Knife crime is now a disease, says May: PM reveals ´public health´ approach to tackle violence after a hooded thug stabs four people at random and 10 others are attacked in just five days

Knife crime must be treated like an infectious disease killing our children, Theresa May and Sajid Javid say today. Unveiling a radical shift in policy, the Prime Minister and Home Secretary will hand hospitals, schools and social services a legal duty to protect youngsters. Casualty staff and GPs will be obliged to flag up knife wounds or other suspicious injuries so children can be referred to ‘violence reduction units’.(Snip) The move comes amid intense public concern over knife crime. Ten separate stabbing incidents have been reported in the past few days, including one in which a hooded attacker knifed four victims

Not unlike how the USA allowed measles, tuberculosis, and other previously eradicated diseases to reappear magically (mustn´t admit why), the UK actively imports carriers of the deadly Knife Crime virus.

Our liberals, of course, have tried to do the same here with gun crime, trying to get the CDC to call it a public health issue. Liberals lie and will do anything, repeat ANYTHING, to advance their agenda and gain power. It is LIBERALS who are a public health threat, and an existential threat to the American experiment in self government and individual liberty.

I just don’t get that Brit mentality.

One time, I started to watch “Cops,” when the show was in some city in England. It was highly aggravating to see these English cops going about without side-arms to confront all manner of dangerous situations, while dressed like school crossing guards. I turned shortly to another program. I don’t know any other country that requires its police to go without guns; not even the French,

I just don’t get that Brit mentality.

I know you were just being sarcastic #8 but what there really need is some common sense politicians. They ban guns, now they have the citizenry unable to protect themselves. They had the same problem during WWII. American citizens had to volunteer to send their private firearms over to England for them to protect themselves if the Germans invaded. Humans never seem to learn.

The real disease is not knifers. It is liberalism. It is Islam. I got into a huge argument, actual shouting, with my very liberal vegan friend (who is American!), who insisted all the London knife and acid attacks were due to drug dealers protecting their turf. I was so flabbergasted by his comment, I actually said, "Are you really that naive that you believe that bull S? He took offense to that and the party was on. But, he never backed down from his belief in that bald-faced liberal lie.

BTW- he is so desperate for a friend, he later apologized to me. Said, It is refreshing that two friends can debate such issues and still remain friends these days." How dumb is that? What is strange- He is really a very nice person at heart. He just bought into that Global Warming BS and that lets him swallow all the rest of the left´s total crap.

If not knives, then acid.

If citizens were armed, like they can be here, a knife wielder or acid thrower would find out that he couldn´t outrun a bullet...

...but, of course, we´re talking Britain where you can´t defend yourself.

The marriages were short and not for love. But instead of a Las Vegas-style, alcohol-fueled ceremony, these marriages were criminal schemes. Authorities announced Monday that nearly 100 people have been indicted in a massive conspiracy in which immigrants paid as much as $70,000 to briefly marry a U.S. citizen and obtain a permanent resident card known as a “Green Card.” The indictment, returned by a grand jury in Texas late last month, accuses 96 people of taking part in the Houston-based criminal organization, which created sham marriages between legal U.S. residents and aliens, mostly from Vietnam, for years.

It’s all a show, meant to keep old news in the headlines, and to appease the large “Impeach Now!” wing of the Democratic Party without actually doing anything. Everyone on Judiciary knows perfectly well that Congress can’t compel testimony from top presidential advisers except in the most extraordinary circumstances: The chief executive’s right to frank, confidential discussions with his staff is well-established. There's a recurring theme in American science fiction where the country loses its way, endures some horrible but cleansing disaster, and then rediscovers the blessings of liberty. You'll find it in Robert Heinlein's "Future History" stories, where the Crazy Years -- a period of rapid technological advances, decaying social norms, and mass psychosis -- leads to the backlash of a religious dictatorship. The Prophets regime is eventually toppled by a liberty-loving group dedicated to individual rights. The theme is even more pronounced in Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged, where a socialist regime puts the country into another Great Depression, only worse. The country's capitalists
