Sen. Elizabeth Warren explained at a townhall meeting sponsored by CNN in Jackson, Miss., on Monday night how God picks some people to go to heaven and others to go to another place. She did this after she was asked by moderator Jake Tapper what role faith plays in her life. After saying that she was raised a Methodist and used to teach Sunday school, Warren said: “The story for me is Matthew 26, and I´m sure some of you, a lot of you know this story. You know, this is the one where the shepherd is dividing the world

Hey Lizzie, you are in favor of murdering newborn infants. Care to guess where you are headed after you breathe your last breath?

And what I hear in that is two things that guide me every day. The first is there is God, there is value in every single human being. Every single human being.
Anyone else see the obvious problem with this?

Kinda suprised she recognizes God since she is Native American. One wonders. If she is willing to lie about her ancestory to get a quota job, what else would she lie about? Religion, maybe?

I can never understand how you can proclaim yourself a Christian, yet be a Liberal. Th two situations are polar opposites.

I can’t judge her faith! That is given to a person by God through the Holy Spirit. I do question any Christian who is a rabid supporter of killing unborn children! This is where she should be acting on these children’s behalf, but her religion (liberalism) won’t allow that! Shame on you! The Great Father that you have worshiped for many moons will ask you why someday! And he won’t be politically correct!

Accepting what Jesus Christ did for you personally when he died for you on the cross is the only thing that will get you into heaven. Nothing else. Nothing.
“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the father except through me”. It’s that simple.
But for some people, it’s that difficult. Quoting selected innocuous bible verses will get you nowhere eternally.
All who die without accepting Jesus will not enter the gates of Heaven. Not my words. But God’s words in the bible.

MOAB. I know how you feel. But you have to remember that God loves everyone that is alive; everyone. He hates their sin, but loves them.
The Bible says that “God is not willing for anyone to perish, but that all should come to the knowledge of the truth”. Jesus is truth.
You should pray for these people.
Because, 20 seconds after their life has ended-their eternal Home has already been decided. “It is appointed unto man once to die, and after that the judgment”.
I don’t want anyone to go to Hell; God does not send anyone there-they send themselves.
Yes, the life Ms. Warren is living does not mimic the life of a Christian. And, if she continues her lifestyle, she has a very rude awakening after she dies.
But, please say a prayer for all of these people who have totally lost their way.
That is what God would want you to do.

Dont you just love it when the demonrat socialists try to bend Scripture by misquoting or misrepresenting it to sell socialism. Otherwise, the persecute people of the Judeo-Christian faith.
The only way to Heaven is a person born-again relationship with Jesus. There is only One Way, and being a good person will not get you there.

I looked up Matthew 26, the "progressive" socialists never get Scripture quotes correct. I suspect her ignorance was being used by the Holy Spirit to proclaim the betrayal, arrest and crucifixion of Our Lord during this Second Week of Lent.
Warren meant Matt 25:33 “He will place the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.” The King then invites those who will inherit the Kingdom; those that fed Him, gave Him drink, clothed Him and welcomed Him when a stranger. The righteous will ask when they did such things for Him, and He will reply, “Whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.” Conversely, those that did not do for others will be cast into eternal punishment and will cry out, “Lord, Lord!”, but the Lord will reply He knew them not.
The quote from Ephesians is in reference to the Sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross for the Salvation of Mankind. Nothing any human singly or as a whole did deserved this Saving Grace made available by our God to every living soul. He does not pick and choose those to whom He extends this Saving Grace. He gave us free will to choose Him; seek and ye shall find, knock and the door will open, ask and you shall receive. Christ was talking about Faith, not a big bank account. Once Jesus has been found, the faith journey has just begun as Grace and Acts are two sides of the Coin of Salvation. Jesus tells us plainly in Matt 25:45-46 that we will be judged by our actions.

The despicable Clintons also quoted from the Bible in attempts to convince people of their faith. Slick even carried his Bible around as a prop. I don´t know for sure but I don´t think that the Application to Heaven includes questions on ethnicity, the size of your bank account or your political affiliation. No, Lizzy, your Native American ancestry will not give you head of the line privileges.

#45 - "God chooses who will be saved and who will not be saved. We don’t have that power. He does not save on the basis of our good works. He predestines according to his own good pleasure."
Then why did God bother to send His Son to suffer His Passion, Death and Resurrection?
Why bother to be a Christian?
