Just when you thought you were free of Russian meddling, they pull you back in. Officials at the U.S. Census Bureau say they are concerned with the distinct possibilities of Russian interests hacking into the government’s census operations next year, much as they did during the 2016 election cycle. “Most of the agencies of the federal government that ingest data are very concerned about

Why would the census operations have an open web presence? Pretty stupid if they don't at least make external employees use a VPN tunnel to connect, at a minimum. And not one of those freeware versions, either. And keep that number low.

What a Red Herring. Now everything that does not go the way liberals want it to go will be blamed on the Russians. Nothing beats a convenient excuse to dump all your failings on. Just like the blacks who blame all their troubles on whitey, liberals will blame it all on Rooski.

Why are we not hearing about Chinese interference in our elections? No way are they sitting on the sidelines and the Democrats/Chinese have a very cozy relationship.

Of far greater concern to me is the meddling that will be done by our own crooks from the local to national level. The Russians are likely to do far less damage than the Americans.

We don't have to worry about the Russians, the census is already compromised. You can say anything you want on the census, NO ONE IS CHECKING. Want to be a citizen, just check YES! You can make up people in your household to pad those pesky apportionments. Don't like the census tallies, no problem they will statistically adjust them. Almost seems like our current census was actually created by the KGB to comprise the democratic process. Maybe not, only Democrats are smart enough to do that.

Officials consider travel bans in worst

Some inexplicable things come out of our nation’s capital. Occasionally, similar puzzlements emerge elsewhere in the nation. A current one is the developing outbreak of preventable measles that’s become so serious now that federal officials have threatened some with unusually restrictive travel bans. Some of us were unaware that such a federal Do Not Board List exists for civilians who have nothing to do with suspected terrorism. But it does. And health officials in five states have contacted the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention about banning travel by some citizens suspected of being in the 21-day incubation period for

It was supposed to be part of the relaunch of Beto O’Rourke’s fading Democratic primary campaign to recapture the empty charisma he showed while live-streaming his dental cleaning. The hour-long town hall on CNN was more of a re-fizzle. The abysmal overnight audience ratings proved the ancient show biz adage about customers: If they don’t want to come, you can’t stop ’em. Nielsen’s study of the total audience showed that viewers were less than excited about watching the bland ex-congressman from El Paso smile and dance around questions. The town hall’s total audience was 30 percent smaller than a normal Tuesday evening audience. That’s enough to give the show

Another front is opening these days in the eternal battle of the sexes. Only this one in the workplace is not about equal pay or equal job opportunities. It’s about the thermostat. A new study reveals what a lot of couples already knew: Women like their living spaces a lot warmer than men do. In fact, women’s brains work significantly better in warmer work temperatures. Men prefer cooler room temperatures. Perhaps because they rarely wear sleeveless dresses and shirts or skirts on the job. The issue is likely to be an

A new national poll of Democrats and Democrat-leaning independents confirms Joe Biden maintains a comfortable 19-point lead over Bernie Sanders and the rest of the polyglot posse seeking the party’s presidential nomination next year. But even more interesting at this early stage is that the new Hill-HarrisX Poll out Wednesday also confirms several other recent surveys that found Democrats are much more interested in ousting President Donald Trump than finding a candidate that matches their ideological leaning. If this continues, it’s good news

How is it possible to have an American flag that’s too large, you might ask? Especially on a national holiday honoring the too many who’ve given their lives for it. Well, the town elders of Statesville, N.C. have informed the owner of the local Camping World outlet that its 40 x 80 foot American flag is too large. [Snip] The town is suing Camping World Gander Outdoors, a NASCAR sponsor, seeking a fine of $50 a day. Camping World’s owner suggests the town leaders find a flagpole and sit on it. The owner is Marcus Lemonis, a billionaire businessman and host of CNBC’s most popular reality TV show “The Profit.”

Well, it’s official. Washington’s governor has signed that freaky human composting funeral legislation that allows residents to recycle loved ones like Seattle requires food waste be composted. This makes that zany, wet state the very first and quite possibly the very last to allow composting of human bodies instead of standard burial or cremation. Classic films now face the wrath of perpetually enraged social justice warriors. Last weekend’s "Watters World" on Fox News Channel analyzed the impact of this politically correct phenomenon. Exhibit A was Mel Brooks’ “Blazing Saddles,” the single funniest motion picture ever committed to celluloid. Jesse Watters’ guest, Cathy Areu, publisher of Catalina Magazine, responded to a clip of the comedy-Western in which Brooks himself portrays a Yiddish speaking American Indian chief. After securing safe passage for a family of black pioneers rolling West in their stagecoach, the feather-headdress-clad Indian bids them, “auf wiedersehen.”

Barack Obama is literally more popular than Jesus among Democrats. Unfortunately, neither the former president nor any of the party’s 23 candidates currently seeking the 2020 nomination know quite what to do with that information. Of course, before any serious endorsement conversation can commence, Obama has to finish his book (between rounds of golf and raising millions for his foundation). The writing has been going more slowly than he’d expected, and according to several people who have spoken with him, the 44th president is feeling competitive with his wife, whose own book, Becoming, was the biggest release of 2018 and is on track to be the best-selling memoir in history.
