National Economic Council Director Larry Kudlow denounced Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., Sunday after the 2020 White House candidate said President Trump was "taking credit for a recovery that started under [former President Barack] Obama." "What Mr. Booker and some others are saying is simply not true factually," Kudlow told Fox News´ "America´s News HQ". Kudlow spoke two days after the publication of the April jobs report, which showed that the American economy added 263,000 jobs last month while the unemployment rate fell to 3.6 percent, the lowest since 1969. Despite the rosy numbers, Booker insisted that the

Hussein bin Bama deserves credit for the economic recovery to the extent that he messed things up SO INCREDIBLY MUCH that he, he himself, set the stage and made it possible and necessary for a man, President Trump, to come in and fix it; so, I guess in a convoluted way, Bug-Eyed Booker is correct....but not how he´d like.

Yeah, we know ,Cory. And don´t worry, we plan to elect an inept, smooth talking, racist hack again in 2020 to turn this economy around .
I can just FEEL the light you´re bringing to our world.

Be realistic Booker! The economy was going nowhere with all of Obama´s restrictions. The GDP was the lowest ever. Obama could not find the "Magic Wand". Cory your imaginary friend T-Bone could have done a better job!

The economy started to recover before Trump was inaugurated in January. But, it did not start until AFTER Trump was elected in November and while the Democrats were claiming Trump was going to destroy the economy.
NO! Obama deserves no credit for the economic recovery.

Obama backers have said that The One had the economy primed for recovery. I would have to agree, Obama did everything possible to destroy the economy, anything a new administration would do would result in recovery. So yes, Obama is responsible for the recovery since he was the cause of slump.

It’s kinda too bad Cory will never get close to being nominated by the democrats. Trump (and we) would have a lot of fun laughing at Cory’s unoriginal nonsense.
We were following Stewart Varney closely during the 2016 election. #7 is correct. Immediately following Trump’s election the market spiked upward and continued climbing. Under Obama it had been stagnate at under 20k. Despite two years of slanderous accusations against Trump the stock market is still climbing and over 25k.

If you´re looking for someone to give you economic advice, choose the box of rocks or the bag of hammers over Cory Booker.

The hallmark of incompetence is taking credit for other people´s achievements. Its a common trait among Democrats. When Obama became pResident, checkbooks, wallets, and purses snapped shut across the nation because Obama was economically unfriendly. Obama was replaced by Trump who was more economically friendly, and people started spending again.
The main thing going for Cory Booker is he´s the one candidate that looks most like Barack Obama. It might work in some quarters, but most people will find it insulting. This creep might be VP material though.

The only credit obummer deserves for the economy is that he wasn´t able to do all the damage he meant to do.

Marxists like Ovomit and other Socialist-Democrats NEVER stimulate an economy. That only occurs under enlightened free enterprise capitalists and optimistic citizens. Period.

Trump reversed almost every aspect of BO´s economic policies. The corporate tax rate cut was important but so was the repatriation of corporate profits abroad at reasonable tax rates. For many companies, this is fueling growth by providing massive capital funding. Trump also has slashed regulations and set a policy to continue doing so (One new, cut two old).
Also there is an critical aspect to Trump that business reveres. Business abhors risk. With BO, they never knew when they would get smacked on the head with the next hammer. With Trump, they are confident that business friendly decisions will be made. That frees them up to act boldly instead of cautiously and that almost always leads to a better economy. This same aspect encourages small business to start up and banks to loan them money to do so. The tax breaks are very important for small businesses where a couple percentage more of profit because of lower taxes makes the difference of staying in business or failing.
BO´s only contribution was creating an economic logjam that, once broken by Trump, produced a big lift to the economy.
