Anchor Jeff Glor is out as the anchor of CBS´ "Evening News" after a massive shakeup at the network´s struggling news division announced on Monday morning. Norah O’Donnell will replace Glor as anchor of “CBS Evening News,” while Anthony Mason and Tony Dokoupil will join Gayle King as co-hosts of “CBS This Morning.” John Dickerson has been removed from the morning show and will report for “60 Minutes” and help anchor political coverage, while a role for Glor is currently uncertain. “This is a start of a new era for CBS News,”

Probably have better ratings if Nora Jones sang the news.

Hint: Your news division would not be struggling if it actually reported the news. None of them can seem to get that one point straight.

A massive reshuffle of CBS news is the bottom story of the decade. Does anyone actually watch it?

Haven´t watched CBS in decades. But did enjoy it when they paired Dan Rather with Connie Chung. Rather hated her guts and he couldn´t conceal his rage. Since I couldn´t stand Rather I enjoyed every minute of it. Almost as much as when they finally fired him.

It´s not who reports the news it´s how you report the news that gets ratings.

For families having cut the cable cord, network news is the only option available other than Internet sources such as this one, which is a blessing. Jeff Glor is a gentleman with a quiet sense of humor and visible compassion. Removing him from being the anchor of CBS Evening News is sad and unfortunate; replacing him with Norah O’Donnell is not appealing and will cause this household to go back reluctantly, to watching Lester Holt. Forget David Muir.

As one who keeps track of network bias, CBS has been better than ABC or NBC. Not good...just less bad, imho.
Mornings, evenings, and Sunday´s political shows are a disgrace on ABC and NBC.

I couldn´t agree more with #12. Nora O´Donnell is a harridan. I can´t stand ´Captain Crisis´ David Muir of ABC. He reports everything with a breathless urgency. It´s tiresome.
Our home doesn´t have cable. We watch national news with much skepticism.

Walter Conkite would have never had the ratings he had if the internet was in operation to fact check him. We would not have found him the be the most tructed man in America.

#17, I knew that.....saw the movie once, about 40 or 50 years ago, but remember the skin tight suits they wore, girls of the Flying Circus.

I was a normal teen boy, about 14 or 15 when I saw it. Some things are memorable. Don´t really remember Goldfinger himself much, a blank face. But then again, I don´t remember the girl´s faces, either. Grin.
