It’s no secret that socialism is advancing in the U.S. The latest development in this ominous trend occurred on August 4, when Abdul El-Sayed, a progressive backed by democratic socialists, defeated the establishment-backed congresswoman Haley Stevens in Michigan’s Democratic Senate primary. At the same time, our culture is under constant attack by radicals seeking to transform our national ethos. Certain opinions are no longer treated as debatable; they are treated as evidence of bigotry or harm. Institutions that once managed disagreement now police belief, and dissent is answered not with argument but with consequences a person can feel: a lost job, a withdrawn invitation, a name circulated as a warning to others. Nowhere has the shift been more thorough than in higher education. University offices created to enforce civil rights law grew into administrative empires devoted to reshaping thought and policing dissent. Many universities began requiring faculty candidates to submit "diversity statements" —

Michigan’s far-left Democratic U.S. Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed is facing fresh scrutiny after a video resurfaced showing the progressive candidate taking aim at one of America’s most beloved sports. “Football is very much associated with a particularly masculine and, oftentimes, toxically masculine culture. And so much of it was about—you wanted to be able to get back up and play for your team, and you really aren’t allowed to show pain or vulnerability. That’s part of the sport,” El-Sayed declared in a February 2023 podcast released shortly before the Super Bowl, according to The Washington Times.

A red-faced Mayor Zohran Mamdani threw his staff under the bus Tuesday after an awkward public disagreement between City Hall and NYPD officials over whether the department will send cops to serve as security detail for his wife Rama Duwaji’s upcoming Middle East trip. Mamdani appeared to blame a mistake by his City Hall staff after a high-profile back-and-forth with the police department. “There was a miscommunication. She has not yet taken that trip and when she takes that trip it will be without any NYPD detail,” Mamdani told PIX11. The mayor’s clarification came after The Post reported late Monday that Duwaji – a 29-year-old Syrian-

The short-term funding bill the U.S. Senate passed early Saturday to keep the government running through Dec. 11 would provide about $843.9 billion for defense, nearly half of the about $1.7 trillion in annualized budget authority it covers, according to a new Congressional Budget Office estimate. The measure would largely maintain federal agencies at prior-year funding rates, but it carves out billions in exceptions, including for Navy shipbuilding programs with prior-year cost increases. CBO estimated the stopgap at about $1.7 trillion in annualized budget authority and $1.87 trillion in outlays across the 12 appropriations bills it extends. Of that, $843.9 billion in budget authority is for defense.

Dr. Anthony Fauci said in private text messages with other federal health officials that the COVID-19 vaccine could “theoretically” pose a risk of miscarriage for pregnant women after the second dose. The former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases noted that because “many people have a cytokine storm and fever after the second dose” of the vaccine, “this theoretically could be associated with miscarriage in the 1st trimester.” The January 2021 text thread took place during the early weeks of the COVID-19 vaccine rollout. A cytokine storm occurs when the body releases too many small proteins called cytokines into the blood too fast,

recount of Indiana's 23rd Senate district primary has flipped the race in favor of a Trump-backed Republican who sought to oust an incumbent lawmaker who opposed redistricting. State Sen. Spencer Deery, R, emerged narrowly ahead on primary night, but the recount has seen the race flip to Paula Copenhaver, local outlet WRTV reported. President Donald Trump backed primary challengers to eight Indiana senators who refused his push to redistrict the state, resulting in six of them losing their seats on primary night. Copenhaver's eventual win puts the figure at seven ousted. Deery led by three votes before the recount, which found Copenhaver ahead by the same amount.

The Trump administration announced Monday that it had revoked a total of 175,000 visas since the start of the president's term, stating that most revocations stemmed from recipient encounters with law enforcement. "The majority of these visas were revoked due to law enforcement encounters for a range of criminal activity, with assault, driving under the influence, theft, and drug crimes being the leading causes," the State Department said in a statement. "A significant share of visas were revoked for reckless driving, sexual assault, child abuse, fraud and embezzlement, and other crimes."

Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s wife Rama Duwaji is heading to Syria and Lebanon next month – and she’s bringing along cops assigned to the First Couple’s taxpayer-funded NYPD detail, The Post has learned. Duwaji will be jetting to the Middle East for a trip beginning Sept. 20 to the countries on the State Department’s “Do Not Travel” list for Americans because of dangerous conditions, a source said. The source familiar with the security detail said the first lady, who’s been described by the mayor as a “private person,” requested NYPD security – after traveling overseas last month without police protection. Whatever in the world possessed Virginia Governor Abigail Spanberger's staff to think this was a good idea? For some inexplicable reason, they scheduled the Democrat to appear at a Saturday fiddlers convention in rural southwest Virginia. Needless to say, this was not her crowd, and they let her know it. The setting was Galax, Virginia, a small independent city in the Blue Ridge Highlands of Southwest Virginia, located very close to the North Carolina line. It's been called the “gateway to the Blue Ridge Mountains," and its identity has deep ties to old-timey Appalachian bluegrass music.

The more you see and hear from Abdul El-Sayed, the socialist-aligned radical who just won the Democrat Party's Senate primary in Michigan, the more it seems like he's better suited to be a bomb-throwing keyboard warrior or a podcast bro who excels at raging into a microphone. It certainly seems like he's auditioning for one of these roles instead of the sober, serious job of being a United States senator. Then again, no one has accused the Democrat Party of being sober or serious in a very long time. El-Sayed had Vice President JD Vance in his sights during a recent interview with MS NOW. In it,

Democratic Gov. Maura Healey was met with applause and smiles as she signed away Massachusetts' gestational limits on abortion, making the deep-blue state the 10th to permit the procedure up to birth. Under the Prioritizing Patient Access to Care Act, health care workers will have greater discretion in determining whether to perform an abortion later in pregnancy, without facing legal penalties under the state's previous restrictions. Healey said the law is intended to ensure families facing medical complications late in pregnancy can abort their babies in Massachusetts rather than having to travel out of state. Those complications can include maternal health complications and fatal diagnoses.

What is surfacing now, five years later, is a stronger understanding of just how the establishment medical complex determined the safety and efficacy protocols of the COVID-19 vaccination. They had theories, they had speculation, they had scientific discussion; but ultimately, they did not know to what extent the vaccine was safe – and statistically it wasn’t safe. Looking back on recent history, the COVID experience stands out. The lessons from observing the government’s response, and how people reacted to it, have influenced our perspective on many topics related to liberty and freedom.

The relative peace experienced in Ireland over the past three decades may be in jeopardy as descendants of the Irish Republican Army may turn to terrorism to root out migrant populations from the country, security officials have warned. While “Ireland for the Irish” was once a common refrain amongst advocates against British control of all or part of the island, the phrase appears set to take on a new meaning of opposition to the dispossession of the native population by dint of the mass migration agenda imposed on the country by globalist governments in Dublin. According to a report from the Daily Mail, security sources in Britain are concerned that a potential

His former lawyer says Churchill died of a stroke. Iliff School of Theology Professor Emeritus Tink Tinker, a member of the Osage Nation, said Churchill "was part of the American Indian Movement from the early 1980s. All of the people who criticized him never read his body of work. His books get at the truth of what happened and is happening to American Indians on Turtle Island, this continent. It persistently challenges the usual narrative of what I call the American romance."
