Unearthed radio clips have revealed a number of sexist, misogynistic and perverted remarks by Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson. The clips compiled and published Sunday by Media Matters For America were recorded back when Carlson was a regular commentator on the shock jock radio program ´Bubba the Love Sponge´ between 2006 and 2011. For about an hour each week, Carlson would call into the show and weigh in on current events, often sharing controversial opinions in vulgar terms. On several occasions the conservative commentator defended underage marriage and statutory rape while making crude comments about minors exploring their sexuality. He also frequently employed misogynistic

Tucker, you got some ´splainin´ to do in this #METOO era. But then, as a shock jock, what else was he expected to say? Howard Stern set the bar so low in the sewer way before Tucker came along.

I think I like Tucker even more than I did before. He sounds like a regular, blue collar, down to earth kinda guy.
His comments (although on an adult radio show) sound just like the gritty, knee slapping conversations a group of my close couples friends have when we go camping, having a few drinks, sitting around the camp fire or around the table playing cards with no kids around.
When its just close fiends, even in mixed company, people tend to cut loose and get real about real life stuff and the PC filter falls away. Sounds pretty normal, like let your hair down and don´t be a prude kind of reality check to me.

So, I have to make a follow-up comment.
#8 - I know Tucker Carlson came from a wealthy family and grew up in Commiefornia. He has been my favorite commentator for the last few years and I think he is the best debater on TV. I agree with most everything he says.

Incidentally, some of you who have read my comments before may know a little about my background.
One of our best couple friends I was refering to is a rabid Liberal Leftist teacher. Her fiancé is a Trumper like me. We all go camping and shooting together and our late night talk gets a little salty sometimes. We all get along great and can happily debate issues. We all became shooting buddies and (embarrassingly) she beats me regularly at the shooting tree (not easy).
When Libs aren´t in a group, they can become ALMOST "normal".
I don´t know how those two get along at home together. LOL

Most of what he said was true. What exactly are we supposed to say when it is what most people think anyway? By the way 16 is not underaged in many places. And the muslims are very big on arranged marriages so how do we deal with that one? They also accept child brides. How about whole countries where arranged marriages are acceptable? There are a number that come to mind. As far as Britney and Paris well, everyone has their opinion on those two so what.

Media Matters was created by the Clintons, I recall.
And their specialty is to take comments out of context.
Rape, for example, used to be limited in describing violent sexual intercourse.
Statutory rape is consensual sex, but with one of the two participants under aged, with underaged defined arbitrarily by the state.
Date rape is somewhat mushy in definition. It even extends to women who, days or weeks after engaging in coitus with their date, decide it was not consensual.

These tapes were not "unearthed". Tucker openly called the show on a weekly basis up until he replaced Greta Van Susteren. Bubba Clemm got a kick out of the preppie Tucker getting down to the male junior high school level. It was all silly and there were a lot of women who listened and laughed out loud. It was Bubba´s wife that was in the infamous Hulk Hogan sex tape, so this looks like more TMZ stuff than news.

The Trump administration has ruled that gun shops are considered “essential” businesses that should remain open as other businesses are closed to try to stop the spread of coronavirus. Gun control groups are balking, calling it a policy that puts profits over public health after intense lobbying by the firearms industry. There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred. And the problem is that, when it comes to that left-wing diva, Meghan Markle, it’s hard to believe most of what she says. After weeks of hype, CBS finally televised Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah.
