I remember Bart Starr during my childhood. I always thought of him as a good person, RIP Bart. The NFL needs many more like him, especially today.

He broke my heart in the Ice Bowl game, but always struck me as a fine and gracious gentleman. RIP, and sincere condolences to his family.

Rest in peace, Bart. One of my very few sports 'heroes'. I haven't cared much about football at all since he quit playing.

My dad's favorite. In the sixties I would take Johnny Unitas of the Baltimore Colts for the sake of contest. That was football.

I followed the Packers and Steelers (my home team) for many years. Since the SJW movement, my interest has dwindled to almost nothing. Rich jocks, black and white, beating girlfriends and shacking up, only people like Philip Rivers remain as any kind of salt in that rotting sport. Add in the ruinous amount of commercials, booth reviews, and pass plays...There are many other ways I now spend my time.

RIP Bart. Can you imagine Vince Lombardi (or George Halas, Paul Brown, et. al.) trying to coach the prima donnas and criminals in today's NFL?

Bart was one of the greats and nothing like the NFL produces today. #MeToo, #7. Terry Bradshaw and the gang turned many a Sunday afternoon from imminent disaster to glorious victory for me. Can't get that excited any more.

Bart Star was my guy growing up in the 60's! I lived in Iowa and had the Vikings, Bears and Packers to cheer for. Starr was always such a class act and always won when he got the opportunity. Loved him. His gentle sole and brilliant skills and mind will be missed! RIP Sir!

Former Obama White House Counsel and Clinton-linked attorney Greg Craig may soon be charged by the Justice Department for engaging in illegal unregistered overseas lobbying, in a case initially probed by Special Counsel Robert Mueller -- a development that would make him the first Democrat to face prosecution amid the long-running Russia investigation. The case centers on lobbying work that Craig performed in 2012 for the Russian-backed president of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovych, while Craig was a partner at the law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. Craig allegedly never registered as a foreign agent

The presidential election is in full swing. If this were any other year, I’d be working to help reelect the Republican incumbent, hoping he would stay focused on advancing a solid free-market regulatory policy. I served on the campaign team for John McCain in 2008, on the economic-policy team of Mitt Romney in 2012, and on Donald Trump’s transition team in 2016, before I resigned over policy differences.

Gay representation has certainly come a long way from Patrick Stewart and Steven Weber in the classic 1995 gay film, “Jeffrey.” That same year, Patrick Swayze, John Leguizamo, and Wesley Snipes shocked audiences with their hilarious and stunningly relatable performances as urban drag queens taking a long road trip across middle America in “To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar.” And of course, who could forget Robin William’s heartfelt comedy performance in “The Birdcage”the following year? These movies were promises of societal acceptance as big-name, straight actors played proud gay characters for straight audiences who laughed, cheered, and empathized with them.

Thank God this woman is not President! Hillary Clinton was spotted walking in the Newcastle Memorial Day parade in Chappaqua looking like an old grandma in a blue muumuu with black leggings. We really dodged a bullet. (Tweet/Photos) Bill Clinton and NY Governor Andrew Cuomo were also spotted marching in the parade — and Bill Clinton looked terrible. (Tweet) Thank God Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton and kept these two out of the White House!

Democratic Sen. Amy Klobuchar said the late Sen. John McCain compared President Donald Trump to notable dictators aloud during the president's 2017 inauguration ceremony. Speaking in Iowa on a campaign stop ahead of the 2020 presidential election, Klobuchar said she was seated next to Democratic Sen. Bernie Sanders and longtime Republican McCain, who "knew more than any of us what we were facing as a nation." "I sat on that stage between Bernie and John McCain, and John McCain kept reciting to me names of dictators during that speech because he knew more than any of us what we were

Why Liberals Hate Chick-fil-A 19 replies

We ate lunch at a Chick-fil-A today. When we entered the restaurant, the first thing we saw was an empty table that was set up to honor fallen military personnel over the Memorial Day weekend. There was a red rose, a folded flag, an inverted glass and an open Bible, along with text explaining the elements of the display. Click to enlarge:(Snip for photo) Chick-fil-A is unabashedly pro-American. I suspect that is the real reason for the animus that so many liberals bear against the company. There was a time when liberals were generally patriotic. George McGovern is a good example: he was wrong on just

Either Hillary Clinton has a weird sense of humor, or she’s awfully uptight. In a tweet posted Sunday morning, the failed 2016 Democrat presidential nominee and former secretary of state complained to Habsro about the approved words list for its game Scrabble. And in doing so, she took some shots at President Donald Trump and his attorney Rudy Giuliani. “Earlier this month, Scrabble updated its list of approved words for game play for the first time in four years (‘ivesssapology’ and ‘covfefe’ were not among them),” she wrote. “But those changes aren’t yet reflected in the Scrabble app. 👎 Where are we on this, @Hasbro?” Look:

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) ate it last week. No, it wasn’t about the Green New Deal, which is a recipe for economic disaster; it was a poorly executed counterattack against…the media. Yep, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) is running for the Democratic nomination in 2020, so your whole life goes under the microscope. Y’all know the drill. It so happens that she had quite the legal career as well, charging $675/hour and worked on over 50 legal cases. CNN’s Andrew Kaczynski simply tweeted about this dot on Warren’s resume, which AOC thought was an attack, pulled the trigger, but got face-full of buckshot instead.

On Thursday, President Trump gave Attorney General William Barr the authority to declassify documents from multiple agencies related to surveillance of the Trump campaign in 2016. *** As PJ Media reported in September of 2017, Power was unmasking people at a “freakishly rapid rate.”

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) plans to enjoy ice cream with New Hampshire voters to celebrate Memorial Day. He won’t be far from former congressman John Delaney, another presidential candidate, who’s in the midst of his 19th trip to the state and plans an itinerary that includes four barbecues, one parade and a wreath-laying. In Iowa, Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) is rolling through the cornfields in an RV, while Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) unveils a “Family Bill of Rights” and tours an ethanol plant. And here’s former vice president Joe Biden’s agenda for the holiday weekend, according to his campaign:

As Memorial Day weekend wore on, by Sunday morning Chicago police had responded to the shootings of 21 people, three of whom died from their injuries, officials said. The grim tally was only expected to increase as a shooting Sunday about 6 a.m. in the 1300 block of South Throop Street in Englewood is said to have left two dead and two injured. The shooting was possibly in retaliation for an earlier one in the same neighborhood on West Hastings Street, which also left a man dead, investigators said. Details on that shooting, in which four people were struck, were
