This claim is so stupid that I can’t even give it one of our coveted Green Weenie Awards: Racial Resentment May Be Fueling Climate Denial. After Barack Obama took office, white Americans were less likely to see climate change as a serious problem, according to a recent paper published in the journal Environmental Politics. The study further finds evidence of a link between racial resentment and climate change denial. This is not to suggest that all climate deniers are racists, merely that racial resentment may, in part, be driving climate denial. I got curious, naturally. Here’s the abstract of the underlying “academic” paper:

Co-incidence vs. causation. My birthday is November 22, but I had nothing to do with JFK's assassination.

Since the definition of racism is: "Disagreeing with a leftard's position on anything, including their haircut', then no, there isn't anything it can't do.

Well... how about the fact that none of the BS that Al Gore spewed forth came true? Might THAT not have had some impact on those who were bright enough to try to keep score?

What half-baked drivel. Most of us reacted against the idea of man-made global warming when that nearly illiterate corpulent buffoon Al Gore began to push it in his since discredited fantasy documentary "An Inconvenient Truth". Obama had nothing to do with it.

Only a complete idiot would link climate change and racism. Of course, only a complete idiot would believe in MAN MADE climate change. I suspect that Obozo came along about the same time most people finally saw that the evidence of climate change being pushed by the lefties was all BS.

What is wrong with Hayward? Doesn't he realize that every hurricane, tsunami and typhoon only hits the low-lying coasts of countries with warm climates where only black and brown people live? Those two hurricanes zeroed in on Puerto Rico in 2017 just like they could speak Spanish. Tornadoes only hit the poor sections of Southern towns, on the other side of the railroad tracks and zero in on the trailers and shacks of black folk, it's a fact. Did you see one white face in that stadium in New Orleans during Katrina? See? The Obama connection had my sides splitting. I would wager that not one person who believed in climate change before 2008 changed his mind after the lightfooted doorknob took office.

Conservative activists are calling out America’s largest financial institution charging they are being targeted. JPMorgan Chase is under fire for closing the bank accounts of several customers in the conservative movement as other right-wingers are threatening to close their accounts unless the bank plays nice. “If Jamie Dimon can’t absolutely guarantee that Chase Bank won’t ever discriminate against conservatives, conservatives should consider banking elsewhere,” warned David Almasi, vice president of the conservative-leaning National Center for Public Policy Research, referring to JPMorgan’s chairman and CEO.

Most people understand that kids just want to be kids. While adults run around squabbling over politics and careers, the childhood years are a time to develop and grow free of the complexities of adulthood. But at an elementary school in Oregon, a teacher is being accused of trying to push her sexual views and politics onto a student, all hidden from parents. To make matters worse, the student was only eight years old at the time. “Parents in Woodburn said their 8-year-old son was held back from recess multiple times for one-on-one conversations about his gender identity,”

A heroic high school senior who wants to join the Marines helped tackle one of the shooters who left one classmate dead and eight others wounded at a Denver-area school, according to a report. Brendan Bialy and other fellow students managed to disarm one of the two gunmen who opened fire at the STEM School Highlands Ranch, which sits just seven miles from Columbine High School in Littleton. “We are deeply saddened for the victims, families, friends, and community on this tragic day,” the Bialy family told NBC News in an emailed statement issued by lawyer Mark L. Rep. Al Green (D., Texas) said on Saturday that if Democrats don´t begin impeachment proceedings against President Donald Trump, "he will get re-elected."Green, who has called for Trump´s removal from office since 2017 and introduced articles of impeachment that year, told MSNBC that he dismissed the idea that impeaching Trump could help him politically. "I´m concerned if we don´t impeach this president, he will get re-elected. If we don´t impeach him, he will say he´s been vindicated," Green said. "He will say the Democrats had an overwhelming majority in the House and they didn´t take up impeachment.

More Florida classroom teachers could carry guns in school under a bill passed Wednesday by state lawmakers, the latest response to last year’s mass shooting at a Parkland high school. The Republican-led House voted 65-47 on Wednesday to send the bill to GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis, who is expected to sign it. The measure expands an existing school “guardian” program to allow any teacher to volunteer to carry a weapon if their local school district approves. “It allows the good guys to stop the bad. The bad guys will never know when

During the trip, a tractor-trailer is seen swallowed by a pothole. They pass a shut-down Kodak plant in Rochester as people snap selfies. While TSA agents say they’re not discriminating against women of color, their equipment has been doing otherwise, according to new report from ProPublica. Those futuristic full-body scanners — the ones that require you to put your hands over your head inside a human-sized cylinder — have proven inadequate when it comes to screening African-American hair, ProPublica’s Brenda Medina and Thomas Frank found. They often result in false positives, which lead to a “hair pat-down,” Washington D.C. resident Dorian Wanzer, who frequently has her hair searched, told ProPublica.

It began as a minor dispute over a free pizza. But when the police got involved, a Colonie mother ended up in handcuffs and thrown in jail for three nights due to a "clerical error" on an arrest warrant that should have listed her ex-boyfriend. "I just missed three days of my life, plus Easter with my children," Jessica L. Donovan said. "It was rough. ... I felt so degraded." At the county jail, Donovan — who had never been arrested before — was booked, fingerprinted, photographed, given a prisoner jumpsuit and issued a test for tuberculosis.

He’s getting to write his wrong. A Brooklyn gangbanger got busted with a loaded, stolen revolver in a caught-on-video incident — but a softie judge cut him loose with little more than a homework assignment, The Post has learned. Judge Ellen Edwards rejected a prosecution request to set bail at $25,000 for Ismail Abraham, 18, following his arrest in East New York, law-enforcement sources said on Friday. Instead, Edwards gave Abraham an 8 p.m. curfew and told him to compose a “report on gun violence in the community,” sources said. It was unclear how many pages Abraham has to write,

A former lawyer for the Obama White House will go on trial this summer for allegedly lying about his lobbying work for Ukraine. A federal judge in Washington, DC, set Greg Craig’s trial for Aug. 12. The charges against Craig reportedly stem from Ukraine hiring him and his former law firm in 2012 for work related to then-Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych’s jailing of a political opponent. The case against Craig grew out of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 US presidential election. Craig has entered a not guilty plea to the charges.

Gay representation has certainly come a long way from Patrick Stewart and Steven Weber in the classic 1995 gay film, “Jeffrey.” That same year, Patrick Swayze, John Leguizamo, and Wesley Snipes shocked audiences with their hilarious and stunningly relatable performances as urban drag queens taking a long road trip across middle America in “To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar.” And of course, who could forget Robin William’s heartfelt comedy performance in “The Birdcage”the following year? These movies were promises of societal acceptance as big-name, straight actors played proud gay characters for straight audiences who laughed, cheered, and empathized with them.

We ate lunch at a Chick-fil-A today. When we entered the restaurant, the first thing we saw was an empty table that was set up to honor fallen military personnel over the Memorial Day weekend. There was a red rose, a folded flag, an inverted glass and an open Bible, along with text explaining the elements of the display. Click to enlarge:(Snip for photo) Chick-fil-A is unabashedly pro-American. I suspect that is the real reason for the animus that so many liberals bear against the company.
