Sir Mick Jagger will undergo heart valve replacement surgery after cancelling the Rolling Stones´ latest tour, it has been claimed. The 75-year-old rock icon is set to have a damaged valve replaced during the operation in a New York City hospital this week, according to Drudge Report. Jagger was forced to postpone the nine-week ‘No Filter’ tour across the US and Canada after doctors told him he wasn´t fit to go on stage.

Why didn´t Sir Nick just get his name on the NHS waiting list and get the job done at one of the very best NHS hospitals in Britain or perhaps at one of the free hospitals in Cuba?

Why is he not getting this surgery in Britain? Socialized medicine for all is wonderful.

To all you Brits waiting for open heart surgery...I hope you live long enough to have it done. So much for equality. Mick hopped right to the front of the line.

Gee, why not have it done "for free" in the UK? Can´t get ´no satisfaction´ in the Brit hospitals?
A close relative lived 5 months after a successful heart valve replacement, but he was much older.
Best wishes. I wonder if he is big fan of ´free health care for all´? Maybe starting to get a bit more ´capitalist´ on that topic?

All the best to Mick. I had a valve replaced 10 years ago. The main difference today is that the operation can be done without open heart surgery.

May Mick’s operation be completely routine. May he have a complete recovery. And, may he have a rapid return to his families, his incredible band and his millions of fans. Besides, what would the ending of a Trump rally be without the Stones’ classic, “You can’t always get what you want”?
And what better way to recognize the incredible quality of America’s health care system than to have Sir Mick as a patient.

Well, Mick has slowed down a touch, but after all, he´s getting up there in age. Keith Richards on the other hand, hasn´t changed much in the last thirty years. He looked like death took over decades ago back in the late 70´s, and he still looks that way.

Jagger does not run up to 8 miles a day. What a crock. No 75 year old body can withstand that. Get serious!
Meanwhile, in other news, one hundred and twenty-five year old Rolling Stone Keith Richards will soon set off on a hundred city tour of the US. Richards has tour numerous times since the death of his former band mates some 40 years earlier....

An English lady I know came to America in 1952, She´s quite a liberal, but did say, anyone of means had private doctors and health insurance, indicating NHS was bad in the early 50´s. Look at most Britons teeth, they are scary looking.
