Hillary Clinton claims no one ever told a male loser to shut up

Original Article

Nobody likes a loser who can’t accept defeat. Hillary Clinton apparently can’t understand that American voters just didn’t like her. She’s still reenacting the 2016 presidential campaign in her mind and finding new ways to blame us all for her loss. Now, the failed Democratic nominee brought her blame game to new levels by complaining about being told she shouldn’t complain. She claims people are telling her to shut down her blame game tour because she is a woman and that nobody wants a male loser to shut his pie hole.

Comments:

Umm, how about Romney? Or doesn’t he qualify?

When the Clintons made their never-ending departure from DC in January 2001, I posted here that I wished they would go away, preferably to a galaxy far far away. 18 years later I still stand by that comment.

FTA: "And for heavens sakes, Mitt Romney is running for the Senate,” Clinton said." Running? Was this article written last year or is Clinton nipping the Stoli again? Besides, neither my mom nor my four daughters won the 2016 election but they were quite happy about the outcome.

Key lawmaker wants U.S. to invade Venezuela to counter Cuba’s influence 7 replies

A U.S. senator and former presidential candidate said the U.S. military should invade Venezuela if Cuba does not immediately remove its security forces from the country, calling Cuba the Western Hemisphere’s version of Iran. In a Wall Street Journal op-ed posted online Wednesday, Sen. Lindsey Graham, a South Carolina Republican who leads the Senate Judiciary Committee, favorably compared potential military action in Venezuela to the U.S. invasion of Grenada in 1983, an operation that lasted about a week and led to the overthrow of the Caribbean nation’s military-run government.

The nation of Venezuela is in a state of crisis. Over the past few years, corruption and failed government policies have led Venezuela's economy to collapse, causing infrastructure to crumble and leaving millions of Venezuelans in poverty. The hardships faced by residents include catastrophic nationwide blackouts, hyperinflation, food shortages, and disease. The New York Times recently called the crisis the worst the world has ever seen outside of war. More than 3 million Venezuelans have fled the country since the crisis began, many of them walking out on foot.

I called my grandmother recently to check up on her. She lives in Caracas, Venezuela, and I was anxious to see how she was holding up. It was a Friday, the eve of another protest called for by interim President Juan Guaidó. Was it the sixth protest? Or the seventh? In the five months of heightened tension and crisis in Venezuela, I’ve lost count. My grandma, Dora Lopez, was in good spirits. She was in the middle of cooking pasta con caraotas, a working class dish made up of black beans and spaghetti often looked down upon by upper-class palates, but at my grandma’s, this dish is sacred.

That she had no concrete plan for when she arrived in Spain, the country where she was born in 1949 and that she fled as a child during the era of dictator Francisco Franco. She did not want to go. Havana says it will extend the rationing of food and other products in the face of hardened US sanctions. The political and economic crisis in Venezuela is also partially to blame. The Cuban government will widen the wholesale rationing of staple food items and other basic products in the face of a grave supply crisis, Commerce Minister Betsy Diaz Velazquez said Friday. She said some items, such as chicken, would be limited to a fixed amount per purchase or per customer. Other items, including eggs, rice, beans and sausages, would only be available to buy with a ration card

The case now goes to the attorney general and the Constituent Assembly, a parallel legislature set up by Maduro and his allies to cement his grip on power.

The project was meant to feed millions. In Delta Amacuro, a remote Venezuelan state on the Caribbean Sea, a Chinese construction giant struck a bold agreement with the late President Hugo Chávez. The 2010 pact, with China CAMC Engineering Co Ltd, would develop rice paddies twice the size of Manhattan and create jobs for the area’s 110,000 residents, according to a copy of the contract seen by Reuters. The North Korean government wants to talk. On Saturday morning, displaying its signature defiance and smokescreen strategy, it fired off its eastern coast what the South Korean military called short-range “projectiles.” The drill was its first rocket launch to be detected since November 2017, when it fired an intercontinental ballistic missile (I.C.B.M.) capable of striking the United States. A brief period of measured hope had followed the meeting between President Trump and Kim Jong-un, the North Korean leader, in Singapore last June. But Saturday’s provocation leaves no doubt that, once again, the government in Pyongyang is gradually, and very deliberately

Barack Obama is literally more popular than Jesus among Democrats. Unfortunately, neither the former president nor any of the party’s 23 candidates currently seeking the 2020 nomination know quite what to do with that information. Of course, before any serious endorsement conversation can commence, Obama has to finish his book (between rounds of golf and raising millions for his foundation). The writing has been going more slowly than he’d expected, and according to several people who have spoken with him, the 44th president is feeling competitive with his wife, whose own book, Becoming, was the biggest release of 2018 and is on track to be the best-selling memoir in history.
