Mueller completely dropped the ball with obstruction punt

The most remarkable thing about special counsel Robert Mueller’s 448-page report is how blithely the prosecutor reversed the burden of proof on the issue of obstruction. To be sure, President Trump’s conduct outlined on this score isn’t flattering, to put it mildly. For example, the special counsel’s evidence includes indications that the president attempted to induce White House Counsel Don McGahn to fire the special counsel (in June 2017), and then (in January 2018) to deny that the president had made the request. Mueller’s report further suggests that the president dangled pardons.

Andrew is politically naive. Or disingenuous. It was no accident that, finding no Trump-related collusion with the Russians ($35 million to date, 19 Democrat pit bull lawyers, 40 FBI agents assigned to case) he opted to leave the obstruction bit open for political purposes. Another big election coming.
I do not trust Andrew McCarthy for any number of reasons that he himself has put forward. This just adds to the pile.

PS. Someone needs to tell Andrew that a man wrongly accused may try to influence what he sees as a deck stacked against him by political operatives who happen to be prosecutors and special counsels...

FTA: “evidence includes indications” !
Evidence either proves or doesn’t prove. I say the light was green someone else said it was red. The jury must decide who is credible.
But evidence includes indications? What does that mean?
No I don’t trust this guy either. A photo of someone taking a bowel movement wouldn’t be flattering either, but “unflattering” is not a legal standard.
Andy boy can you stick to the issues and keep your hatred to one side?

As Qmap.pub points out, Mueller is a traitor. No surprise he tried to spin Trump´s righteous anger for being framed into obstruction. Didn´t work. Now the investigators will be investigated. What did hussein know and when did he know it? WWG1WGA! MAGA!

I was taught that, when referring to the President of the United States, "President" is capitalized.

I am convinced that Mueller WANTED to NOT clear Trump, so that the Enemedia could continue their lies.
I do not trust Mueller one bit.

Team Mueller had to give dems something so they could keep this collusion delusion going. Now, we await Horowitz report. Will it finally take the wind out of the sails of dems? I sincerely hope so.

If they could make the case they would have in this report.
When you have 19 hard-core Democrat partisan prosecutors, with unlimited budget and time, and they can´t agree on obstruction, then you know they couldn´t prove it either.
That Nadler and Bull Schiff as still chomping at the bit to see if they can somehow trap someone into perjury or something else is telling of their inability to be an honest assessor of the information they have had access to already, and what they may also receive.
I´m sure they´re both still getting The Democracy Integrity Project(TDIP) daily "briefings" from Daniel J Jones, who also employs Fusion GPS co-founder, Glenn Simpson and Christopher Steele.
Would be interesting to see how many times that "brief" was used to extend the Mueller probe, as it´s an elaborate media-influence operation with leaks to the media, political operatives and politicians.
Wonder if any of that could be construed as obstruction if it tried to throw-off the investigators from people connected to pushing the Russian collusion stories.

FTA: "This is unbecoming behavior for a prosecutor and an outrageous shifting of the burden of proof: The constitutional right of every American to force the government to prove a crime has been committed, rather than to have to prove his or her own innocence."
I don´t follow McCarthy outside of articles posted on this site. I see nothing he wrote against President Trump within this article. He appears to be highly critical of Mueller and uses words like "isn´t flattering," "indications," and "suggests" against Mueller, not the president. He may have been or may still be a NeverTrumper but that doesn´t jive with this article or his main point contained in the quote above. A reasonable conclusion from this article is that Mueller violated the Constitution and prosecutorial norms by knowingly and intentionally providing grist for the democrat impeachment mill. The only questions remaining to be seen: which House committee and committee chair will get that ball rolling, how the president responds, and what will normal, patriotic Americans do about it?

Pelosi´s best course is to NOT go for an impeachment.
Hoyer agrees.
What we have are the Communist cell in the House and the Congressional Black Caucus trying to take over the House by attacking the President.
They´ll have no more success than those Puerto Rican terrorists back in the 1950s who tried shooting up the place.
We all now know there was NO CRIME hence the investigation was truly a Witch Hunt, and the bad actors in the coup attempt have yet to be brought before the bar of justice, and there´s NOTHING the CBC and Commies/Peronistas in the House can do to safe their masters.

Mr. McCarthy accepts Mueller´s version of Trump acts being unflattering. Really, is that the way you do justice, Mr. McCarthy, accepting one side, without even hearing the other. And diminutives, like unflattering, rather than any evidence. I remember your comments about Trump for months, all made for 6 months after Stroyk´s text messages were released, before you even read them. As for Trump´s outbursts being unflattering, I wonder how you would react after you had worked 14 hour days for 2 years to get elected, only to have a Special Counsel witchhunt? And an attorney general that did nothing? I think Trump showed remarkable restraint! And I think Trump acted like an innocent man, and defended himself, something scoundrels in the Democrat Party would deny.

PT´s conduct has been exemplary compared with everything that has been done against the POTUS and his family, the Constitution and WTP by everyone involved in this evil, fraudulent, attempted coup in The United States of America.
Few people could have withstood it with the transparency that was provided, yet PDJT is still standing and still strong.
We have a merciful God. May He continue to have mercy on us.

McCarthy has been banging on from the start about how honest his old mates Comey and Mueller are/were.
He´s one to talk about flawed judgment.

Interesting, the NY Post picked this up to let Andy unload in the first few paragraphs...he comes to his senses at the end.
"If special counsel Mueller believed there was an obstruction offense, he should have had the courage of his convictions and recommended charging the president. Since he wasn’t convinced there was enough evidence to charge, he should have said he wasn’t recommending charges. Period."

Firing James Comey or any other FBI traitor was not obstruction of justice it was simply removing blithering idiots from jobs for which they were not qualified. Comey was an obvious biased enemy from day one and if anybody obstructed justice it was him for pardoning Hillary Clinton of crimes that should have sent her to prison for life.

McGahn & Cohen were Trumps lawyer’s...what happened to attorney client privilege?? Mueller’s so called report was one sided, the people in the report should be been allowed to read & have a response ready before it was released. If Mueller was real he should have stood with Barr during the release of the report for questions.

One thing is for sure no previous President has ever been subjected to official criminal and impeachment scrutiny initiated by the opposing political party as has the “outsider” Donald Trump. If such banana republic style politically based corrupt and outright hoax covert activities are allowed to continue, sooner or later, they are bound to lead to a civil war, as Presidents elected by the American people cannot be allowed to be undermined and sabotaged by a DC based “Deep State” and super “insider” unelected bureaucracy working in conjunction with the opposite political party, out to defend their own personal and political self-serving interests over the presidential electoral judgements of the American people.
