouldn’t, because millions of good people believe what a president of the United States says. In normal times, that’s healthy. But not now, when the president is a liar who doesn’t care what damage he does to vital institutions. We must call out his lies that the FBI was corrupt and committed treason, that we spied on the Trump campaign and tried to defeat Donald Trump.

Comments:

This sanctimonious piece of garbage gets paid for writing his defense. We'll see if these op-eds save his sorry skin.

The only lies I see are the ones that are constantly spewing forth from Comey and his pals. Was Trump spied on? Yes. DId the FBI, CIA and NSA spy on Americans without FISA warrants? Yes they did. These are crimes, Mr Comey, and your weeping about a President who is a liar just doesn't wash. He has been right at every turn. he is willing to show us the documents. What are you afraid of? The hysteria among the left is becoming evident and the reason for Hillary's statement on the eve of the election comes into focus. Just to remind folks, she said, "If this guy gets elected, we will all hang." Apparently Hillary was well aware of the punishment for treason. Perhaps you should be as well, Mr Comey.

Nothing to see here. All the mounting evident that I participated in a treasonous coup attempt is just a bunch of easily dis-proven lies from the president. Just ignore the evidence...your Honor. Future famous testimony of James Comey at his trial.

Mr.Comey, why didn't you read Ms. Clinton her Miranda rights before questioning her regarding classified emails on her private server? Could it be you wished to secure your position in her upcoming administration by queering the investigation of her crimes?

At this point Cardinal Comey has become a self-righteous windbag trying to save his own hide. The evidence clearly points to his guilt and it is a doozy, sedition. What he and his fellow criminals fail to grasp is that the American people are more than capable of understanding the evidence exposed so far. We are not the ignorant rubes that he can convince of his innocence by his lofty oratory. He is off putting and comes across as holier than thou when, in fact, he has been exposed as nothing more than an arrogant fool who believes he is above the law. He is betting that the Deep State can save his sorry behind, but my money’s on this administration who owes nothing to that cabal and will advocate for the Constitution and rule of law, AG Barr knows that he has the power to restore integrity to our government by the actions he will take against those who would defy our laws and Constitution. Nothing like this has ever been attempted in the history of our country and it should be met with the very harshest of punishments.

What’s the matter, his book wasn’t enough to tell his side of the story? It is amazing how selective is outrage is. In normal times, that’s healthy. But not now, when the president is a liar who doesn’t care what damage he does to vital institutions. Is he talking about Obama? As for Russia, engaging in a massive interference attempt in the 2016 election, nobody disagrees with that, but it is also nothing new. Rush always interferes in our elections. What can we doesn’t talk about is that nothing Russia didn’t changed a single vote. Geez, he's getting almost as annoying as Hillary. Excuses, excuses, but they never look in a mirror.

Comey is trying to get out in front of the coming indictments like his opinions are more important than the evidence. I have never bought into the Russian election interference story. Any of it. There is no proof that Russians hacked the DNC server. Other than buying some Facebook ads what, exactly, did they do to sway the election? Hillary didn’t need Russia’s help to lose.

President Trump has been clear about the problem at the FBI. He saluted the rank and file members, (although I'm not so sure about those people) but has been critical of the leadership there, where several top people have been forced out for inappropriate behavior. I really would like to see the corrupt coward Comey stuck in a cell at a maximum security prison, not a country club federal prison, sharing a cell with the mighty muslim, John Brennan, and the peculiar little general, Elmer Fudd.

When a spy was found in Feinstein's inner circle she was told. I shouldn't have to finish that with the contrast of the case with Trump. And it just gets deeper from there. But damn you are slick. Hillary and Huma knowingly had 30,000 possible messages. She destroyed her computers! They gave Anthony Weiner access. Millions of people believe there was a coup attempt. It was not a rogue operation. The head of the FBI and the head of the CIA follow orders, and there aren't many people they have to take orders from. Those orders came from one person: Obama. The last Democrat nominee for President (Clinton) was in on it. The likely next Democrat nominee for President (Biden) was also likely in on the coup. This is treason. When people like Comey and Brennan run their mouths, and the Washington Post provides a platform, they are running a coverup. The Washington Post was in on the coup as well, btw. There are also other publications involved too. They all deserve jail. This was a coup, and it is treason. Keep on lying, Comey. Nobody believes you, and everything you say can be used against you. Anything you say can be used against you, Comey. Does that sound familiar? Every criminal hears it.

It is convenient for Comey that he did not mention that George Papadopolous was approached with "information" from FBI informants posing as people in the know about Russia's possession of Hillary's emails in the SPRING of 2016. Why was this done? What made them think the Trump campaign was going to take this bait? Was it a set-up? Sure sounds like one.

Apparently, Comey, getting shriller by the day, wants to be a martyr if he goes down, knowing that he'll find plenty of sympathy on the Left. The coup plotters who failed had the most of the press and all of the Democrats on their side. When the lot of them are revealed as either dupes, or as venal, lying guttersnipes, their political stock will crash. 2020 will be their worst dream come true. Trump 2! And goodbye House. The quislings who tried to pull off 1.) the exoneration of a guilty as hell Hillary, CYAs of all associated Obama appointees, and 3.) the defeat of Trump in the election, or 4.) the ruin of his presidency if he were to win, deserve to don sackcloth then prison orange for the world to see. Any future generation government officials tempted to do a repeat of this Obama Administration cornucopia of treason might find themselves living in a more morally serious time when punishment worse than prison will be demanded. I am buying a great bottle of champagne, a Krug, for when the insufferable narcissist Comey legally crashes and burns, and cries. (After all, he's the martyr, who went through legal hell and will rot in jail, for "us"--well, not us here.) So many of these empty-souled, wicked people have earned what's coming to them: a cloud of legal incoming arrows and political and professional extinction. Their intentions were evil; ours are righteous and our cause is more than just--it's essential to the survival of the American legal system. Let the rain fall down upon them. And may Trump, who actually is for us, triumph.

As Lenin once wrote: "A lie told often enough becomes the truth." Sorry, but St. James Comey leaves out the fact that the so-called Trump "staffer" who "knew all about the Russian connection" got THAT information from ... hold on ... an FBI operative who told him the Russians had Hillary's emails!! Then he (George Papadopoulos) showed his immaturity and inexperience by repeating that piece of planted data to ANOTHER operative --- wait for it --- working for the CIA!! That guy used this circular logic to report back to the FBI that Trump's team was obviously "working with the Russians". Thus, the main excuse for Comey to dig into Trump. The main reason this so-called "op-ed" was written (by someone other than Comey) and printed by Jeff Bezos was to get everyone on the same page of the story. Comey can't call Andrew McCabe, Brennan, Clapper, et al as their lines are taped and he wants to avoid witness tampering. So, instead he goes "public" with the story everyone needs to stick to! Like teenage boys caught looking in your daughter's bedroom window at night, they all say they heard her cry out for help and were just trying to be heroes. Yeah, right.

Ever notice how, in the last decade or so, we quietly stopped just having storms and started having “extreme weather events”? It feels like no temperature drop or seasonal downpour is too small for the media to slap a scary name on it and issue minute-by-minute warnings. Well, now some news outlets and campaigners are trying to do the exact same thing for climate change itself. “Global warming” isn’t scary enough to push through the expensive bills campaigners want. Instead of “climate change,” The Guardian has now decided to call it “climate emergency.” And the British newspaper isn’t alone: Democratic presidential candidates including Beto O’Rourke and Kamala Harris use similar language,

One way of envisioning the Democratic obsessions with Donald Trump is as an addiction. We have seen the initial impeachment efforts; the attempt to get him under the emoluments clause, the Logan Act and the 25th Amendment; the Russian collusion hoax; the Mueller investigation; the demand for his tax returns; and the psychodramas involving Michael Avenatti, Michael Cohen and Stormy Daniels. Relentless progressives have needed a new Get Trump fix about every two months. More practically, their fixation also substitutes for a collective poverty of ideas. The Democratic Party has no plan to secure the borders other than to be against whatever President Trump is for.

As he made abundantly clear during his doddering reading of a prepared statement that repeatedly contradicted itself, Mueller had no interest in the equal application of the rule of law. He gave the game, and his nakedly political intentions, away repeatedly throughout his statement. “It is important that the office’s written work speak for itself,” Mueller said, referring to his office’s 448-page report. Mueller’s report was released to the public by Attorney General William Barr nearly six weeks ago. The entire report, minus limited redactions
