He broke my heart in the Ice Bowl game, but always struck me as a fine and gracious gentleman. RIP, and sincere condolences to his family.

Rest in peace, Bart. One of my very few sports 'heroes'. I haven't cared much about football at all since he quit playing.

My dad's favorite. In the sixties I would take Johnny Unitas of the Baltimore Colts for the sake of contest. That was football.

I followed the Packers and Steelers (my home team) for many years. Since the SJW movement, my interest has dwindled to almost nothing. Rich jocks, black and white, beating girlfriends and shacking up, only people like Philip Rivers remain as any kind of salt in that rotting sport. Add in the ruinous amount of commercials, booth reviews, and pass plays...There are many other ways I now spend my time.

RIP Bart. Can you imagine Vince Lombardi (or George Halas, Paul Brown, et. al.) trying to coach the prima donnas and criminals in today's NFL?

Bart was one of the greats and nothing like the NFL produces today. #MeToo, #7. Terry Bradshaw and the gang turned many a Sunday afternoon from imminent disaster to glorious victory for me. Can't get that excited any more.

Bart Star was my guy growing up in the 60's! I lived in Iowa and had the Vikings, Bears and Packers to cheer for. Starr was always such a class act and always won when he got the opportunity. Loved him. His gentle sole and brilliant skills and mind will be missed! RIP Sir!

Former Obama White House Counsel and Clinton-linked attorney Greg Craig may soon be charged by the Justice Department for engaging in illegal unregistered overseas lobbying, in a case initially probed by Special Counsel Robert Mueller -- a development that would make him the first Democrat to face prosecution amid the long-running Russia investigation. The case centers on lobbying work that Craig performed in 2012 for the Russian-backed president of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovych, while Craig was a partner at the law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. Craig allegedly never registered as a foreign agent

My first rich boy pulled down my underpants. My last rich boy pulled down my tights. My first rich boy — I had fixed my eyes on his face long enough to know — was beautiful, with dark gray eyes and long golden-brown hair across his forehead. I don’t know what he grew up to be. My last rich boy was blond. He grew up to be the president of the United States. The first rich boy’s name was James. He was raped by his grandfather. He was raped by his uncles. He was beaten by his father. My mother told me the stories much later.

House Democrats thought they had an easy issue for rallying the black vote: bringing up reparations for slavery as an election issue and holding congressional hearings. What better way to rally coveted black voters than to hold out a big pile of reparations money along with lot of talk about victimization derived from evils committed in the past? It didn't work out the way they thought it would. A large number of Black intellectuals and pundits weighed in, not just at the hearing, but on Twitter and beyond, making a hash of the Democrat "narrative." Quillette columnist Coleman Hughes, who's a Black Democrat, argued in testimony

Drivers will be forced off the roads in Ireland and the population packed into “higher density” cities under a long-awaited climate plan which will ‘revolutionise’ people’s lifestyle and behaviours, according to local media. “Nudge” policies such as huge tax hikes, as well as bans and red tape outlined in the plan, will pave the way to a “vibrant” Ireland of zero carbon emissions by 2050 according to the government, which last year committed to boost the country’s 4.7 million-strong population by a further million with mass migration. In order to avert a “climate apocalypse”, the government plans

‘Third World” is now an anachronistic geographical term of the old Cold War. But after 1989, “Third World” was reinvented from a political noun into an adjective to mean more than just Asian, African, and Latin American nations nonaligned with either the West or the Soviet bloc. Rather, the current modifier “Third World” has come to transcend geography, politics, and ethnicity. It simply denotes poor failed states all over the globe of all races and religions. Third World symptomologies are predictably corrupt government, unequal or nonexistent applicability of the law, two rather than three classes, and the return of medieval diseases

The Left’s reparations strategy is working as intended: The push for slavery reparations is all about anger, not justice. In the face of the prosperity Donald Trump has brought, the Democrats worry about their dependence in high turnout and 90%+ voting support from African-Americans. (snip) The one emotion that can both unite group solidarity and drive people to vote is anger. I the current economy satisfies people, then some other source must be found, for as Saul Alinksy taught them, “it's up to us to go in and rub raw the sores of discontent, galvanize them for radical social change.”

President Donald Trump confirmed Friday he pulled back a military strike on Iran after he learned the number of possible casualties. “We were cocked & loaded to retaliate last night on three different sights (sic),” Trump revealed on Twitter. The attack was planned in retaliation for Iran shooting down a U.S. surveillance drone on Thursday in international waters.Trump said prior to the strikes he was told by a general the casualties could be up to 150 people. “Ten minutes before the strike I stopped it, not proportionate to shooting down an unmanned drone,” he wrote. Absolutely," Sanders responded. "When I talk about health care being a human right,

Women would bear the brunt of the Trump administration’s proposed tariffs on apparel coming from China, according to J.C. Penney Co. “Though surely inadvertent, the disproportionate impact of the proposed List 4 tariffs on women is striking,” the retailer said in a letter to the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative. The department-store chain listed 26 priority items, ranging from footwear to Christmas ornaments, that are poised to be hit. It said imposing the tariffs will drive up costs, which will be a burden for J.C. Penney’s core customers -- middle-class working women. Of the priority goods, 13 are apparel

The 448-page Mueller report has been public for two months, so it might seem strange that the Justice Department's original instructions to special counsel Robert Mueller, outlining what he was assigned to investigate, are still a secret. But they are. And now, it turns out those instructions were more extensive than previously known. Until now, it was widely understood that there had been two "scope memos" from the DOJ to Mueller. Now, it turns out there was a third, as well. When Mueller was first appointed, on May 17, 2017, the appointment document, signed by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, authorized Mueller to investigate three areas: "i) any links and/or

During a closed-door testimony on Wednesday, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler just couldn't quite remember Hope Hicks’ name. He knew exactly what he was doing, though. The New York Democrat addressed Hicks as "Ms. Lewandowski" three times, insulting her while he questioned her about Corey Lewandowski, President Trump’s former campaign manager with whom Hicks was alleged to have had an affair.
