Dianne Feinstein: U.S. Needs to Follow New Zealand’s Gun Ban Example

Original Article

Hours after New Zealand announced prohibitions against semiautomatic rifles and shotguns, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) tweeted the U.S. needs to follow the gun ban example. Feinstein tweeted: “In country after country, massacres are followed by sweeping changes to gun laws, as logic would dictate. The United States needs to follow these examples and take action to protect Americans from this deadly public health scourge.” She attached a statement to her tweet wherein she noted: Here at home in America, since the 1999 shooting at Columbine High School, we’ve suffered through at least 227 school shootings that killed 143 and left

And when will she call for a ban on Muslim immigrations into this country after considering all the incidents throughout Europe. The invations there from those opposed to a western way of life have changed the face of those nations forever. I am sick of the hypocracy on the left.

So once again Dems propose to punish the law-abiding in hopes that will somehow affect the criminal class.

This is why, unlike New Zealand and much of the rest of the world, the United States shields weapons ownership in its constitution.

WE have the 2nd Amendment for good reason. " I ask Sir, what is the militia. It is the whole people. To disarm them is the quickest way to enslave them ". Spoken by George Mason ( co - author of the 2nd amendment) at the Virginia convention to ratify the Constitution, 1789. Thomas Jefferson said " The beauty of the second amendment is that it will be needed until they try and take it". Gandhi ( the great pacifist) said " Among the many misdeeds of British Rule in India, history will look upon the act of depriving a whole nation of arms as the blackest".

It is absolutely true that governments have murdered exponentially more of their own citizens than have school shooters and other civilian mass murderers combined. The second amendment was created in an effort to give ´we the people´ a fighting chance should our government turn tyrannical and malevolent which as long as people like Feinstein govern us, is a very real danger.

We don’t have a gun problem. We have a morals problem. If someone wants to commit mass murder there are plenty of ways besides guns to accomplish that goal. The politicians they that have a better chance of controlling the populace by disarming them. Don’t be fooled

However, if you have one person around you with a gun, then you are a massive hypocrite, and can shove your suggestion that my Constitutional rights be limited!!!!!!!

Did you ever notice she looks more like Emperor Palpatine every day?

I don´t want mass murders thinking about other ways to slaughter. Islamic fanatics killed more than 400 hundred in a movie theater in Iran, three disgruntled employees killed almost 100 people in a hotel in San Juan, Puerto Rico, 80 were killed by an angry boyfriend in New York - all with fire.

70 killed with a truck in France, 120 school kids killed with explosives in Bath, Michigan.

And yes millions and even hundreds of millions killed by the kind of governments I believe she dreams about bringing to the United States.

The Las Vegas shooter had a pilots license. And money. The concert venue was right next to McCarran International Airport.

And of course, there would be no black market in full auto weapons if semi-autos were banned. The criminals would be frightened by Emperor Feinstein´s ban. Maybe, but I heard that one seizure in Long Beach involved a container with nearly 5000 (already banned) selective fire AK47 variants reportedly from her favorite country. Perhaps intended for her good friend Leland Yin Yee, former Democratic California State Senator and Senate Speaker from San Francisco and convicted gunrunner.

If the victim disarmament mob was not so busy depicting these rifles as all powerful irresistible force perhaps people could be taught useful tactics for resistance. Can you aim and fire a rifle accurately with Korans, Torahs or Bibles flying at your head? I am sure your deity would forgive you for using their book for the purpose of stopping a murderer. A chair? A cell phone? Champagne bottle?

Would a finger in the eye hurt a shooters aim?

If there were 300 of you could some of you perhaps get to the shooter before he could kill 50 of you? If his rifle jammed and he sat down with his pistol and consulted his cell phone on how to clear the jam could you risk getting to him them? That reportedly happened in Orlando and he cleared the rifle and continued the slaughter.

What happens when people resist? When Springfield High School shooter Kip Kinkle stopped to reload his rifle an already wounded student, Jacob Ryker, rushed him and took him down and other students jumped in and helped him hold the shooter down. Two students died, but little Kip still had lots of ammunition.

Did anyone else read an account explaining why the New Zealand shooter stopped at ten killed at the second mosque? Was he really chased away by a church employee brandishing an empty shotgun or was that fake news? If true, has any US news outlet reported it? I wonder why not?

Yeah, right, DiFi, you idiot.

There is a slight hitch, called the 2nd Amendment to the US Constitution.

In case this fool has never read it, it says, in part;" the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.".

Now, I know that DiFi isn´t too bright, so I´ll clarify that "confusing language" - it means you tyrannical thugs in government cannot make laws limiting our right to KEEP and BEAR arms. Semiautomatic rifles are arms.

Frankly, automatic rifles are arms, too, and a fully Constitutional reading would prevent the 1986 ban on any new automatic weapons being sold to civilians. But that is a fight for another day.

Pound sand, you would-be tyrant.

What is going on in New Zealand right now is a perfect example why the founding fathers put the Second Amendment in the US Bill of Rights. New Zealand law does not give any similar rights to the citizens of New Zealand and thus as we can see the government there can take away long-standing rights of New Zealanders immediately without any political discourse. New Zealand is a very liberal little country that is tucked away out in the ocean East of Australia. Besides taking away the gun rights of New Zealanders maybe the socialist government there will now invite huge numbers of the religion of peace to resettle in New Zealand, making it a very peaceful country indeed, where criminals and foreign terrorists who do not obey laws will be the only people who possess modern firearms.

As of February, entities in the People’s Republic of China had owned $1,130,900,000,000 in U.S. Treasury securities. But in March that dropped to $1,120,500,000,000—a decline of $10,400,000,000. It’s all a show, meant to keep old news in the headlines, and to appease the large “Impeach Now!” wing of the Democratic Party without actually doing anything. Everyone on Judiciary knows perfectly well that Congress can’t compel testimony from top presidential advisers except in the most extraordinary circumstances: The chief executive’s right to frank, confidential discussions with his staff is well-established.
